We are a chapter of SOLA Christian Community of 1000+ members and supports 5 other games. We are rebuilding the GW2 guid community where we started from. It is a new guild that is now based in Fort Aspenwood. SOLA is all about being a place that is acceptable and encouraging for any who join no matter what you believe, but the leadership is Christian founded. We are a Pack! We want to be a clan of professions and races that fight together, defend the weak, and [HOWL] our way to victory! We are family-friendly and based on Christian principles. Who we look for?
You can be Christian or not, but we are looking for you, the player. We are led by a Christian leadership, but we want to build a place for gamers to make a “one stop” place where they can play games with people, find friends, and see Christians in a new light. If you want a clean environment with no worry about what is on the screen then the Vanguard is for you.

The guild’s plan?
We want to focus n WvW mostly, but we will be involved in PvE stuff as needed. We have new players and experienced players a like who want to make friends and enjoy the game. Come join us!

I had no problems before the last patch. Now it just sits there and eventually shows the same error. I too have no Internet issues nor had any before. I can play any of my other games with no issues. I do hope we get a response soon. Edit: going on 3 days now.

Last Thursday was a great night! 12 guildies came out and we looked like a solid Warband fighting in the field. We took many towers and keeps. We fought groups equal to our numbers and beat them with only 1-2 casualties, GO SALT!

SO if you are looking to join a guild that provides WvW, Havoc/Warband style playing, and language free environment then Salt is for you. Yes we are a Christian guild, and anyone is welcome to join as long as they follow our codes to keep it clean, family friendly, and have fun. We invite you to join us. See you on the battle field.

What is RED?

RED is the Christian Community Gaming Portal that supports 2 official MMO’s SWOTOR and GW2. Soon Star Citizen will be an official supported MMO as well. The Community is the Administration center for the guilds. each guild is run solely by their guild leaders to the best of their ability with the RED Counsel to lean on if they need help. The RED Counsel keeps the community running by supporting a Website, TS3, recruiting, and a Bible Study on Mondays. Yes the community is geared toward Christians, but we provide a clean environment for any who seek a haven that keeps dirty/inappropriate communications out. You don’t have to settle for less.

Please do not let Christian deter you from joining. You do not have to participate in any of the Christian based events. You can join RED and our 2 guilds anytime for the friendship, family-friendly based communities. We use Facebook Groups as our main source of Social Communication. Reason? We want each guild community to become close to each other. The stronger the guilds the stronger the community.

What makes us different from other PvX guilds?

1. We are family friendly, clean conversation, appropriate humor, friendly, and Christian based. Just because we are Christians does not mean we do not have FUN, does not mean we ONLY talk about the Bible, and it does not mean we do not know how to PLAY games. It does mean that we WILL talk about the Bible sometimes, we will SHARE prayer requests, we will MAKE the time to listen/talk, and we want the environment to be CLEAN that your 7 year old could play with us. REALITY: We are all adults. As far as I know we have nobody under the age of 17. In fact we have 8 married couples who play in the guild. So clean adult conversation is a daily thing =D

Who is Odid- WvW Commander for Salt?

I have been WvWer since the game came out. My original home was SoR, then SoS, and no FA. I have the experience, but I need people who love WvW as much as I do to join Salt. I have several professions at 80. My mains are: Duecalion Ironhorn lvl80 War charr, Thorne Bloodforger lvl80 Guard charr, Odid lvl80 thief charr, and Avatar Kierathe lvl80 Ele (F) Norn.

Why join WvW Salt’s Havoc/Warband?

1. We do not promote cussing, bad language, disrespectful conversations, dirty jokes/stories, or anything that would be considered vulgar. We provide a clean, family oriented (all are adults FYI), and fun atmosphere.

2. We are Christian oriented, but we love the game as any would. You may hear conversations about God, the Bible, family, friendships, prayer requests, and anything Christian; but we always enjoy the game as a guild, team members, friends, and family. Do NOT let CHRISTIAN scare you off, we can fight in WvW

3. I would love to pick up more who play WvW regularly. Otherwise the “hardcore” WvWers play all the time either as roamers or together. All of you who just wish you could be on TS3 without worrying about cussing all the time… we can create that atmosphere. The more who join, the more respectful conversation will exist!

Lets show the world that GAMERS don’t have to be dirty minded, cussers, and disrespectful. You want a CLEAN environment… JOIN SALT!

2. What Prof? I am not picky about what you play, my hope is that you love your profession. You learn about different builds to better yourself, and you are will to listen to me as I command. So what do we need… we need you to play your Prof that you love to play.

2. We need you to help build up a team. I would like to see Salt have 5-20 WvWers play regularly. I want you to be willing to play with those who play regularly. The more we all play together the better we become as we work together.

3. Even if you are not a Christian, but want the FREEDOM from cussing, dirty conversation, and disrespectful topics then Salt is the place to be. As we build our WvW team then we can pride ourselves in being a family friendly, clean environment for those who love WvW, but hate the conversations in guilds who allow it.

We are having a great time of lates… WvW we have had 9-12 people come out! We have been doing many successful things from taking Towers, Keeps, and countering aid with zergs.

Yesterday we had game night in the Fractals. We had a couple runs at it and much success.

If you are looking for an active Christian guild and many friends, Salt is the place!

We have been having some great nights in WvW, and we did a guild picture a couple weeks ago. Last night we had a 4v5 where we out beat them and destroyed their golem… success!
We even gained a new friend to the Guild this week, Tehface from New Zealand.

I had to shut down my guild do to no activity. I am the leader of a Christian Gaming Community Awakened to Redemption, but the members mostly play the other games we support. Our GW2 Chapter Members left to play other games. A few of us need a new home to transfer to. We are NOT a Christian only community.

What we are looking for:
1. Either a Christian guild or a guild that holds to a family-friendly environment/civil environment.
2. Good size guild community that does PvE: Dungeons|Missions|Events|J-puzzles|
3. Not vital but does WvWvW as a guild|I can help build a group if need be for I do have a C-tag|
4. It does not need to be a big guild just the numbers that is regularly on to do stuff in the game.

I am open to also help a Christian Guild or GW2 Guild (like minded) who needs a website Community home to support them. We have Teamspeak, 100+ members, Facebook, Twitter, Blog, (will have podcast), and a ministry side. You would still keep your guild no need to surrender authority. You would have a community to back you up.

I will add this… SoS is looking for more WvWvW commanders. I moved my guild over (small in size) to help in WvWvW and to grow. I came from Sanctum of Rall, and I have seen a lot of methods of fighting. I try my best to motivate and use what I know. Experience is a need in there… especially from all of us who have been doing WvWvW since launch.

Try all of the classes and take time to check out youtube for builds. Remember you can make any class fit your genre of play, but style depends on how you play. That is where you need to find which one fits you. Have any questions or need help… you can PM me in game =)
