It would take A LOT for TC to collapse. The server pride is so strong and widespread that I can’t think of a guild that wouldn’t go down with the ship. ANet would have to (further) destroy the game type before I think you’ll see TC fall.
I don’t think anyone from DB can deny that they have vastly better coverage than FA or TC. Hell if TC and FA put their non-NA prime coverage together, we’d probably barely pass DB in SEA/Oceanic numbers. We’re not sinking boats, we’ve just got less people.
As mentioned before a group of 30 could hold a keep against 100 people even before the patch.
Give me command of 100 PUGs with map chat against your 30 best WvW players on voice chat, and I will run those 100 PUGs down your collective gullets, buffed ACs or not. You won’t even know what hit you.
I couldn’t disagree more on the boon part of this discussion. For small scale fights, knowing what conditions/boons an enemy has can completely change the fight. It inspires skill rather than guessing what your enemy is doing and just hoping it goes well. I’m not sure why people are supporting removing skillful play from an PvP game type. I’m pretty sure I would quit WvW on the spot if they did something like that.
Completely agree. The second I see an opponent outmanned on a map when I’m commanding, I drop whatever I was doing and hit their stuff. It’s a great big ‘hit me while I’m down’ sign.
Great fights tonight on FABL. Thanks to everyone who came out, Agg, Tsi and Dis. I gotta ask though, what was up with the fast building on the Omega Golem inside the SE tower TC? You let us get the gate down, then let us take then high ground, then built an omega while we took down the lord. I think it is safe to say, we were all very confused. Particularly after we downed the golem just outside the gate. Anyhow, thanks for the fun times, keep that kind of thing up and I will rush home early from work everyday to make sure I can make our campaign time.
The golem blueprint was there when you guys broke in, you guys passed it on your way up. We figured we would build it and get it out before you guys took the tower. That didn’t go as planned. :<
[DIS] push is starting in 20m. I’m not sure which map we’ll be on but come find/fight us! I’m not sure how large our showing will be because of finals but we’ll be out and about and lookin’ for fun.

Primordus Virtus [RISE] The underdog guild of T6 to T2 chronicles of Kaineng has come to an end.
On Monday April 22 2013. I, Prince Jarvan Leader of Prmordus Virtus, announced that [RISE] will stay on Kaineng. Unfortunately the promise didnt turn out as good as it was. The guild lost strong core members including core officers due to staying. I thought of it over-night, if the guild stays it will slowly die with frustration or transfer start new and redeem the guild of quality > quantity guild. So i have decided we will farm for gold and have our designated server will be confirm on Monday-tuesday of April 29-30th.
Im deeply grateful to the people of kaineng for none-stop support and full respect of RISE. I apologize for all the promises that I made for the server. RISE gave its full potential in WvW and for the people of kaineng. The memories will live on but it will RISE again.

I think the easiest way would be to do something like this:
10 or less people tagged the enemy you killed? Full WXP.
20 or less people tagged the enemy you killed? Half WXP.
20+ people tagged the enemy you killed? 1/4 WXP
Round down in all calculations so someone worth 3 WXP hit by 10-20 would be worth 1 EXP and 0 WXP to 20+.
People would avoid zergs. That, and make defending worth a LOT more WXP. Make escorting yaks worth something too.
I wont deny that getting off-peak hour help has helped our score (and our sleep). But I’m not quite sure why you guys think it makes the fights less competitive during the times they’re not even online. That’s all on your end. We have exactly the same team playing when we first got in this tier as we do now. The only difference is you guys just bunker in your keeps behinds seas of arrow carts during NA prime. We’ve gotten better because we run headlong into fights and have grown as a result. When we wipe, we pay the minimal repair fee and get out there again. We don’t run away constantly, cry and stop playing when we’re behind. For a server who constantly says they don’t care about PPT, you sure let it affect you more than any other server I’ve ever seen.
I know [BT] and [VK] are going to come in here and be like GvG, QQ, etc. But there is a reason TC will only GvG with KN and [HOPE]. If you guys want GvG’s, stop whining on the forums and earn some respect by actually fighting us in the field.
There is one particular bot that everyone I know has reported over the last 2-3 months and is still there. We’ve reported with every possible means we could think of: ingame report, exploit@ANet, ANet’s Support, forum threads, mail to Devs, etc. None of it has worked. I’m pretty sure that ANet has nothing in place to deal with banning for this behavior and thus the grief goes ignored.
Just last night we had a particular guild swap maps and jump all golems off cliffs to kill them. We’ve reported them too but doubt anything will change.
KN is back!! I’m super excited to what you guys bring this week. I want you guys to stay in this tier. If anyone has to leave, I’m sure you can guess who we would want that to be.
We’ve tried to get them going but GvG is all the rage in this tier. Nobody from KN or FA shows up when we try to start some 1v1’s, 2v2’s, 5v5’s, etc. This includes the fight club that someone from KN started. :< He got stuck at work and didn’t show up to his own event.
If TC had t1 coverage, I bet TC and BG would work together against JQ because we are pretty much infatuated with each other. I can tell you if BG were to move down and TC move up, your problem is only going to get worse because most of TC still hates SoR and I include myself in that group. I know I would take a third place week after week just to see how low I could keep SoR’s score.
Completely disagree. Think about how long it took KN to move from t8 to t2. The Glicko algorithm still operates exactly the same as it did back then. If another super server were to form, it would take TWICE as long for them to move up. Right now the tiers are pretty stale without a lot of mixing, 2 weeks matches would cut the already slow progress in half.
