I’d like some wapon skills too. God knows I need some more wapon skills.
I’d say the latter; achieving 400 is too easy for a title.
Yes…. video is a whole other ballpark. If only someone developed a fully functional model viewer.
Okay, let me get this straight. You claim there needs to be -some- newbie friendly dungeons, but right after, you just said “Make all lower than level 70 dungeons very “noob” friendly.”
Bro. Thats more than half of the dungeons.

ASURAN FIREPOWAH.
The asuran colleges are only meant to facilitate asuran minds, bodies, and stature. If you can’t at least tell if something is displaced a micrometer off just by looking at it, then you have no business being there.
It’s a pretty well known bug.
Best animations in game. Superior race.
Mixaz. Asuran Engineer. Male. Adventuring Enthusiast.
7/10 for above. I like it, though the -eh feels a little in the way. Like it doesn’t want to roll off the tongue.
Trahearne…
“Commander, halp, I can’t tie my shoe.”
That is all.
Buy the slots, or use the SPvP lobby to test and find out which classes you’ll like. It’s not that hard.
For machinimas, an option to place some sort of temporary green screen in a PVE zone would be very helpful. It could be a consumable item that lasts for a limited amount of time.
I would disagree, but since I’m actually well aware that there is no standalone GW2 model viewer, I’d vouch for it. Though I think if other players could see it other than the user, it might get complaints due to it being blatantly unappealing to the eye.
Do want. Make it happen, ANet. +1.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, satirical, serious, or if you’re just trolling.
Three of four isn’t bad!
I’ll give you props though for being bold enough to tell ANet to make their game worse through their own suggestion forum.
Or you could use a photo-editing program. Even if you had a single-color background, no one in the right mind would use a quick and dirty method, which has the potential to leave behind so much stray pixels on a given pictures, for graphic or video purposes.
(I can only assume you’re planning on using a quick and dirty method such as using magic wand + delete, given the nature of the suggestion.)
If you really wanted to get a good quality cutout, I’d recommend using photo-editing software like GNU Image Manipulation Program, Paint.Net, or Photoshop, creating a layer mask with the hardness down to 50% or so, and then carefully block out the background and undesirable elements.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, satirical, serious, or if you’re just trolling.
> There should be towns and villages in WvWvW. They should have a weak defense but villages should also give you high buffs and lots of WvWvW points for server (not for yourself)!
- I don’t see the point in putting out a low risk / high reward capture point. It’s like making a camp grant 35 points. Besides, why would a village or a town be in the middle of a Mists war zone? The place is literally an eternal battleground.
> Secondly the keeps should be more different and have be more creative. For example, keeps should have more corridors traps e.t.c!
- Could be interesting, but I don’t see how they aren’t creative to begin with. Besides the fact that the three borderlands are copy-pasted, much of the keep designs are already unique in layout and design as it is, and require a different attack/defense strategy.
> Thirdly more siege weapons should be available. Such as a big tower which 1 person can steer and 10 can be inside. This tower would move to a keep and drop the 10 people onto the keep walls! This will make battles more dynamic. They should maybe also include ladders which could be used to climb up a keep wall but are very dangerous to use if there are a lot of defenders on the keep!
- Those are not siege weapons, and they would defeat the point of using siege weapons. I don’t see how making capture points easier to breech would ever make it dynamic or fun.
However, the idea of upgrading keeps into more racial buildings is interesting.
An on/off switch for this would be nice.
I actually like the idea, but it would probably hit a lot of roadblocks.
Like proper speech recognition.
“sadly lacking new races”
I think five races with two gender choices is more than enough, especially with all the customization and lore behind them. Besides, why would any of the pact ally with a draconian race, when we are specifically at war with them? Cross faction isn’t really an option either, as it’s clearly not going to be in the game model.
If there was a new race to be added by chance, I would personally vouch for Tengu. They appear to have some interesting story behind them that I have yet to see or hear, especially including their closed off homeland that they let nobody enter.
I don’t really think the game needs feminine armor; there are already enough complaints as is about some armor sets looking skimpy.
EDIT: Though I am for adding dresses.
+1 to OP, I feel that any inconvenience in controls like this should be fixed to make a game experience that flows smoother.
While on one side of my brain, I would plus this, I would also reject it because of the community it would create; one that judges you on your gear. Kind of a gray area for me.
I’m 100% sure people would abuse such a thing to farm boss drops.
Besides, an AI would know how to play a “boss” better than a player who is handed a few skills he’s not familiar with.
I should also point out that the essence of a well-played fight is, indeed, one that involves strategy, and not brute-forcing everything. Besides, if you hate scripted boss-fights, then what are you doing playing video games?
Chances of this idea ever being implemented is pretty much 0%; the closest you’re going to get of this is costume brawls.
Making left-handed characters would involve quite a bit more redesigning of all ten player base models (more than just mirror flipping the character model, but I’m sure most of you knew that), and probably a revamp of the customization in general, so I doubt it’ll actually happen due to the amount of time it would require. It would be cool though if ANet was willing to implement left-handedness. Oh, and a sidebar; Asura engineers toss grenades with their left hand, which makes them seem somewhat left-handed when using the grenade weapon kit; not sure if any other races are animated like this.
Mmmm….like something that allows you to track the location of your guild mates while you represent a specific guild? Not a bad idea, but I’m not entirely sure what purpose it would serve other than tracking and badgering your guild mates to death.
“Really? xD I don’t think this game could get much “dumber” than it already is. A-Net worships the mega-casuals, and that’s what this game was made for.”
Okay, fair point, but why dumb it down even more.
I have problems with the BLTC bugging out on me often, and in some cases it doesn’t let me view certain panels until I take the time to do a full relog.
Well, yes, maybe as an optional thing. Don’t think it’s likely to be implemented though, as ANet likes to keep this game difficult rather than dumbing things down.
+1 Do it do it do it.
“And you are defending MF gear because?”
Because I have opinions, just like you. Is that such a hard concept to fathom, or were you just too lazy to re-read my posts on my stance? Yes, I don’t support leeching in any way shape or form, but why nerf the stats for that reason, and make it an AoE effect? It would reduce the stat’s effectiveness, and would effect guild groups and friend-built groups who want to designate people to wear the armor for farming purposes.
Again, a good reason why you shouldn’t just skim through text like you have for the past few paragraphs. But this will probably be ignored as well, so why the hell do I even bother typing a full wall of text on why I care to defend my own opinion.
Answer: Because I can.
I’d assume it would be too buggy, as boxing gloves count as town clothes, and have a weapon skill set of their own. Plus, I don’t think it’s fashionable to look like a hipster while battling the vast undead hordes of Orr.
Jokes aside, I think there would be too much coding problems involved for it to even matter. Town clothes should remain town clothes for a reason.
Well, I never actually stated I practice MF leeching, as I run in full zerker gear myself. Came back to clarify that, since you are a terrible person who likes to strawman what other people say.
But would that really be needed? It seems like a mechanic that cheats players of a learning experience, rather than actually helping said player learn his limits.
Well, yes, but you might as well split it into two timers to avoid confusion. It all depends on execution, I suppose.
I think this whole thread was just trolling to begin with. My opinions are apparently not even regarded or thought of here. Good day, credit card brandisher. I pray that Dhuum shows no mercy to thine buttocks.
It can’t be that b- what the living kitten did I just look at.
“Wrong, my suggestion doesn’t change the play style for people with MF gear.”
Uh, yes it does? You just asked for a direct nerf and change in mechanics to their stats in a dungeon. If that isn’t a play style change, then please, hit me with a soap-bar filled sock right where I stand. Distributing the stat like that would make magic find quite useless in dungeons, if it’s spread out like so.
I would like this. And possibly grouping weapon sets in an organized manner on the panel. One or the other.
So, essentially, the WoW based “X was last online at…” system. I suppose it would be a useful feature so managing a guild is just a touch easier. I’d also suggest a “Last Represented” timer, since I realize that some guilds have a problem tracking when their members have actually been actively participating in their guild, rather than using it as a parking space.
Agreed, capes are stupid. Thank god they had a hide feature in WoW.
You claim teleporter fees at max level are too expensive at 4 silver for a cross continental teleport.
Dungeons drop at least one gold per run.
Random drops at level 80 FROM ANY CREATURE REGARDLESS OF LEVEL can be sold and salvaged for materials that make a decent profit.
Sorry, whut?
If you don’t want people running dungeons in MF gear, then boot them. Just like any other player you don’t want in the group. Why should MF users be singled out?
I don’t see why MF in dungeons should be nerfed if you have a problem with forming your own MF-free group. It’s like saying people who stack protection gear as a DPS don’t do enough damage, and must share their defensive stat with the group.

Here, I got one; all chat filters, on the forums and in the game, force the player to speak like Quaggans for a day. (Ex; Extra O’s whenever an O is typed, and typing your own name instead causes you to say “quaggan”; curse words filtered to say “ooOOoo” instead.)
Now ANet can’t use it. Score one for me. \o/
I know that this may have been mentioned and suggested many, many times now, but in the case that it hasn’t, I wanted to speak up. I don’t have a problem with having to spend money to re-spec, or even the cost to teleport to a city to reach a re-trainer. I am not asking for dual spec either, since I’m well aware that would make the game a bit too easy.
What I do hate about speccing, however, is clicking a button seventy times just to get the spec the exact way I want it. I think I have seen an idea back on a site that I can’t remember about templates that could serve as a way to “save” a trait build in the same way a save slot on a console game (that doesn’t have an auto save feature) would work.
For example, let’s say the re-trainer is a console, and you’re the memory card (No innuendo intended) . You can only save and load when the memory card is in the system, and once the memory card is “out”, you can’t do either of the two. (I’d advise against pulling a memory card out in the middle of any modern day game; too much games autosave these days.) Maybe even charge gems for extra template slots so it can’t be abused and filled with a template for every situation.
It would not be accessible through a training manual reset, which would keep players from abusing it away from a trainer and out on the field.
I believe this would benefit the playerbase by allowing them to keep their favorite builds as an easily accessible template, for situations like WvW and such without troubling them to punch in seventy points and seven traits every time a player travels to respec. The feature mentioned above may have the potential to encourage players to explore their class, and find what specs may be right for them.
A penny for your thoughts, ANet? People of GW2?
