Guild Wars 2

For a while now my computer has decided it likes to freeze when GW2 is running. It does not matter if I am idling or running around, tabbed in or out, in a world boss fight or sitting in a lowkey area with no activity. Sound on or off, graphics up or down does not seem to affect it.

I have checked my hardware. My tower isn’t dusty, nothing is overheating. Everything is plugged in where it should be all nice and cozy.

This only happens when the game is running. It happens several times before I finally give up. Yesterday my computer shut itself off completely instead of just freezing.

I gave a looksee through this forum but I didn’t see anyone else with the same problem. If this is a repeat I’m sorry!

This new change is awful. There are things on the gem store that are sold for less than 400 gems and if I want to convert gold to get a few gems, I should be able to do that.

Can Arenanet stop blaming new players for all these bad changes lately? I’d much rather the transparent reason “We want you to buy more gems!” rather than “New Players just don’t get it!” I have never heard of new players being confused about conversion rates anyway. Like, really? That just sounds like the worst excuse in the world to fix something that wasn’t broken to begin with. If there really were problems with the old way this new way is such a bad implementation of a possibly good idea.

2. Kodan
3. Tengu

All three have established lore and cultures. All three have a heavy presence in the Tyria as we see it today. All three have established home areas (though the Hylek are spread out and don’t seem to have a central hub but whatever, it can be made! lol) And all three look really good for NPC races!

I just want to be a frog person, really. haha

Please fix this. If it was a bug or not, I don’t care. It’s a bad change.

Sylvari elementalists make sense because they are part of nature just like every other race. Just because they are biologically different from a human doesn’t mean they can’t wield fire and know how to do so safely, just like a human or norn or charr or asura.

All the professions make sense within the lore. What wouldn’t make sense is to limit what races can be what professions. In a world infused with magic like Tyria (it’s literally everywhere) it would be very strange if some couldn’t be elementalists just because of the the way magic is in Tyria.

Major disclaimer: no promises, no schedule, etc… But if you were daydreaming about what you personally want for your sylvari, what would it be? :} What would its presence feel like? What style? What materials?

There are a few sylvari NPCs walking around that I love and I’ve always wanted their hairstyles (and their fashion but that’s another thread!). I also wish it were possible to use some of the fan created hairstyles that are in this thread because some of them are beautiful and I think would fit quite well with all the other hairstyles!

Scarlet’s cactus “pigtails” would also be grand!

I love succulent plants and I think anything based off their weird shapes would be awesome. Some of them can be downright alien looking and I think that’s a perfect aesthetic for sylvari.

The first is my baby, my main, my favorite character Ysebeau. Elementalist.

The second is my mesmer Learogh.

I’m a die hard Scarlet fan! I love her. She’s entertaining and hilarious with a ruthless, evil genius pulling everything together. She’s great.

However, this Thaumonova Reactor stuff is really pushing the line for me. She’s not the only villain Tyria has or ever had. Hopefully it will all make sense in the end.

No, I’d rather they just allow us to sit in the chairs already in game.

Is that an official shirt? I saw some on Redbubble but I don’t want any real clothing that isn’t official release and does not give money to support my favorite game.

I keep seeing you Arenanet people wearing your GW2 shirts and things and I sigh sadly that I cannot own similar. So! Here I am suggesting that you sell us these things! I especially want a Guild Wars 2 themed hoodie! I love hoodies. A big, fluffy, deliciously warm white hoodie with the red 2 logo splashed across the front sounds wonderful to me for this season!

I would love to see:
Hats of various sorts (I’m partial to beanies hinthint)
T-shirts
Sweatshirts
Hoodies (both pullover and zip up)
Quaggan hats
Quaggan backpacks
Plushies

I know those last three things exist because of fans but I’d love to see official releases that we can purchase from your website’s store. I’m sure you would make tons of money furthering along your sadistic (and wonderful, imo) love for Scarlet Briar and her shenanigans. As a staunch Scarlet fan I fully support any and all efforts to further her story and I think this clothing idea would be the perfect way to fund your further developments for her.

I have experienced this same issue many times. It’s a very recent issue for me as well. I thought it was something on my end but it seems it’s not.

1. Mini Pet keyring and/or a way to keep them active without worrying about “Deposit Collectibles” accidentally sending them to the bank. I know we can buy invisibility bags but I’d really like a way to keep the mini pets out of my bags all together but still able to show them off.

2. More RP-friendliness. Chairs we can sit in, a /roll emote, more general emotes.

3. TOWN CLOTHES! There are SO many NPCs walking around the various cities with beautiful clothes. I would love if we could put them on our characters too!
