I really dislike the EOTM map. I find it difficult to stay in it longer than 20 minutes.
I like pvp maps and I like PvE maps… I find the 2 meshed together is an unplayable abomination.
What purpose does the EOTM map serve?
Queues are not an issue anywhere.
We had an EBG map and 3 borderlands maps that aren’t used much.
EOTM pulls people from an already mostly deserted WvW to make it even more deserted. EOTM in itself offers no incentive to do anything for your server. Why are there towers and keeps in EOTM? Why the need to break down gates? Why even have gates? Who cares if the enemy takes everything you own in EOTM, there is zero reward for winning and zero punishment for losing. Taking points gives Wxp, for people who don’t even go into the actual WvW maps. The whole map just seems dumb and unnecessary and did nothing but destroy WvW on a lot of servers.

5 months later ^ hype has fallen, eotm still have 80+ man pve zergs, that doesn’t contribute to their server score. But only earning wvw ability points so they can compete if wvw ever goes live again. There is ever only que on eb now, not due to the borderlands being almost full and rest being in eotm. But because Eotm is very easy massive wvw points compared to the other maps, so people go there to grind less (but for what?). Borderlands is empty, except for the ocational karma train running through outmanning the last yet to be rewarded defenders siegemasters and scouts. Facerolling them and corpsejumping them, like they acompliched something hard. Sometims there is a que for eb where ppl zerg in bigger numbers almost constantly too. But in fact only are responsible for a low % of the server score. Ontop of that ppl have now started gearing for zergs, and in most cases can’t fend for them selves anymore without the rest of the zerg. Which makes the mentality even more pro zerg, and less about skill. Most points are Held by very little (frustrated) numbers that is not getting rewarded. So why do you think all the dedicated people quit the game? I myself have quit more then once due to this, and am very close to doing so again.

IMO Anet should close Eotm and leave it as an option if you cannot get in any regular wvw map. not so you can join in from the wvw tab, unless your not on the server you are currently representing ofcourse. So you get ported there when you que up for a map, and have the option to leave it if you dont want to be in it. Not the other way around.

Eotm was intended to rid us of ques not of population.

Some concerns about Account Bound Wxp
Will Account Bound Wxp nerf your main characters wxp due to amount of alts?

I have a Thief lvl 80 that i have played on for the past year+ and been lvl 80. It is the only character i play wvw on. It is currently at rank 213 and that after playing 2000 hours + before ranks was introduced (without any for of wxp compensation).

Also i mostly run defence/scout/put up siege, do siegeruns/run upgrades/ or run solo or small group. So its not like my wxp progress is anywhere near fast to begin with. Or like the game has treated me fairly in terms of rewards. Sadly neither my pc system of my personal funmeter. think its fun riding the karma pvd train that you get ranks gold badges and karma from.

So my question is if my characters ranks looks like this:

Thief R213
Mesmer (lvl66, crafting alt) R2
Engineer (lvl 24) R1
Guardian (lvl44) R1
Necromancer (lvl 56, crafting alt) R1
Warrior (lvl 29) R5

What will my Account Wxp Rank look like? if i had 17 characters 1 rank 200 16 rank 1 what would my Account Wxp look like then?

Im not sure gw2 is the game for me if my personal wxp gets nerfed aswell ontop of the bad treatment Anet has been giving people with my background and playstyle already.

Heard! Nothing more annoying then getting cc’ed to death by much larger numbers that could have easy just dps’ed you down anyway if you didnt act very fast. A small cc imunity can work to prevent this. Seen it work before.

Ps. Imagine if we had friendly fire on in wvw. Now that would call for some tactic’s. Bye bye AOE Zergs.

The coyotes skales and bears are missing from the south east corner of green and blue borderlands but not red. Is this a bug? It seems kind of stale not to have any wild life in sutch a big area in my opinion. I first noticed this today as i have been keeping out of the wvw maps for the past few weeks because of the achievement zergers. But to my understanding these npc’s has been missing for some time now. i Also noticed these new toxic npc’s killing off sentries and being maybe a lilttle bit to hard compared to other npc’s, which is game disrupting if you ask me. I have tried to search both this forum and google for any Dev replies on this topic but have found none. So it would be nice if we could get like some kind of explanation for this weird npc behavior in general. I know that I for one are missing the coyotes for stacks when entering the enemy borderland solo when my team has nothing on the map so i have an actual chance of getting stacks.

But its accended, i dont really craft + i dont belive in throwing good stuff like that out. I wish they would put a small copper price on each piece of dust or something, insted of trying to force me into crafting. (Accended weapons (cough cough) Bound to account only)

i have same popping issue. and have had the siren bug aswell at a point some months back but it went away. the popping however keeps popping still. very annoying and you can easy geta shock if there is no other sounds around and your just sitting quietly reading something for example. Bump warning! lol why am i getting this when noone from anet repplied yet?

I just got a mail on my mesmer when i logged where i got this gift for my characters birthday. So i got all exited and clicked it. Only for it to disapear without giving me anything, i did’nt even get to keep the wrapping. I hope this is a bug, if not you guys are really mean. Picture attached…

To the guys having trouble hearing the Boom box, go to: Options / Sound Options / Player Instrument Volume: And pump up the Volume.

No need to have it louder then this, and if there is you can always turn up your speakers :P

PS* Fidling with VOIP Ducking also seems to boost the sound a bit.

Also they could make it useable in WvW. Or atleast put on the kitten tooltip that it doesnt work in WvW + refund my 800 gems. Cause i bought it and i play alot of WvW. Going to bug report this aswell though. Box O’ Fun works in WvW why shouldent Boom Box work too?

If you want 5 characters to be top notch you will have to spend 5 times as much time on it as you will if it was one character i see nothing unfair in thakittens not like you oponenents with 4 alts get it easier. Maybe you have biting over more then you can chew? I like playing 1 character, so why should you get an extra benefit out of playing 5. I am here talking about the wvw rank. makes no sence to bring a newly made character into wvw with a high wvw rank(or a casual played one at that). As it is not earned. just my two cents..

Have you seen a Charr on a Riding Broom? I’ts practically a hoverboard with a broom skin. And maybe not skateboard, but hoverboard could definately be an asura invention if you ask me. (If its the lore that get in the way?) Everyone is entitled to their own opinion ofcourse.

Little things i wish were in Guild Wars 2, what is your wish?

A Town Clothes Suit – (Would look great on my character! Other new Town Clothes welcome aswell!)

Skateboard or Hoverboard – (Kind of like the Riding Broom, but Cool )

Warg Minipet – (Only minipet i want really)

Edit: Player housing and or Guild Halls prefrebly with a Interior Decoration System

This calls for a rollback ANet! Admit it. We wont think less of you.
But till this is fixed i dont see myself enjoying this game,
and will therefore stop playing till this serious gamebreaking issue is fixed.
And i do love playing Guildwars 2, so please hurry up.
Dont make a new patch just remove the broken patch you applied so we can get on with it,
cant take long. And next time maybe test your patch before you run it live! Thank you.
