So there is no way I will get the seed back to craft the second/third backpiece? I need to build the first one again? And no money left…

We got the “ascendet” pet seedling. We can’t craft the next step cause we are missing the exotic step. So we need to craft backpiece 1 again.

Are you kidding me? I need to craft Backpiece 1 again because of a bug caused by you and I will get no refund? I don’t get it.

-Players who mistakenly ended up with a Pet Seed after the release can speak with Azarr Softhoof in Uplands Oasis to receive a Cultivated Seed in exchange for their Pet Seed.

I would run out to Dry Top and test to see if its working for you.

I did. For me there is only the choice to trade the 4 items of the last episode for laurels. Nothing more. -.-’

i have the same problem as everyone except mine is even worst:

i made mysterious vine. I got the cultivated seed that was swapped for pet seed. It was known that we would work with that seed for future pieces/upgrade of it. When i got to read the release note it all confirmed that i would be that way. So i go get that pet seed thinking it was the cultivated seed (anyway i never even noticed the name, just the icon of what it is). I click on that seed and it points me to the fractal of the mist door. I go there and look at the vendor. The only thing that was new on the vendor was the mist stone (i believe that is the name) the description says that combined with other item including that seed it would make a new item. I am right to believe that this is the next step and go on with it. The problem with those craftable new items is that we have to figure it out by ourselves, they never come with instruction exept the hint you get from items themselves, so that is what i did. Now i am stuck with a pet seedling that when clicked on point to gorlais spine POI, and nothing work there to go further.

You see why i say worst cause if a fix comes out to revert pet seed back to a cultivated seed it wont fix anything for me. The only fix that would work for people like me is reissuing a cultivated seed to people who have already a mysterious vine. I am wasting 5 prestine fractal relics too in the process.

from the way we have to figure out how to craft those new items i was mislead into doing the wrong thing and i afraid that my problem would not be fixed with the present state of knowledge of the issue.

i would appreciate an answer from a anet representative if my problem is already known and if it will be fixed with the patch.

Got the same problem. First step for me : Went to the fractals and build the ascendet version. Can you replace it? I think I need to craft another one (DR Part 1 exotic version)? I’m very sad

Hey, if DL were up for a fight, I’d be a happy bunny! But they arent, that’s the difference in play style we have.

I dont care if there are 80 of them and only 30 of us, but when they run away with such numbers to hide behind their walls and ACs, it’s just laughable.

The germans have got the organisation and the teamwork, which is a hell of a lot better to most other EU servers, but when it comes to fights, they will only fight if they think they are guaranteed to win. All other times it’s run back to a tower or WP out.

So? You are flaming cause we will possibly win. War is about fighting with tactic. I guess your server could do the same (:

I get exactly this! thought it was my processor getting older. Its not the graphics card as thats new and not even cranked up to max.

I solved it for 50% of the content. I downclocked my GTX295 installed an old driver and now I can play fractals and the new content without a crash. BUT here come the strange things: There is a possibility to reproduce the freeze/sound loop/restart for me. I need to speak to special vendors or do special actions and it will crash 100%

-> Karma guy southeast in Malchor’s leap
-> Arah Dungeon Vendor
-> speaking to a lot of other vendors
-> run to Tequatl from the quaggan waypoint
-> playing my charr engi for 5 minutes
-> reaching the gw2 charactermenu (I need to klick the character slots as fast as possible, so the models aren’t there)

Next month I will try a new gpu. Hope it will fix this strange issue. I tried everything!!! -.-’

A lot of players got a similar issue but the support didn’t answer any of my questions.

Still the problem….still freezing at the charactermenu, after 2 minutes, after 4 hours.
Every other game works fine but GW2 is “black screening” my pc.

Same problem here….solved for 3 months (underclocking my gpu). Now it is back and there is no point of an hardware failure. Game is crashing right after reaching the character menu.

It is crashing after 10 hours of playing, right at the beginning, after 10 minutes, after “reaching” the character menu, while talking to the arah dungeon merch…

Maybe try my first solution and “underclock” your gpu.

Got this crash with every new update content and special npcs. No solution yet.

PS: Solved it for the past 3 months with an underclock my gc. But now the crash is back again.

Got the same problem. PC shuts down and the sound loops for 5 sec.

I will bump this thread. After the last patchthe problem returned….any advice? I love GW2 but I hate the technic…..

My gpu settings are:

graphics clock: 576 MHz
memory clock: 1008 MHz
processor clock: 1242 MHz

Should I try graphics and memory clock " – 100" too?

There isn’t a hardware problem. I played the game for 4 months without problems and suddenly this **** is happening.

Today I got the “power mode” black screen crash right before reaching the login/character screen…this ist so strange

since 5 january I got black screen, pc shut down and strange gw2 start issues (I played the whole last 4 months without problems)

After klicking the “play” button in gw2 launcher the game seems to maximize two times and then the character screen appears very slowy. Sometimes, before loading the character screen, my pc crashes with a black screen and a “rrrrrr” sound. Sometimes the crash happens after 2 hours of playing, 1 hour, 5 minutes ….there isn’t a ****ing crash frequency.

System:

Windows Vista 64 – bit
AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Processor
GeForce GTX 295
8 gb ram
650 Watt power supply

I reinstalled the game, reinstalled windows, reinstalled and updated every driver (I tried the last 6 nvidia drivers)
Every other game is running fine and without problems – it is just gw2 crashing my whole pc.

Any ideas? This problem is kinda “mysterious”

Got a black screen problem too. Sometime it just happens in the login screen or after 2 hours of playing – black screen, sound loop “rrrrrr” for 4 sec and reboot.

It is just a GW2 problem and I tried everything…
