2 Patches later and still no fix -yay!

Slightly miffed after logging in this morning post patch.

After slowly working towards this META guesting various servers and trying different heads multiple times I log in to find that the META is no longer obtainable.

To most of you this seems minor but when I have invested so much time into trying to acquire the META achievement it is slightly disheartening.

I sincerely hope you will fix this in the coming days as I am starting to lose faith – that being said the new patch is awesome, can’t knock the content you guys are producing – but the bugs it brings need sorting.

I guess that it’s situational in that case then – and maybe also depended on system settings.

I just feel that the aura effect on Twilight lags behind that on sunrise.

Thanks for the reply – My issue is not when the buff happened, it’s the fact that a sunrise wielder stands out like a sore thumb in a zerg. Yet twilight has no visible aura.

Hey, forgive me for my stupidity if I am missing something.

Basically I am a proud owner of twilight and don’t have any regrets in making it. My question is why has sunrise (twilights Equal) been buffed with a bright glow yes twilight has received no love.

Surely we should also have some sort of dark aura – seemingly not.

I’m wondering if someone could answer me this – I Missed the goggles on the Aetherblade JP and just want to know if the achi is still available for finding all (22) diving locations.

Or have i missed the chance at that one due to missing the goggles in the Aetherblade JP?

Twilight is 1600G upwards. – if you buy the precursor, bear in mind you could sink and infinite sum of money into the forge for nothing whilst trying for this.

Foefires is around 500G to craft – with no RNG or luck required.

Just thought I would correct you – that being said Foefires is one awesome weapon.
100 charged… same as what is needed for the legendary GS sunrise – its not out of reach, it just takes time.

MF in dungeons is a no no in mine and most other people opinions.

As has been said by others having a high percentage of MF does not mean you are going to see rares and exo dropping left right and centre. But in the instance of farming ( be it Cursed shore or Karka farming ) – you will, over time, see a noticeable distance. I have been running Southsun with around 350% MF for the last couple of days and I would say an average hour nets me 10-15 powerful blood, 50 – 80 potent bloods, 4-8 rares along with the usual blues and greens.

Craft the ultimate item in the game and you can’t even have the stats on it you want without it affecting other things.

Can someone please confirm how I would go about getting my Full zerk stats on Twilight?

I have heard conflicting answers to this and not found anything concrete :

I’ve hear you transmute the pre to the stats you want then do it – this however doesn’t seem logical as it will change the precursor status.

Others have said you lose the Purple name when you use a fine transi stone.

Just after confirmation that if I use a fine transi crystal on twilight the legendary status will not change and I will not end up with a suffix like I do on my corrupted avenger.

Us at underworld never used to win – now i wanna do WC we seem to know how to WvW!

I am currently sat at 99% world completion – i need 1 POI and 2 Vista’s.

My issue is that both of these are on the borderlands of an opponent server – i have checked every week for the last 6 weeks and we have not held the keep that i need during that time.

I keep hearing from people that eventually this borderlands will be our borderlands so i can just do my completion then. After sitting for 6 weeks with no change in borderlands i am just seeking clarification of what actually happens.

Now that Anet have brought in a ridiculous Gem charge for server transfer i am just wanting to know what my options are or how often the borderlands switch round.

As i say – 6 weeks on the same borderlands and same colour now.

Well – ive done about 50 runs of level 10 and not had ONE from the chest yet – save up the Pristine relics until you have 10 and just buy the rings.

I presume the majority will be running utility. The +4 vitality etc are a joke. Only the level 40 fotms frequenters might run AR. You can get +15AR without the amulet which I know caters up till at least level 30 fotm.

Dude – don’t mean to sound like i’m being picky, but you can actually have 30AR from 2 rings and 1 back piece. Infusing them in the MF gives them an intrinsic 5AR base stat and then once you put the versatile infusion in this can total 10AR per ring and 10Ar for the backpiece

Some Frenchie dude who said he had to leave the game for personal reasons – he got a prompt, but didnt have to type the name in.

Also, another Vid on youtube of a guy salvaging Twilight – Same again, he got a prompt – but nothing more.

It’s really a gamble like anything else, though. I’ve been selling them as it’s good, consistent cash, but last night I decided to open 1g worth (about 40 bags), and it was all Tier 5. An unlucky break of RNG, sure, but I think I’ll stick to selling them after that – it’s just more reliable.

Yeah very true. Sell them for guarunteed money or open them at the risk of larger profits.

However even the T5 crafting materials sell for 2s so that’d net you at least 80s from 40 bags. Unless you mean you got silk and hardened leather sections :P

I haven’t really kept a record of which way is best to be honest but last night out of 50 bags i ended up with 3 giants eyes, 3 power bloods, 4 powerful venom sacs and an array of other mats like Gossamer and and T5 fine crafting materials.

Whichever works for you mate but it may be worth a gamble once in a while

Ahhhh – I never thought of that to be honest – i was kinda hoping for the omni infusion for 20% extra gold from monsters.

So on this basis i presume to allow me to progress further into fractals i will require 2 amulets? One that i would use in PvE / dungeons and another one with the AR resistance infusion that i would use solely for fractals?

Hi there – i will be at te stage tomorrow where i have enough laurels to purchase the ascended amulet i want.

After reading a few threads on here my understanding seems to be that – at present – the amulet cannot provide any agony resistance, regardless of which infusion i choose.

Am i correct in this line of thinking? or does the amulet come with 5AR already built in even though it isnt stated as infused?

Basically in short – At this present time can the amulet provide any additional AR or not?

Also i have seen people talking about having 35 AR – how is this possible? 2x infused ascended rings = 10 AR each x 2 = 20AR.
1x ascended infused backpiece = 10AR… where are these guys getting the other 5AR to make it up to 35 – appologies if i have missed something.

That’s so funny! I <literally> just read the Sonic Boom original spec on my lunch break and respec’d to that and I’m loving it! Now I don’t have to save up for new Exotics as I was already running Knights armor with Bezerk weapons/accessories! Yay!

It really is a great build – I’ve mixed it up a little and tweked it to work better for my playstyle but i’m glad i used that for a bas.

Certainly beats my old glass cannon for survivability and doesn’t hit for a great deal less either.

I must say the best thing about 100B is jumping off a fort that is being attacked in WvW and just spam everyone near the gate the Whirwind through back into the fort

Usually drops all the squishy ones then just finish them off from the walls with Longbow AOE’s

I deffo don’t use sig of rage – CD is way way too long, i will get a Screenie tonight with the battle log in the corner and also my traits shown up on screen.

In all honestly this was probably with 20 – 25 stacks of might as i have perma on both might and fury with this build.

To constitute a full fractal run means completing either 3 (if odd scale) or 4 (if even scale) fractals.

For example, lets say you are doing lvl 7 :

- First fractal, Once completed you will go onto fractal 2 out of 3.
- Complete the 2nd fractal and you will progress to the 3rd and final one
-Complete the 3rd fractal and you will return to the lab

As the poster above me said clearly – a full fractals run is from Lab to Lab, you start is Desa’s lab and once you have completed all the fractals required for that lvl ( 3 or 4 depending on scale) you will return to the lab. If at any time you or anyone else chooses to ‘Return to Desa’s lab’ then you have not completed the fractal run and would start at number 1 again.

Bit of a joke this – sort it out ANet

No bug – just make sure you are doing a fractal scale higher than your personal reward level. Tells you everything you need to know in the top right hand corner.

Basically if your personal reward level is 7 and the party fractal scale is 3 then you will not go up a lvl because 3 is obviously easier than scale 7.

In short, to progress from 7 you need to make sure that either you are the instance owner / party leader – meaning you enter the portal first and you choose the scale you want to do ( make sure this is higher than 7 otherwise you won’t progress).

Or you need to make sure that if you join another group that the Fractal scale in the top right is higher than your personal reward lvl.

Unless you do a lvl higher than your highest completed fractal, you wont go anywhere.

So, just look for it to say -
‘Personal reward scale 7’
‘Fractal sclae 8/9/10 + etc’

EDIT : Basically, as long as you do a lvl higher than your previous highest ( being 7) you will go up to lvl 8 – if you do a fractal lower than your own level you will recieve Karma instead of going up to the next level.

Nothing wrong with thiis, not broken – Just dont expect to progress in fractals unless you do a scale higher than your own.

For a Condition removal build i think you have missed the point.

Surely running 3 shouts with shouts remove conditions (soldier runes) would be better?
4 conditions gone in 20 seconds, no other cond removal is better for warrior.

Edit : Can you actually explain where your condition removal comes from? I hope to god you don’t think blowing on your war horn removes them lol

Ah, but these are 100b builds, and 3 shouts on a 100b build and soldier runes would be extremely unviable to the point of uselessness.

You can choose shake it off if you want more condition removal, but blowing your horn converts 1 condition to a boon, giving you 2 potential condition removals + 4% potential damage increase when your horn is off cooldown. Also, horn 4 removes conditions that impede your movement which are extremely detrimental to a 100b build. Your mending also removes 2 conditions. You can take a hit in damage and replace strength V with strength II, and have a bit more condition removal, but survival is still secondary for a 100b warrior, and the way i have it setup you have almost no loss in damage.

Yeah i see what you are saying – however i run a Healing shouts build with zerker armour and ‘Might on crit with GS’.

Still manage to hit for 15-18k with 100b, 4 conditions removed every 21 seconds along with a 1.3k heal from each shout – 3.9k heal every 21 seconds also.

Understandably i could run 30/30/ blah/ blah / blah but instead i found that conditions were the warriors achillies heel so chose to run with :

10 / 25 / 5 / 30 / 0

Meaning i still get the best trait for a GS warrior ( forceful greatsword ) but i also have a health pool nearing 30k, 4 cond removal and extra healing. The drop in DMG is really quite insignificant providing you can keep might and fury stacked – i ran full zerker inc trinkets before this build and found that 100B was only hitting for 1-2k more.

Basically what you are saying is that WITHOUT any traits the axe is better?

Unfortunately for you most 80’s running a GS use ‘Might on crit with GS’ trait and – as has been mentioned many times, this trait blows everything else out of the water.

So in essence, you may be right – A non traited GS does less damage than a non traited axe BUT the fact is – When traited, running perma fury and perma might axe will always be a warriors 2nd choice – Albeit a good 2nd choice, but it’s most definately 2nd, and not to mention none of the axes look as good as the GS’
