and if you decided to use a melandru rune you could achieve 75% duration reduction
imo an easy change would be to change it from immunity to duration reduction (50%?), then improve the bracket from 90% to 75% to account for the difficulty of maintaining 90%hp.
Easy fix, still a good skill, and is not god vs condi anymore.
Have you guys tried using the snowballs from the Wintersday vendor that sells snowballs for karma? I’m just guessing but there’s plenty of unoccupied Skritt in the giant presents around Tyria. 5 Skritt per present. Maybe this will work?
Hmm just gave it a good go, doesn’t seem to work. Can’t throw snowballs in combat, and even when I outranged them outside of combat, none took hits.

Is the orchestral music, battles themes, story music, and closing credits music available anywhere for purchase? I really like all of it. (GW1 stuff too!)
I did a forum search about personal story and it came up with nothing. While I seriously doubt that there are no threads for Personal Story, I simply could not find any, and was surprised there was not a major category (especially since living story has one). Anyway, the point is I played through story mode very early on after launch and enjoyed it. However, about 2 years or so later I’m playing through again and a LOT has changed with many glaring faults.
Maybe people who care can post what they’ve noticed wrong too, but I wanted to share at least one.
Chapter: Temple of the Forgotten God
Problem 1: You are introduced to a weird underwater winged creature called Sayeh for the first time, but you’ve already seen her outside and asked where Trahearne was previous to this introduction. This never used to be the case.
Problem 2: Trahearne speaks of a persons death that you haven’t even met after his speech (thanks to story rejig) and now his whole speel makes no sense.
There’s been a few as I’ve played through, and lots of them are to do with text and words spoken not lining up with what actually appears on screen. (or dialogue just not playing) I bug report every time.
I dunno, I’m just aware that theres been steps cut out, or rearranged at some point and I just hate it because the story was so cool as it was. Disappointing to say the least. Its as though its been butchered then not played through to check for retcon.
I have only 1 complaint about the courtyard map:
My team was made of 5 randoms, which is ok. The enemy team was 5 made to order, which included 3 thieves, all with Shadow Refuge. They stealthed around for the first few minutes of the match, scored 1 kill on a player in our team and then stealthed out the clock, alternating their SR’s to stay hidden.
It was clever, but for the receiving end, we all had to endure waiting out the clock with literally nothing we could do, and none of us wanted to get dishonour by quitting and requeing.
I found this to be a disappointing experience in an otherwise fabulous pvp game.
edit: Abraxadrian (above poster) might well have been a team mate of mine.
I havent read the whole topic, but I say keep it the same. If anything, maybe borrow a leaf out of WoW’s book and introduce cheap reagents to make it mean something when you use a portal, and if you get forgetful, or wasteful, you run out. Not really necessary though.
The only beef I have with the whole class is finishing while in stealth, I’d prefer finishing to break stealth. I play warrior, mostly, but when I get downed, I cant use my knock down axe in a 1 v 1 because I cant see him So cheeky.
I’m pretty sure it still costs them money in repairs if you get them, maybe thats why.
Soo much complaining going on. I liked the start of this topic better. I’m from CD and I tend to stick to a group of 2-7 at most times. 2 days ago I fought a lot of Darkhaven in EB and little Maguuma, I thought you both fought well, but most resistance (where I was) came from Darkhaven. I’ve enjoyed the match so far.
Bots are an abomination, no way man.
I consider myself reasonably savvy, but I dont know what either of ITT or RNG means. Please explain?
If you get something (anything) of value, the more other people have the same or similar object, the less yours is worth. Those who got the event rewards would prefer to be in a smaller pool. If everyone gets what they got, they are no longer special or as rich. It’s easy to reason out.
I’m in Victoria, Australia and have been house hunting over the weekend out in the countryside, I don’t have time for 1 time only stuff. I have always had, and will always have, the need for multiple runs of special events, the way things were run in GW1. Same company, same business model(with some improvements) so please apply the same old principles. Also, if you read the several other threads about this same issue, Phase 3 (for those in NZ) started early this morning when those darn delightful kiwis were all getting ready for, or going to work. The US time zones deserve favouritism to an extent yes, US company, US majority playerbase (probably), but other time zones need a look in.
