Also, don’t forget, SgtJanitor is an “Apex Prime Raid Leader.” Without going much into it, mathematically, it pays to be seeding the team you’re associated with.
All thief ports should work like a port like flesh wurm, so that it does not work regardless of LOS. It is stupid that thieves negate good positioning totally. 40s flesh wurm cooldown that you have to set up and plan to use and thief is on you with 1 click.
Trying to defend the treb vs a thief and they set up port out of LOS under the treb and just port up and down till they kill you.
It is just tiresome the way thief ports work. A s/d thief should just never lose a 1v1 imo because they should always be able to get away and port to a location which the opponent cannot get to.

I realize that you prolly don’t play spvp. But there is nothing apex does that requires talent. Most of the players don’t know advanced rotations.
That’s why you guys were able to compete in last ToL and did so good. Since you know so much about rotations.
Apex Prime has not broken any rules in the tourney. They want to win, and thus play to win, even at the cost of possibly a more enjoyable game and their reputation in the community. It’s their choice, and if we can’t beat them and refuse to play such a comp at those costs, then that lies on us.
I’m not defending Apex. I too am really quite frustrated at playing such a bunker comp. Believe me, 2k back stabs were just heartbreaking to watch. I hope anet takes a look at this tourney and possibly make some changes based off these results in the next patch.
My point is…we can’t blame Apex for using a composition or exploiting supposed bugs. They aren’t breaking any rules…bugs are really on anet’s end and there was no mention of that on Blu’s end. I hope and believe this is what my teammates ender and physics are trying to say.

I think the point; to coin a phrase here in America is, “Just win, baby!”. It doesn’t matter what you run as long as you do that. Can’t criticize teams for bringing whatever they think is the best option to the team. If that’s two Hambows and getting a win out of it, then you picked right. You guys ever heard of something call “Position” if every necro position them self good their survivability can be really good+ DS + your team peeling for you.
You have so many ways to not get your self killed And if the enemy decides to overextend it’s your teams job to punish that.

I can tell you for sure that the dodge train golem (that pushes you back) and the engineer npc (which knocks you back with rifle) don’t kick you out of DS.

So explain to me from the top lvl pvp why S/D Thief is superior to other classes and whats its contribution to the team in comparison to other classes?
Make me a spread sheet aka Aoe Damage, Raw Damage, Burst Damage, Condition Damage, Chance-to-one-shot a class, On going condition removal, Returning conditions, Might stacking; basically the list I made on page 3 post 6.
