Sorry to say that guys, but sometimes the truth hurts… I am not telling the game is perfect and have no bugs but most of QQ is really about yourselves in being owned by a better players or (usually) a better counter build. Ppl just can´t see that there are no God build, there is always a counter… there are better builds for a clean x1 too, these same ones loses at other points. finally there are builds that simply don’t work like you thought.

The cast time is too long and it simple does not work sometimes with some skills in spvp. Not working with dancing daggers for example. It needs to be improved so it can be a real alternative for thieves guild and dagger storm elites.

I will tell you why I´m giving a break to this game… it´s just because of this!! You guys are like baby girls that QQ for anything possible when it comes to thief concern… tired of this kind of weird behaviour… not fun anymore cause of this never ending crying community. It just became easy to find funnier things to do.

I play a thief as a main, I like most of thieves builds and don´t think they are op anyway – we have, for example, mesmers with insane moa and other skills. But IMHO a stealth build giving 10k+ backstab following from a 7k+ heartseeker are a bit too strong… I know it uses signets and traits and buffs but still too much damage for such a secure hit from the back and run stealth build… yet i´m not asking for a nerf.

Even if you hit in the air, venom drops.

Vigorous Recovery trait:
Vigor duration doesn’t increase even with passive +30% boon duration from Acrobatics. It should last 13 seconds, not 10. All other boons work fine. I am not sure how about Vigor from other sources, I will test it soon.

Vigor from other sources (ectoplasm stolen from a mesmer) work fine.

Needle and tripwire traps:
If a thief places a trap, then goes into stealth, and an enemy triggers that trap soon after, stealth will be broken.

vigorous recovery is not scaling with Acrobatics trait – boom duration. This really needs to be fixed……………….

right now i’m alt+tabbed a endless loading scress… I died at spvp and can’t come back cause of it… forth time in less than a 1 hour.. need to keeping alt+f4 impossible to play…

Difference between a good and bad player

A bad player loses and quickly starts to call for nerfs class X, class Y… skill Z is OP.

A good player will learn to counter things and knows that there are lots of profession builds and none is Godmode.

Basilisk Venom not working sometimes (tested at PVP cenario), it just does not apply and goes on CD… sad panda

Why is this thread stickied??? Didn´t u all learn that ppl will complain till death until their professions own anything and everything the way they want to play?

Unfortunatelly, this is balance for most ppl. Too much qq is freakin normal in any pvp forum game. It will be forever. There is always something to cry moar

Seems that HS is missing more than before… testing on pve for stationary mobs.

HS isn’t even viable now as a finisher since it deals less damage than my auto attack crits.

All I have to say about the nerf is that Anet got trolled and paid with their reputation. I know I will think twice from now on to recommend this game to my friends.

I can’t understand what you are trying to say… HS was always intended as a finisher. Ppl (D/D) who used to spam it at full hp enemies were losing dps before the nerf and now, are losing more.

It nearly did not change the values where it matters, when less than 50% oponent health.

The funny thing is, now we prob will have more deadly Dagger thieves since people start to play it in better ways.

thieves are paper made but they have great mobility and burst (there are others skills that make big numbers, not just hs). Learn to deal with it guys…

No need to say that heartseeker will really beat that hard if the oponent is bellow 33% health.

If the enemy has more than 33% hp, hs spam is not the best damage output fot D/D thieves. With that in mind, if your foul has less than 33% hp and the thief has its full initiative bar ready for use… it will hurt no matter skill used. and then QQ more plox
