sorry about the extra periods. as far as i know the setpoint was on auto update same with the unifying software that now comes with logitech wirelesss mice and keyboards
and os conflicts?..nah been that way since beta.ran dual mice for about 3 years now and didnt have a problem till january patch. and the issue only happens in guild wars 2 and not in the original guild wars?

disabled touchpad (removed wire braid from connectors inside laptop),,unistalled secondary mouse… only have gw2 steel series mouse installed…no issues with gw2 uninstalling mouse while playing in the last 10 hrs…..no annoying sound bug (you know the one (oooOOOooooOOOOooo),,,

i hate to think the only way to fix a game issue that never happened till after january 3rd patch(to remove wintersday(and whatever else was in that))..was to remove all the stuff that has been there since beta and void a warranty (if i still had one)…
please fix it the right way,,,i miss my other mouse

do any of you have dual mice..or mouse and touch pad(laptop)…i had issue with game uninstalling my gaming mouse while playing…..had to wait for it to reinstall to keep going… it was also during that time..16-17 days ago….been running dual mice since beta.. no issues..no problems no hassles…patch happens..and i’ll loose my my mouse at the most nastiest of times… in a fractal/dungeon…figthing tequatle… or chasing down a zerg in wvw….something that helped me…remove secondary mouse….opened laptop disconnect touchpad from inside so it is non functiona… now mouse hasnt had an issue in 9 hrs,,,i have been in wvw,,,,fought 7 dragons today and just finished a fractal set….oh and another bonus..i have not had the annoying sound bug today,,,,, but i hate the fact i had to crack open my laptop to be able to use a mouse…..this was not an issue before january 3rd…..what happened? when will anet fix it…i dont have these issues in the other games i play..just gw2….so dont tell me its my usb ports.. dont tell me its my bios..or my windows…or my mice.. i think i covered those in my other posts….voiding warantees to play gw2 is not a suggestion to a solution i would recommend anet….but thats what i had to do to play your game…fix it the right way please

i liked having the second mouse for when i use large screen for tv or movies…now to be tied to the laptop during an anime cause suddenly the game i like has a fit if i have two mice installed…sadness

yep that was it..during one of the patches,,,the game i guess cant have multiple mice..after removing wireless mouse(which has been there since beta)…the gw2 mouse now does not turn off or reinstall while playing..i dont know if laptops with touch pads are affected the same way(my touchpad has been disabled(unplugged on inside) for about a year now)… but it seems like if have multiple mice.. gw2 will conflict them.. after removing the second mouse… i fought jormag, tequatle, and shatterer with no problems….

so what happened in the last few patches to cause this error?

unplugging wireless mouse,,already disabled laptops touchpad,,,lets see if that helps

so far this hour no issues,,except now i get bad aiming(targeting past mobs or shooting in wrong direction)…and these stupid micro freezes where ijust for a momment the game freezes..everything stops,,then goes fast again….its not slow motion..its stop motion lol,,,running both mice at same time,,,, a thought did ocure to me… how many people getting those freezes in the other thread are people with dual mice or people with laptop that has mouse and touch pad?

and currently using logitech m705…as test…i doubt if its my moude if its only affected in gw2..and not the other games in my computer

yep zoilja bald……graphics missing or incredibly slow loading(running into la.. run into bank and nothing is there just the bankers icons.. floating in air,.,,just the water below..till it loads a few minutes later)

dungeons..fractals…wvw zergs….dragons….graphic intense or heavy population?

i get the sound from windows 7 that say something was turned off…then my gw2 steel series mouse goes dark(it has lights when its on)….naturally i loos all control… no camara movement..no ability to use skills(if a clicker).. no ability but to run in a straight line if you live long enough,,while waiting for your mouse to relight and to gain control again..
yesterday i was fighting tequatl in sparkfly … i lost mouse 3 times.. died twice cause of it…
..i was in fractals with mossman boss.. lost mouse again and died…..

earlier yesterday i was in kessesx hills doing the destroyer fissure event ..lost mouse control and died,, while waiting for mouse to restore,,, filled out a bug report with a screenshot that showed where i asked in map chat if anyone else had this problem of disabling mouse..and a few people said yes they did…….i am not alone in this

i have several games.. and have no loss of mouse…spiderman…transformers fall of cybertron…mass effect 3..dishonored….

i expected to at least get a response from somebody….if not from anet in 16 days…
this is almost a game breaking issue for me..if every time an event goes on i will die from mouse being reinstalled while playing

its still bugged….i dont even remember what my last one was..i’m at 82/83..been that way since they added the last few including trebuchet,,,,i think that was my last one…its bugged… they have a lot of issues to fix…the annoying sound issue (oooOOOOOooooOOOO)…the disabling mouse bug(reported 15 days ago)…. the extremely low fps since last patch…..

its almost a game breaker for me.. everytime i get into something big….wvw,,,fighting jormag or tequatl… roaming a fractal….or playing in coe…i will loose mouse control..and have to wait for mouse to reinstall… usually resulting in my death…we were doing tequaltl in sparkfly..i died twice.. lost mouse control twice….

it only happens with gw2,,,,tested in amazing spiderman(2012) 4 hours no hang up…tested in transformers the fall of cybertron..again no unistall reinstall while playing…tested in dishonered…once again no issues.. log into play guild wars.. go fight a dragon.. loose mouse control 3 times during one battle…
since the error only occurs in gw2.,,,i think its not my system….
checked bios…checked os system updates…checked each usb port…checked usb hub…..checked mouse drivers..and steel series mouse engine

what makes it funny to me is its not like its a POS mouse…its the one gw2 sponcered has the dragon logo on this steel series mouse

i posted a long time ago(15 days ago in fact)..i dont know if there was a “technical” response(there wasnt any on the last question i asked about it 15 days ago) ….running win 7 x64(all updates)….gw2 steel series mouse(updated drivers and engine)…gateway fx(7805pu…updated bios)

i also have the sound bug.. think they could be related?
so i guess my question is… am i the only one with this ?
is there a fix for this?

yeah i get this too,,, have to reach over and shut my speakers off..pain in the kitten . while in a battle or a zerg with karma farm

today when i logged in… was only in about 25 minutes when i stated noticing my muse lights shutting off,,,i got into fractal of the mists level 2 and started every 1minute or so loosing complete mouse function…. i am running gw2 steel series mouse…now that gw2 client crashed..my mouse is working fine again.. what happened and how do we fix it?
