It might be just me not used to seeing eles hit ac’s placed far beyond the door, but is this common and accepted, or some sort of hacking?
That’s completely normal since Ele’s Scepter fire skill can hit w/e they want aslong they’re able to target it. And by the looks of it, the ac was placed behind the door, which is easily to be targeted.
But from the looks of it the caster was on the other side of the wall and not at the gate.
I am not entirely sure whether u can select the siege from gate and move to wall without losing target (or maybe its targeting with T?).
This match-up is going to be one of those decisive for 5th place ranking – silver league.
Here is the list of bugs I have seen so far:
– Being interrupted while summoning conjure weapon puts conjure on 1min cd, but weapon doesn’t appear on ground nor in hand (happened to me once and I haven’t really been trying to reproduce the bug)
– HP % triggered traits like Earth III and Arcane IV trigger at lower value then listed.
Have no screens or videos to back this up.
I for example would love to see damage and cooldown trait merged into one ( each element separated ).
Right now it kind feel inferior to other classes tomes …

I have one too. Now I know making you tick +5 and tiering all of your nicely upgraded stuff down at midday is not as impressive as capping everything in the early morning, but we gave it a good try

I won’t say is OP or something (in fact … its very glassy) but its easier to land churning earth/fire grab thx to the Elemental surge trait while in earth using arcane skills

Now here I am asking myself a question …
Does this even work or how is it supposed to work?
I did some test at golems in mists with steady daggers and arcane skills.
I was testing the Air major trait X (+10% dmg while in air) which showed me that bonus does not apply while Air attunement is lingering bonus dmg does not apply.
Also tested the Arcana major trait XII (condition on arcane skill based on attunement)
So how should it work / or it doesn’t work …

Or am I just looking for what/which those bonuses are.
From what I can see …
Your build is like 15+ Air, 15+ Water, 30 arcana
Asuming your gear is something in between zerk and valky, since your conditions tick small
If there is something I would change is … getting Arcane blast instead of Mist form
air 5 + Fire 3 + arc. blast + Fire 5 is insane combo (I do understand he got that trait the turns him into mini form at 25% – so u can’t burst him in 1 go but its a prefect chance to heal yourself )
As I don’t know know where u put the remaining 10 point I would say go for water and get IX trait (cd helps a lot) and 2% extra dam per boon is nice
As for churning earth I do not believe is that useful at 1vs1 (hard to land when enemy is paying attention to you ) … I find it nice as an element of surprise in X vs X
when fighting as a freelance I would probably try to lure engy away from his elite
The thing that kinda bothered me was your Fire 3 + 5 combo followed by arcane wave
Because Arcane wave is a blast finisher and it can boost the Fire grab dmg.
So it should be something like Fire 3 (u can pop arcane before the blast damage – since u r alrdy on the fire line – might increase dmg of fire 3) and only then fire 5.
Well that’s just how I see those things

Running in full “Dry Bones” pvp set
Magnetic grasp and RTL are useless vs Fat enemies …
They need to increase/change/whatever the the mob model or something that u won’t be “obstructed” while trying to travel to the middle of him
For condition build I would say go with Carrion
You can try out those might stacking builds for dual dagger (Might gives condition damage too)
What you need is 10 in fire for IV and rest decide yourself
Your utility should be 3 Cantrips: Armor of Earth, Lightning Flash and Cleansing Fire
and it usually is like:
-use Ring of Fire (Fire 4) -> Attune to earth -> Earth 4 -> Earth 5 -> Armor of Earth + Cleansing Fire -> while channeling Earth 5 teleport to enemy using Lightning Flash
by doing this u have like 15 might stacks on you which is like extra 500 extra condition damage
-Drake’s Breath gives nice burn
If u consider running Cantrip build go for water trait IX which reduces cooldown
For runes u can either use MIght duration +x% or just condition dmg or duration
And for rune on your weapon use Superior sigil of battle which gives you 3 stacks of might every 10s on attunment swap

Fell free to change however u want:
-30 in earth … no need to explain = condition dmg
-20 in water … cd for Cantrips
-20 in fire … for condition duration
-if u want u can change 10 in fire for 10 in arcana for cd on swap or something
18 stacks of might -> 138 bleed and 805 from burn
If u get 25 stacks of Corruption from Sigil damage will be higher
That being said your other skills will deal decent damage too … u won’t only rely on condition damage since your power is decent

I did this path once like a month ago and we failed at last boss
After that I watched few videos and saw that 1 of these Mark golems was boosted
The 1 that shoots lightning …. in the old videos the lightning field deals dmg only when crossing it … and back then when we tried a whole field was dealing dmg (standing in the middle)
Now I am asking is this intended or is it a bug? (or was it already fixed? :P)

Try using Lightning Flash (porting next to your enemy) → followed up by Updraft or Earthquake

Well ofc I also do some Mist pvp (lv.16)
As for WvW, only if we go in as a group (not a zerg) … not in mood for those alone vs zerg situations :P
Zephyr’s Focus – Air Major trait II
Gives 10s of endurance regen buff when using channeled skills but disappears as soon as channel is done.
Tested on most of skills so far:
Here are 2 bugs I found out:
- Dagger main hand: Cone of Cold: regen buff does not disappear, lasting full 10s (or either all other channeled skills should get full 10s buff?)
- Staff: Lightning Surge: seems like this skill is not counted as channeled therefore it doesn’t trigger the trait

First off all
I like the way it is
But there something I would like to see improved
When remembering network to authorize log in I would love to see an option to remember network for a fixed amount of time: ex. 1 day
Because some of us do not have fixed IP and it changes daily
And I don’t feel like “trusting” every daily IP I get and getting 10+ mails daily can be sometimes annoying
I just noticed this today
On my Heart of the mist PvP item set I had Superior Rune of the Undead
When I upgraded my normal armor with the same rune it said 7/6 for bonus
Is this supposed to be so?
I never thought rune set of Mist armor had any impact on normal maps
An easy way to check why BSOD happened is to get minidump file viewer (just google it).
After u got this u will see which file was causing the crash and just google it for solutions.
ex. file.sys BSOD and that error number
