I had the exact same reaction
I was really excited about everything in the notes, it all sounds great to me. Improvements to stability, reductions of the “baby gates”, some cool reward stuff for WvW.
The only thing I read that made me upset was the changes to necromancer. The blurb states that they were looking to tone down the damage that chill had brought by making it harder to apply chill – fine. they reduced the duration of chill on a number of skills – fine. Then the very last item states: “Deathly Chill: This trait no longer causes chill to inflict damage but instead applies 8 seconds of bleeding each time you apply chill to an enemy.”
Then what was the point of the lip service to making it more difficult to inflict chill as a solution to it being to strong. You replaced a valid condition for DPS with (apparently?) a single stack of the weakest condition in the game?
I havent seen it in action to know if it is really a single stack but in my book that has completely gutted condi necro again. I had finally found a viable condi build for WvW that could tick out decent DPS. But bleeding has no place in it. You simply cant attain enough stacks to make a difference before someone clears it. but 3 seconds of chill at ~700 damage a second was definitely noticeable and viable.
very disappointed by this. They reduced the recharge on all wells to boot, so basically they are saying they want everyone to go back to pirateship wells.
having the glider automatically open at the top of a jump means that it opens frequently when i dont want it to. I cannot count the number of times it has made me fail a jump because it opened as I held the space bar to “make” a long jump. it opens at the last second and either puts me over the jump or causes me to slide off the item im jumping to.
If it was just a toggle option we could avoid the whole thing. Or make the glider deployment a bindable key so we can change it altogether. I would love to be able to deploy my glider only when I want it rather than accidentally deploying it when i frantically click jump as i try to make a tricky spot in a jumping puzzle.
I too have completed the hero challenge at treacherous path waypoint at least 12 times and either have not been awarded credit, or have not had my map updated to reflect that it is completed.
This wouldnt be too hard since they already have engineer and pet skills that create healing areas underwater
Has anyone found a solution to these lines in the world? As you can see in the screenshot they even cross onto a player character.
running an FX 6100 processor and AMD AMD Radeon HD 7750 card.
Ok im probably being a total noob not finding this on my own but I have looked and looked and cant find a place to look up who won past matches or what the current rankings are.
Can anyone clarify why there are 2 listings at different prices for the pink quaggan and tiger char backpack cover items on the BLTP? I see that one talks about the statless item to use if you dont have one and the other does not, but the one that does not is like 2-3 gold more expensive. I tried searching the forums and found no definitive answer.
Dont want my wife to end up spending money on the wrong one if there is a difference. Thanks.
I have been having an issue with my mouse cursor/inventory control for awhile now and wanted to see if anyone had a solution. I am using a razer deathadder with the newest synapse software because my windows 8 system would not recognize the software on the disc i received with the mouse years ago.
When I try to drag items in the inventory screen or place them in the bank the mouse will sometimes release early or double click/reclick so that I will either put the item i was trying to move back down, not pick it up at all, switch it with another item i am passing over, or in one case use the item as i tried to move it lol. This is pretty annoying but not a game breaker.
I was hoping someone else might have had an issue similar to this and could offer a solution.
