Actually this also happens for the Octovine Event as well. And I know it’s not my setup. It is random as it doesn’t happen every single time, more like about half the time. Error reports sent every time. It’s very frustrating. Maybe a refund should be in order for those that cannot enjoy the product

3 out 5 times my game client has crashed upon completion of the Octovine event. It doesn’t seem to matter which side I’m on. The last time it happened the game actually somewhat recovered but no text or tooltips were available. I still had to exit and restart the game. Anyone else have this problem?

Definitely one of the things I miss about GW1. They could have kept the capes. Much better designs and colors to choose from than in GW2. Can’t say that I’m proud to show off my guild emblem and colors like I used to.

Yesterday I received a Carapace Boot Box from Lost Bandit Chest. When I double clicked it to choose which boots I wanted, it completely disappeared. The skin is not unlocked in my wardrobe either. I’ve checked all my characters and storages just to make sure. Anyone else have this happen?

I’m looking for a Dragonbrand WvW guild that doesn’t have the “mandatory rep” BS rule. I’m willing to do my part for guild while doing WvW. During the times that I’m not repping is due to me being in a guild with longtime friends that span other home worlds. Guild must be active for the most part. My play schedule can be all over the board, but will most likely Friday-Sunday with a slight possibility of weekday evenings if possible due to work schedule. Any takers?

I personally liked a lot of the armor setups from Warhammer Online. I played Destruction so I was more familiar with the Chosen, Marauders and Witch Elves.

Nobody knows the answer. I’ve searched high and low on a few forums but there is no real fix that has helped me. 3+ months now.

It isn’t on your end. The problem is with ANet and not coming up with a timely fix on what is sounding like a rampant problem that looks like that it first started a year ago. Instead they focus on releasing new content being released monthly instead of working on existing problems first.

I feel for you. I’ve posted on the same problem without any type of fix. Your problem sounds exactly like mine.

Still no go. I did as suggested.

Did a full reinstall from both online download and from the discs. I get the same problem still. I’ll try to copy from my laptop.

Yup, same here. I’ve looked high and low for an answer and fix to no avail. I hope you find a fix.

Thanks Aapheus, but it didn’t help me. Tried it twice and still crashing. I can stand around in cities without an incident, but when I go out into the world that’s when I experience the crashes.

I’ve searched high and low through these forums and nothing helps. Whenever I go into a zone my game client goes through the Black Screen with music still playing in the background. I’ve tried a number of fixes that I’ve read through here and on Guru. My client ran perfectly fine up until about a month ago.

1. Right click on the desktop.
2. Select NVIDIA control panel.
3. Select Manage 3D Settings.
4. Verify the “Antialiasing – Mode” is set to Application-controlled / or click Restore.
5. Click OK.

This does not work.

I’ve tried bypassing my router as I’ve read that this may be the problem. Doesn’t work either. My son also plays his own account on his own desktop without any similar problems. Both PC’s are hard wired to my router. I also have no problems running the client on my laptop, but that isn’t geared towards gaming.

I’ve reinstalled drivers and client also. I need a fix that works.

I’m running a NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti, Intel i-5 2300 CPU @2.8 GHz with 8 GB of ram.

After a recent update my game client crashes when the area becomes more populated with players. The screen will first black out and once in awhile flicker back in but will crash. A grey window stating that the client had run into a unrecoverable fatal graphics error will pop up. I’ve updated my drivers to no avail. In the past I have been able to play will all graphic settings maxed with no problems whatsoever.

Legenday Priest Of Melandru spawned this afternoon on Dragonbrand. Nothing reported in drops from those that participated in event chain.

This would make a very good book if written out in a narative like The Children of Hurin. Excellent theories from all.

The exotic Pearl weapon skins are ugly as sin too. I made my greatsword and rushed to transmute to my Felblade skin. I did find a site that helped to level up through the crafting professions easier and cheaper. Google was my friend

I have 2 characters stuck in loading for Iron Marches as well.
