I will continue to expand this archive and I am thinking of either making a basic lore video for new players or start another series on prominent GW2 weapons in the game such as Sohothin and Maegdar

That’s pretty much the entire book. So to clarify, you are asking for me (or someone) to give you detail of all of these events? Can I ask why you don’t buy a copy of the book yourself? That way you at least have all of the events handy right there that you can refer back to at any time without relying on another. I’m not trying to sound rude, but as stated earlier in the thread that is a lot to ask of someone.

Or, you said you are looking for things in chronological order, so something like…

Eir meets Snaff and Zojja
Logan and crew meet Rytlock and crew
Caithe meet Logan and Rylock

…etc?

I guess its tough because you aren’t too specific on what it is you are looking for. The book is an entire novel, not really a short story, so there is still a hefty amount of information (which is why I would suggest buying the book.)

I’m always sceptical with people self-promoting their own videos, but this was very well done. Just a recap of the story, no speculation, pretty much just facts. The audio level seemed a little inconsistent at times, but overall good job with the narration and the editing.

I also liked that you showed how cool the Zhaitan fight actually is. I know most people complain(ed) about it not being epic enough, however I think it has some good potential, it’s more hampered by the execution. I still think fighting Zhaitan with cannons is more imaginative than just killing him with the run-of-the-mill magic sword (Caladbolg in this case), as many people wished. They only thing I would change is make the phase shorter in which you fire at him while he hangs on the mountain. End the phase with Zhaitan destroying the cannons, so in order to finish him off you have to ram the entire airship into him. That would have been a cool deathblow.

Just a question here because I am curious. The idea of the Living World is that there is a storyline that you take part in, that you are involved in events that shape Tyria in permanent ways—how would you all convey the sense of progression and change without also making changes to the landscape? I see a couple of comments regarding creating things, not simply destroying. Do you all have any other ideas?

A cool idea could be changing up events, NPC’s, enemies, renown hearts and things like that, that parallel with the LW so the zone is changing…… maybe, not even take out and just add.

Summary: [iLL] Illusion is the first guild crated on the Server Maguuma. After a short cool-down period, we are planning on expanding. A PvX focused guild, we have veterans in: PvE, PvP, and WvW. Currently looking for avid players who are looking to enjoy every aspect of Guild Wars 2

Lore is EXTREMELY important to me! I wish there was more story driven solo things like personal story that expands into other story arcs from GW1 and new ones from GW2. But, lately I sense a lack of lore fancy from the community. Like their are no lore videos besides Woodenpotatoes and even he doesn’t do it that much. I had an idea to cover stories and stuff in video form on YouTube but I want to do it right I just need an insane amount of assets and it be good to go.

Hey guys, I’m struggling with coming up with a warrior Knight’s/Valkyrie centric build that focuses on nice defense while pulling off crits and maintaining damage. If anyone could set me on the right track I’d appreciate it very much!

I have alot in my mind but I’ll end up writing so much I’ll just confuse everyone so I’ll just leave some bullets of my main statements

1. Need better, more occurring and more varied rewards ( Such as precursors dropping ascended chests and just the things we obtain from meta’s and the items within updates)

2. To further promote alts change the world so that is a “living world” ( For example at this point the Risen should not be in the main lands of Tyria anymore but should only be in Orr and there numbers are depleting and to solve the problem Trahearne cleanses Orr changing it drastically which would make people wanna bring alts back to these zones to level them.)

3. PvE, sPvP and WvW need to be equal and provide similar rewards.

If you took the time to investigate before ascending (i’ll assume you checked the wiki page or some outside source for the recipe) you’d have found out that all skins and infusions on it will be deleted. this isnt a big and its been known about for a very long time.

im not new to the game, i guess i forgot but i just lost a a no longer obtainable skin which is my gripe, i made a small human mistake and i didn’t think it be that big of a deal if i could reverse what i did, hey if i could buy it again i would

its not a bug as far as i know, should have used a a splitter before ascending

I had no warning, how was i supposed to know the skin would get wiped all i want is my skin back i have no problem buying a splitter if i have to do it

So i ascended my backpiece and lost my Holographic Shatterer Wings skin! I submitted a bug ticket! I just want to get my skin back! Please help Anet i just lost a one time achievable skin!

So, is Fractured! Meta going away at patch on Tuesday?

Just was leveling an alt through Kessex Hills and realized that the Tower and Toxic Alliance mobs have ruined some Renown hearts making them very hard to complete because the Toxic Alliance have replaced mobs that I need to do for the heart or the Tower legit completely cutting off parts of the water here regular krait would have been. Is there a plan to fix/take out these hearts, maybe updating according to the living story/ Toxic Alliance

Hey Anet, Just thought i’d add my opinion on the living story topic. First of all I think we need some expansion on the next dragon becoming a main threat after Scarlet is dealt with which will hopefully be soon, i would like to see more personal story missions with deeper and more emotional character development. Destiny’s edge at this point should be with the alongside the Pact and Trahearne in there further endeavors. Speaking of Trahearne maybe even before the next dragon, Orr needs to be cleansed; considering Zhaitan is dead the Risen have been been pushed back to Orr and are being dwindled by the Pact forces. There should be no more Risen in the main land of Tyria, so Caledon Forest etc and only sanctioned to Orr, Saying that Trahearne by now should have at least come up with a way to cleanse Orr given the events in the personal story. So that means a remodeling of Orr less death and more life and showing that there are less Risen and new events showing the Pact are pushing the Risen out. Hope you like my idea and maybe you have already considered this, I would love as a GW1 and 2 vet see this.

So after about 2 hours wasted the achievement didn’t pop, i was thinking its bugged but apparently people have gotten it i used Dulfy’s guide and legit thought i got everyone, im gonna be insanely thorough this time around, if anyone would like to help me run through this that be great its my last achievement i need in the category, ik the zone inside and out at this point so its just a matter of getting them all fast. My name is Fenris Gwynblade and i’m on maguuma, message me if you’d help a poor fella out

So after playing through the story two times now, i realized how similar the endings of the stories were. From the mission where you have to go to Timberline Falls it gets pretty similar throughout any character accept for a dialogue choice you make that affects who you do a missions with. I was thinking everything about the personal story be the same expect parts with Zhaitan and instead have a “living story” where you go after an Elder Dragon. So lets say Jormag is the next Elder Dragon we go after, the the character creation you’ll get a choice at point in time the character comes about so after Zhaitans death. So instead of killing Zhaitan over and over you can have a different campaign against a different foe to keep things new and fresh, Just an idea comment!!

So could you say you can use this in PVE effectively also? Is just going the straight clerics effective? or is the damage gonna be that bad that there is no point. Im trying to find a nice supporty build for PVE. All input helps

Hey, how will you be implementing the next elder dragon? will it be an update or expansion focused and will you do something like GW1 where you can pick the campaign you do for a new character, so for example my main did the Zhaitan Campaign and so i can make my alt do the Jormag Campaign

We all know this is bugged and even with the most recent update sadly still bugged, but I would just like to ask Arenanet, how long? What is the status on the bug? How bad is it? Etc. Can you give us any details?
