Precursor Crafting too expensive

Well, people do not have to make a legendary. That is more of an optional path for people to do if they tire of the remaining content.

For example, I am perfectly fine with just crafting epic gear for my guys for I do not want to do the grind for ascended just yet. I want to explore all of HoT and do the achievements, but if I have done all of that then I would be focusing on making ascended.

You can try clearing out your mail completely, as the mail sometimes bugs, and prevents mail from being delivered, even if the counter does not say 10.

Also, picking up any Gold or items from the TP has occasionally helped. Logging out completely, and then back in, as well as just waiting a few days has worked, as well.

Good luck.

Just as the title says. I bought it while on sale but it never arrived. I sent in a support ticket hoping it will get resolved but they couldn’t verify that the item was lost so they couldn’t help me out.

Now I feel lost and not sure what to do.

Please help me find my niche.

A few days ago i posted a topic in the forums to question GW2’s end game. I got a lot of good help and insight, so now i am left to find an end game of my own.

I am trying to think of an activity, or a role, where i can provide something. Be responsible for someone else’s success, but my knowledge of this game and all that it has to offer is minuscule.

Can any of you please help me?

What IS the end game content?

So there is no definitive end game. Once a character reaches level 80, there is no clear sign saying what i should be working for.

Sounds rather boring, but at the same time, from what everyone has posted, rather liberating. I don’t have to farm for gear. I don’t have to play pvp or do dungeons. I do not have to do the traditional MMORPG play route.

What everyone has explained is that the game focuses on the fun of cosmetics, so the bar of expectations in how well i can optimize dps is rather low. Different route for a MMORPG, but not having to be confined into particular goal is a nice break.

Now it is all up to myself to find something to do.

Yesterday i tried playing on Edge of the Mists because i always shied away from pvp. If only you all could feel how surprised i was when i realized it was a giant zerg moving around the map, killing champions and veterans for loot and capturing land.

That was fun, i like how it has a nice pve feel to it. But, today when i thought about playing gw2, i didnt really find a reason why i should keep playing. The pvp zerg was nice, and i really do like going around and killing world bosses when they spawn as well, but it feels like i contribute nothing.

I can go around and participate with the giant group to kill and claim loot, and experience if the character is a low level, but there is not indicator to see if i even did much. I can get credit for doing the events and such, but all i have to do is just auto attack and alt tab.

So now I dont know what to do because i would like to feel like i want to play gw2, but my presence feels so absent throughout the game when i do the big events. If gw2 end content is really big on world bosses and pvp zergs, then what exactly is the point of me trying to get better gear if i just need to ‘participate’ by auto attacking? Why should i strive to be stronger if i don’t need to?

I seek some advice here on the forums. Is there something i am missing? A whole part of the game i do not know off that can make me feel excited about the game again? What is it that you all do to have fun here?

What exactly is the end game content, and how do all you find it fun? Because farming for gear when it’s acquisition won’t be noticeable in these large end game events really makes me think twice about finding gw2 exciting

Estimating Dps?

I know there are builds that claim to be the best Dps build for Pve, but what i get confused about is exactly how do they know that it is generating the best Dps?

Is there a tool in the game that i never knew about, because the only way i can estimate my dps is the good old fashion “How long does it take for that health bar to disappear.” Great for trying out burst, but what if a guild isn’t strong in burst but rather in sustain damage, that if given a minute or so, can generate the same average Dps as the burst?

I love making builds and playing about with different concepts, but i never know if i can making a build it’s most efficient. How is it done?

I am struggling to accept that I am Ranged DPS.
GW2 is the only game where melee has been actually appealing to me, and it ticks me off when ANet designs bosses that provoke me into pulling out my rifle.

i feel the exact same way. First game ever where i feel comfortable playing a melee and actually enjoying. I just reached my first 80 as a guardian and i always thought it would be a ranged profession when i bought the game on release.

I BOUGHT THE GAME 2 YEARS AGO AND JUST HIT MY FIRST 80.

Guess all that i needed to do to enjoy the game was to expand my horizon.

Mystic forge..

I really do not like using the mystic forge. Rng is not my favorite.

What i do instead is just salvage every and all items i do not need for that magic find increase. I keep the materials for crafting because i much rather craft gear that i know i am going to get than bet it all on the MF.

Will we ever get content which rewards SKILL!

I am a bit impatient at this time of night so i have only read the OP and the answer that followed it so forgive if what i will say has been said before.

I would love to have some content that will require great team coordination, it will be a new goal for me to accomplish so i agree with what you want 100%.

There is something that bothered me about your suggestions in what requirements must be filled to make it a very skilled encounter. Needing a tank/healer/dps in the groups may be impossible. It is doable because there are classes that seemed to be geared for a tank or healer role, but it really isn’t maximized. There are not abilities that can help the tank control the agro or immense healing abilities that the designated healer can rely on.

These are the only problems i see if such content where to be released for guild wars 2

now is my chance to bring my input!

I played gw2 for the first month and quite because i didnt really have time to get into another mmorpg again for i used to play WoW like a mad man as well. Over several months, close to 11 actually, i havent played gw2 because i didnt really do much to pull me back in, however that did not stop me when i logged back in for the first time two weeks ago. Can i just say, wow!

It is not as demanding as WoW and i love the community i have been exposed to in my server. I am still a noob in gw2 because my highest level is a 29 mesmer and i hardly know anything about the games dungeons and world bosses. I am eager to reach that level cap and start grinding for the gear and explore more of the world and play around with my traits and my play style.

A very casual mmorpg which is perfect because i can just hop on, do some dailies so i dont feel like i am falling behind and log out. Then on the weekends when i have time, i join a zerg group in queensdale to help farm that monthly.

Why 80 players?

When i watched the live stream on the remake of this world boss, i saw that everyone was level 80 BUT they where reduced to the level of 66, so maybe the level requirement for this boss is actually 66, but the level 80 gear makes it so much easier.
