Every movement was magic, every swing of your weapon meant something, everything was calculated, like a match of chess, where your ability to predict your enemy was crucial.

So, I’m guessing you have not read ANY other thread on this topic because your suggestion has already been addressed argued the wrong way to combat this problem. Whose nighttime are you talking about? If the hours I work don’t follow peak time for my server does that mean I’m out of luck?

I would really like for an Anet person to respond to this. This is literally exactly whats happening. People predicted that the bottom 2 would attack the top server but why would you when you can just keep the bottom server down. Ending up in 2nd place is better then 3rd.

I replaced my GS with Axe/Sheild. Never been happier. Different play style but it feels more comfortable for me.

Plus i always felt predictable with GS. Now when a GS warrior attacks me (Bulls rush into Frenzy into Hundred blades) I just pop Ignore pain and just like that the gs warrior is useless.

I’m going to be honest. You should have known that this game has no healers before you bought it right? You know that a FUNDAMENTAL part of this game is the lack of a healing class right? So why complain about something you KNOW will never be added to the game??

I was referring to 5-10 man’s being able to take on 25-35 people.

If my guild takes the supply camp, you can be assured HOD server is bringing 30 to take it back. It never fails.

Happened to my guild yesterday. We defended with 15 people against a 30+ zerg. Strategic arrow carts behind buildings that allowed vision of the entrance and constantly fighting in the circle while rezzing the fallen allowed us to win.

Put dragons in WvW.

First of all that doesn’t fit with the lore, second I don’t want any more pve in my WvW. Lastly, WvW is formatted as a three way fight for a reason. So that the two losing servers can gang up on the winning one.

Yet that doesn’t happened, when was the last time two losing server gang up on a winning server without being confusing as hell? they need to implement a way for two server team.

No they don’t. That is exactly something they should NOT do. If Blue is in the lead we attack blue. Even if green is still attacking us we know to hit the people on top. The smart guilds in Green will know to attack Blue as well. This needs to happen organically. If Anet provides a system where 2 servers become allies it might as well just made is WvW instead of WvWvW.

A cool effect when an orb of power is placed on a stand

The first time I was part of a group that captured an orb we ran it back and tensions were high. We just fought to get it here and now we are going to place it. Well the carrier placed it on the stand and…that was it. No cool effect, it was just there. I at least expected a lightning bolt or something.

It would be cool if a round fireworks went off from the base.

Main question: Will ‘race change’ be available in the future? (and/or other character mod. options)

Additional questions: Will the following be available in the future?
- Duelling
- Direct trading
- Dungeon finding systems
- Dungeon teleporting

Dueling in certain zones is a good idea. Direct trading, they already said why it wont be in game please do a little research. Dungeon finder would be a god send. Dungeon teleporting? I have no idea what you are complaining about. There is a waypoint in front of each dungeon already.

I hope they are able to add new weapons and utility skills :)

I think the primary weapon skills need a bigger overhaul. The skills should be interchangeable and unlocked at different levels – not just by using it for 5 mins.

The static primary skills get really boring throughout levelling – and just changing weapons doesn’t really help or present the player with a challenge of constructing an actual build. I propose giving us new and more diverse additions to the primary weapon skills to give us a chance to stand out from other players and give you more control over your character. As it stands now, this combat heavy MMO has five static primary skills that don’t change throughout no matter what weapon you use, which is a shame. I just know that I quickly got tired of my primary attack options which resulted in me skipping more monsters than I’m actually killing…

I like the way its set up. If I see a greatsword warrior I know exactly what to look for. I like that better then the alternative.

Zerg, huh? My guild and I on blackgate captured and held forts against the zerg from Sea of Sorrows. We pushed them back to their borderlands and held them there. They only started to capture things when they stopped zerging and started attacking with strategy and improved their communication. Zergs in WvW are easily countered by team play so I don’t think there needs to be a fix to anything besides maybe buffing defense bonuses.

But it is not fighting the enemy zerg that is the issue, it is that your zerg never stops to defend anything. If the enemy zerg attacks your keep they just run somewhere for easy exp where they won’t have a chance of being killed.

We had that problem at first. Everyone wanted to be on the attack, its whats most fun after all. Like I said a buff to defense rewards are needed. Fortunately, simply claiming something is enough to make us want to defend. When more guilds start claiming things I think this problem will disappear.

Remove repair cost from WvW..

Look WvW is a big money maker. Money sinks are needed and repair is the obvious solution. I only need to repair my armor maybe once an hour if that. I fight smart and in WvW walking around alone is not smart. Look on you mini-map and follow the paths the other dots go in order to have the best chance of making it to you destination. I know its frustrating when you appear in a zerg, so in order to combat it I played smarter.

Inability to queue for WvW as a group (with friends) is really bad!

I agree with your first point. However the ques don’t give whole priority to those who queue first. For example if it is your first time ever queuing for WvW you take higher priority

Where did you hear that from?

As for the topic, yea the queues are really messed up right now. My guild leader queued before anyone else in my guild and got in last. I have no idea what kind of system would allow that but that needs to change. An indication of spot in queue, a show of how many people are in front of you or currently queued for a certain borderland would be really helpful. As it is now its just frustrating trying to organize anything in wvw.
