Hey again, I tried enabling real fullscreen today but the bug seems still to be there.

With windowed fullscreen the vertical sync doesn’t seem to function properly which gives nasty image tears during camera movements which is really ugly…

Since you need to play at least two professions to advance with the PvP achievements I wondered if the rating I get with my main profession transfers to other professions (which I barely play in PvP and don’t know how to handle properly). What about League points? They play a role in matchmaking on different professions, too?

Bit sad to see them toned down, the visuals looked way more exciting before.
Edit: I’ve just read the fireball discussions. Wells apparently still got lucky.

It also seems to happen for me when switching between fullscreen and windowed mode (nVIDIA 850M), but I also updated Windows 10 and my graphics drivers today, so I cannot be sure what entity is causing the problem.

Same problem for me, sometimes I can log in, sometimes I cannot. Lost connection couple times on loading maps (Lions Arch) or when joining Fractals party (on loading screen), never had connection problems like this before…

First of all, I really like what you have created with GW2. It is a masterpiece in many ways and I have shown my appreciation not only by buying gems on some occasions but also with telling people how well done and elaborate this game is.

Thing is, our guild is really small (5 people) and we just recently persuaded old friends from an old sparely populated online game (from around 2002) to try out GW2 and some of them bought the game recently, apparently in the expectation of an upgrade to the new expansion with a discount. Even if I would not care much for the expansion policy myself, I am a bit sad that I received very “disappointed” messages from guildies about what is going on now, probably not playing for a while at best.

I might be solo roaming soon again. While I thank you, ArenaNet, for the time we had socializing, upsetting players like that is not a sophisticated move of yours.

my old guild mates have abandoned the game and i’m looking for a new guild for mostly casual PvE, looking forward to entering fractals (lvl 1 so far..) and finishing world completion one day (on 68% so far), which I don’t like to grind with solo play.

I’m myself 31 years old, playing asura toons only (cause they’re awesome). I have lvl 80 elementalist (main), lvl 80 mesmer, lvl 80 necro and lvl 80 guardian with a bit over 5k AP and most times I know what I am doing PvE apart from dungeons and fractals.

I am playing mostly in the evenings (CET), my server was (not sure it is anymore with megaservers) Seafarer’s Rest. English and/or german as guild language would be fine, I don’t have access to teamspeak.
