I guess ANet balanced raid rewards around having multiple wings available, so the current rewards are bad. It would be nice if they changed it so it actually reflects the amount of effort/time put into clearing the raid, or at least make it so there’s a daily repeatable instance that gives you the normal rewards(not buffed by the 2x gold buff) so we have something else to do.

Birthday Blaster is disabled because it’s a bundle, which when equipping or dropping triggers on-weapon swap traits/sigils.

Hmm, guess I’m stupid. About the karka queen one, I didn’t get it on the first kill I did, but I joined a different map, killed it again, and did get it, so it might just be RNG.

Edit: also, I’d like to say that this wraith event on lyssa is complete kitten. The amount of grieving and event stalling you have to do for these collections is ridiculous.

So I just killed the Legendary Risen High Wizard during the capture event of Arah while having the soul battery fragment buff up. I had killed the Risen King, Risen Knight and Karas the Undying before, and they all unlocked normally. Then, when i killed the High Wizard, it unlocked the item in my collection, but it also converted my soul battery fragment to an energized soul battery fragment. I still need this to get the buff while killing the champion wraith near the Lyssa cathedral(which is annoying as heck to spawn).
I tried talking to Countess Anise again, but she won’t give me anything, neither does the legendary craftsman. Added screenshot shows the four items unlocked + the energized battery, but not the one from the Wraith.

Y’all should just go farm iron/platinum, I just made 9.3g in 20 minutes. Did my first dungeon tour since expac, bosses die so incredibly quickly now, wtb breakbar nerf pls

I recently tried doing the HoT personal story on one of my characters. Basically every instance bugged out for me before because I wanted to be too fast, however it now bugged for me on one of the intermediate steps(see screenshot).

This happened because I volunteered to a different map while the last Taimi Hologram was still talking, thinking I could skip some dialogue I’d already heard 5 times before. I’ve tried quitting and restarting it already, but it just went back to the same spot. Now I can’t continue the story for the chak/leystone skins.

There’s a small tunnel on the left before the exit, a bit raised from the ground. You can use this to avoid taking damage from the spiders on the turret.

This is because of a mechanic of one certain type of dredge, the Excavator. They can pick up weapons of dead dredge, so they have to leave something behind that they can interact with. Also, whenever there’s anything causing AoEs(turrets) or there’s something moving in the environment, chances are there’s a hitbox nearby as well, because they need some entity that actually performs these actions.

What are the cooldowns of these skills going to be? They seem pretty overpowered at the moment.

CoE P3 (possibly any path);
The dungeon is completed and you receive only the daily chest, not the chest with experience+20 tokens.

This indeed happens because the npc gets crystalled, you have to wait roughly half a minute, then she gets unstuck.

SE p2:
Endboss golems don’t spawn/become aggressive
Reproduction: letting the NPC take aggro and get killed by the bombers after blowing up the door with the mining car.
Prevention: Stealth after the glowing rock event, so the NPC doesn’t get aggro and dies before the cutscene after the 5 mining suits triggers.
Fix: no fix available.

Infinite waves of dredge spawning during the escort event
Reproduction: let the NPC die to the group of dredge before the gate with the chain next to it, then don’t res him before you trigger the first boss.
Prevention: making sure none of the NPCs which feature in cutscenes die.

A lot of these bugs are caused by NPCs dying before/during cutscenes. WTB invuln, non-aggressive NPCs

Hmm, I just finished it. I don’t know if ANet fixed it, or if it’s because I killed them one by one instead of just all at the same time.

It’s intentional, these effects (usually) only trigger if you actually gain Experience for killing something, and most mobs in living story instances don’t give you any.

It seems like it’s the same issue as the Sons of Svanir in front of Aldus Stormbringer in HotW path 1, they just stand there walking around, not turning aggressive, this happened in the same patch as where they broke the casting animation of some skills(vapor blade etc).

It still seems bugged, I did however notice there was a hidden hitbox on the boxes to the right which went away after hitting it a couple of times.

The charr personal story instance Rage Suppression gets stuck at the event where you have to kill all the summoned fire imps/embers, the bar fills up to roughly 90% when you kill everything, then nothing else happens.

Apparently CoE p2 is unfinishable now, the event doesn’t finish if you kill the husk and the gate stays closed.

Aetherblade fractal seems bugged as well, the second lasers don’t deactivate properly, which can be annoying with managing kiel.

Also, harpy feathers, ash legion and whispers spy kits, along with dagger water auto attack on ele are really badly delayed now, like here: http://i.imgur.com/nAIeSxy.gif (i was spamming the skill, it’s really bad.

I’ve seen it bug the most when I was standing on the crystal itself when magg ported, and it didn’t seem to bug when I was standing a bit further away(on the ledge next to the crystal)

So this is just a guess. But they may have fixed minipets by making the the ranger runes require companions to have a certain amount of health. Obviously this fixed mini pets but also affected clones and phantasms because they have low health.

Would this mean that allies spawned using toys(skeleton from executioner’s axe etc) still work? According to frifox’ dps meter it has ~114k hp, so it should still work.

Looks like they reverted the scaling change again for low lvl dungeons.

Since a few days, a lot of AoE skills/effects are not showing up. The border(white ring around it) still shows up, but nothing else. It’s mostly happening with combo fields like Lava Font and geyser on elementalist, but also with single hit AoE damage like Eruption and the Guardian’s Shield of the Avenger.

This makes it significantly harder to use the already buggy field combinations, because you can’t see which circle is which combo field.

I’m going to try and see if I can make a screenshot of an example and post it here.

I can also confirm this, if she’s in a map on her warrior, you can pretty much not do anything. Then, if she switches to a different character(or just goes to a different map), the server starts to catch up and everything is sped up 5×. Video for reference:
