This is considered RNG?
Compared to other games like Scarlet Blade the item-mall here is pretty much fair. But lacking.
The voices I liked the most were the charr and the Mad King(had more personality). Rest i’m not too sure about pretty much generic and forgettable.
Best way to chit-chat is through MAP channel. (oops double post)

Long as it’s PG-13 you should be fine.
For rest of gamers unsociable I am not sure where it started or if it’s always been that way. I’ve been gaming since NES Entertainment System and EverQuest when I was younger. My major MMO was Ragnarok Online so a lot of socializing, parties and guilds came from that.
GW2 is a game where the player can pace themselves or group together. It’s just finding the right group of people to play with that are fun! Stick in the muds are boring.
I’ve been soloing GW2 due mostly to taking the game at my own pace and leisure with the occasional grouping quest here and there. I’m not too big on guilds like I was before due to time management and the requirements of being constantly active(I like my freedom to explore the game without rushing through lol
).
I wouldn’t mind the ability to dye my character’s undergarments or add patterns to them or new undergarments.
It’s pretty boring that we all wear the same thing and it doesn’t match outfits.
I doubt any of these current gamers now ever heard of a game called Shadow-Bane. It was very much hard-core and not like GW2 in a way you could even build your own villages or burn down player villages.
It’s a sad thing that shouldn’t be happening in MMOs. Instead of being diverse and open-minded we have more people on games who are complete opposites who think gaming is for them, and themselves only.
Zaxan the current unruly ones in the MMO-Player base were hardly around back in the days of Ultima Online. Were online-games were more focused on fan-bases and the fans that played them.
It’s easy for anyone to be rude behind the PC but EU/NA is made up of many people of many different nationalities. These countries have plenty of people who speak spanish, french and other languages or come from different backgrounds and ethnicity. MMO’s should be no different in diversity and anyone who has a problem with it are just those who think haughty of themselves.
Don’t let them get to you. You are allowed to speak any language of your country just like anyone else who can play GW2. As long as their comments don’t boderline on racism feel free to ignore these immature and insecure player-types.

GW2 needs controller options too. I like playing this game but sometimes it hurts my wrist! Constantly moving the mouse plus running plus using the skill stats is awkward.
The camera should auto-follow the character which would make combat faster without having to constantly turn it around to see where i’m fighting or especially after dodging.
I’ve been used to console controls using all sorts of designs like GamePad Cub or Nintendo 64 or PS Controllers but for the PC the implementations aren’t what they should be.

Did the demon-summon booklet in the swamp got taken out? Before you were able to read the text and afterwards a demon form a portal would be summon.
Now the text is gone and the book can’t even be read! Did Arena.net remove this mini side-boss?
So basically all your doing is replacing the files from GW2 sound-clips with your own custom sound-clips.
Fair enough.
Couldn’t agree more. Glad they put things in the game that actually matter more than the voices.
Because what’s a game with good voices, and bad-play? I wish the female voices were more cute and the male more exuberant but I guess the bland voices are pretty standard in predominately western-made mmo’s (though GW2 itself is more a mix).
Exploring isn’t banable. I done this several times in console games in the past that I enjoyed playing. Finding new heights and scenery just by jumping around is all good.
Unless you get stuck in place!
I’m glad GW2 “end-game” doesn’t end with dungeon instances and enchant grinds unlike other mmo’s.
There really is no traditional “end-game” for GW2 in that sense, since at anytime a player can go do something else via event or exploration.
Just logged in today and opened up mail only to have 5 mailings from gold spammers!
I wonder if it would be possible for Arena.Net to start banning the bots using the words “www. w w w w cheap, gold, sell, pay USD” used all in one sentence that use the convince of the map chat for their advertisements too?
I would buy a fantasy bunny-suit in a heartbeat.
Controller Support.
Would help make combat smoother instead of the traditional mouse and keyboard using multiple keys at one time.
Nothing wrong with players having the ability and choice on choosing the style of the armors varieties out there.
If they want something more on the “Wild Party-Crowd” side, sure. If they want something on the “Nun Conservative” side, fine. Some of us actually enjoy the " WildParty Crowd" clothes much more than the mundane, boring and sometimes drag of clothes we’re cubicaled into by the real world.
We don’t want to be the overly-dress dorky secretaries or unattractive joe. We have the real world for that.
Often too much what has been happening to mmo is this constant drama lock pull of gender politic issues instead of taking the game as it is at face-value. A fantasy game meant for fun and play.
Hi have you guys tried using Microsoft IME?
OMG!
I thought my headphones were broken!!! That’s the SAME exact sound that I was experiencing and even after closing GW2 the beeping sound continued!
Had to turn off my headphones until it went away!
What is this annoying pop-up question?
I was in a area for abit doing quests from back to back daily events. Then this Chloe thing kept popping up even in the middle of battle! I couldn’t see the mini-boss since it popped up right in the middle and lingered around for some seconds (7?). So I died and my armor broke.
Answering it does nothing beneficial. There is no XP gain or rewards. The choice is always the top selection.
It would be nice if Arena.Net starts blocking certain words starting with “www.” and “cheap gold”
With the amount of cyber criminal activity increasing over the years on I think it’s strongly recommended that MMO websites give customers a choice as to whether or not they still want their card details held on an account.
Just as easy it is to click “save details” it should just be as easy to “remove details”. Even vendors such as Amazon.com allows customers to remove card info as well as other (and surprisingly) F2P mmo sites.
In fact F2P, B2P, P2P does not matter. A customer should be allowed to"unsave" or remove their personal detail from a game-site regardless of the payment method for said services.
Recent outbreak of gold-spam in-boxes? There’s no report feature in mailbox so I’ll put the picture here.
I noticed when opening a new tab in the chat window a message comes up that a report was submitted.
I opened another new tab and the message came up again.
