While leveling my ele, 1-70 was fun, fast, and I had a blast. But now at the endgame, I feel as though we are lacking. It is more difficult to walk around orr with my ele than say my necro or guard. Damage seems subpar. But as long as you’re not doing endgame content, its all good!

I started on DR. Its all I know. Ive never guested. Just thought it was normal to only see 1 or 2 other players a week…

Mine did the same thing. I didnt have any mf equipped. I double clicked on every thing in hero panel . That seemed to fix it

Yes. Wont let me log in at all keeps saying server connection error. Just got dc’ed in the middle of an invasion. Ill never get the achievment ;( guess ill go level an alt once I get back in

On forum home page where it says welcome! And under it says “Learn more” , Didnt take me anywhere. I even tried opening in new tab/browser. I just wanted to learn more . I know it will get worked out. You guys rock! Oh yeah not sure if it matters but I was already logged in and I am on a tablet.

D/d ele all the way

After playing around with all classes I settled on elementalist. Kind of a steep learning curve. But I loved every single second on my way to level 80. And I play a medium ranged ele with a tanky build. Pure awesomeness. Now im leveling a warrior. Not a bad learning curve, im am playing a ranged warrior with longbow and I have a GS incase things get hairy. Having a lot of fun. Next is a staff necro, although im not a huge fan of aoe’s

Sounds like it would work. Im currently running 0/10/0/30/30 with pvt gear and im pretty tanky with decent damage.

I agree OP. Way to much complaining. They should make us moderators so we can zap all of these blah blah blah whaaa whining my life sucks threads. They are non productive and have a negative impact on community morale. There is a difference between constructive feedback and suggestions than just complaining because the sky is the wrong shade of blue.

Thankyou all for the help! I have saved a lot of the karma consumables. So I wilk use them when I get a boost of some kind. And I had a feeling I shouldnt of bought yellow equiptment.

A few questions. Here I go. I had 22 gold when I hit 80, I bought all new rare armor, weapons, and trinkets including runes and signets. Cost was around 8 gold. Was that a mistake? Should I of saved the gold and bought cheaper blue or green armor? And I want power/vit/tough gear. Im playing a 0/10/0/30/30 d/d ele. Any advice on what direction to go with gear from here would be great! Also, thinking of getting karm gear I found on wiki. But I only have about 160k karma. What is a decent way of getting karma at 80+ . Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the feedback everyone and please keep it coming. Personally, I find that one of the hardest parts of being a desginer on GW2 Live is coming to terms with the fact that not every update will please every player. We do our best to deliver appealing content with enough variety to keep as many people as satisfied as possible. And If there’s one thing we can do consistently, it’s improving the experience of said content each time. I think we made some great strides with the Jubilee. I think we have a lot of room to keep growing. But our team isn’t done yet. We’ve got some exciting things coming later this month. Things you’ve never seen in this game before.

But in the mean time, please keep telling us what you’re thinking. We are listening. Not only to what you’re saying but also to what you’re not. The very first living world team actually did the thing some of you have called for. Some 40 or so permanent events were added around the game in our very first content update. They were met with little interest or fanfare. Granted, Halloween may have stolen the show. But those events are still in the game today. I’ve seen very little reaction to them, however, positive or negative. Despite this, there are many events I would still like to add. Many zones and bosses I would love to revisit. As we get better at the living world, I strongly suspect we’ll have room to get around to them as well. Assuming that’s what our players really want. You are all the second half of the collaborative process, so thanks for helping!

I think you guys are doing a great job. Ive had loads of fun with everything you’ve pumped out. Dont get discouraged with all of the negative comments!

Hello! Im fairly new to the game, in the last 6 weeks ive seen a lot of new content come and go. Ive been working hard to get my first character to level 80. My question is, am I going to miss out on all of these events if im not level 80? Im 65ish, but ive just been grinding hearts and events rushing to max level so I can participate in this cool stuff. Also, is there an in game tutorial I missed explaining everything? Im having to figure a lot of stuff out on my own.

Decked, you do realize you just broke several rules in your post because you are mad at something in a game didn’t go your way!? Wow, very offensive. I enjoy reading on these forums every day, but stuff like this makes me want to not read these forums. I come here to see what the devs say, to read on current events, and for helpful hints. I wish people would be more appreciative of this game. You get how many hours of entertainment for a relatively low price?
