Made some changes to my build, based on feedback I received on guildwars2guru.com, I’ve edited the links in my original post.

If you go for the other GM water trait you can drop cleansing fire for or the teleport cantrip or another signet, but that’s only when you’re not in a group of course.

I guess it depends on how valuable you see sharing auras & how often you’re grouped.

Sigil of Intelligence and Arcane Power not working as intended

As you can see i switch to Fire Attunement to get my sigil active, you see the “Buff” poping up next to the attunement icon
and the enemy is burning

Still, my Fire Grab “consumes” the 100% Crit chance buff and deals normal non-crit dmg

Arcane power therefor doesnt work at all

You had less then 75% hp the entire fight & you didn’t have arcane power on your bar so I don’t get how you want that to proc either.
For the sigil, yes it’s bugged sadly enough.

Thousand times yes… This same problem plagued LotRo for years and finally they decided to scale the dungeons for their version of story mode. The solution is preatty simple to be honest. Just give the player a special buff so he do the job of 5 players himself.

I would love to check the story mode of dungeons but I don’t want be pressed to hit SKIP TO END just because other people in the group don’t want to watch the cute scene…

You don’t know what you’re asking. Something like this kills the grouping, even if like the OP suggested only for story.
Once you implement it for story, people WILL ask for the same thing for explorer & if they cave in for this, they will most likely do it for that too.

Even if that doesn’t happen it destroys any hope of ever doing a story mode dungeon with 4-5 ever again simply because even the people that like doing it now won’t search for a group, because solo’ing is fast & easy anyways.

That might not seem bad for you, but really, it is. I’ve seen it happen in Lotro, gw, etc.
It basically kills of a very nice part of the community that won’t ever come back. In the end it does a lot more damage then good.

There are only a couple of instances, you don’t have to do story mode for all of them within a week, ask around in LA whenever you log in for 10 minutes or so, if you can’t find anyone, do something else & try another time. It won’t run off & you will find people for it eventually, especially once people get alts to run through them.

About that one player that would rush & demand you to rush through it, well, I’m sorry but you’re better off without him/her anyway, story or explorer if you’re a bit slower you won’t enjoy it with them & they won’t enjoy it with you. Ask friends to help, guildies, if they are a little bit nice they will help you, perhaps not the same day, but later that week perhaps, post on your fora, ask around in different maps, I don’t know, but you’ll get it done & have a lot of fun when you take your time for it.

(& if you really need a 5th, because someone just ditched you or it’s impossible to find one, you can send me a tell & I will try to help whenever I have the time. I enjoy the stories & dungeons, even without a huge reward. )

To be honest I can’t believe you even dare to ask for a refund after 3 months… but fora will always be fora I suppose.

I don’t know really, I hope I won’t meet such people, but so far it seems all good on our server.

I do every instance as soon as I get the mail, with a half guild/half pug group I make, & never have encountered this, story & explorer. We’ve only ever had one 80 & we had our fair share of wipes, normally about 3-4 each dungeon, story & explorer about the same strangely enough. But everyone just keeps having fun & tries to learn tactics & enjoys it …or so I hope at least! xD

1. Skill capping from elites.

2. HM, NM

3. Free teleporting

4. Changing “traits” whenever you’re in town

5. No monthly Fee

That said though, I really do love gw2, it still needs a whole lot of things added, but they should be coming with time.

I loved the event & the finale too! I thought it was great although the boss could’ve been a bit more difficult perhaps.
But yes, I love one time events & am very happy with this one! I hope we can see more of them in the future!

Way worse is that it doesn’t act as a propper leap finisher anymore… People are all raging over a bug fix that was bound to come but they don’t see this, while it is as bad as the rangers trap problem. This could also have been fixed in one night but now that their’s barely any reaction to it they probably don’t even know it yet!
You use it & it visually gives a fire aura, but we don’t get the fire aura status nor any buffs from it. :<

While fixing/trying to fix ‘Magnetic Grasp’ they did something wrong with the leap finisher ability so we don’t get a fire aura anymore.

I’m pretty sure 95% of the people completed it anyway, it started quite difficult but if you tried it for an hour or so it got really easy & you’d succeed almost all the time. You just had to endure that first little bit. (Which was still fun imho).

It took me a little while but it seems they made it a bit too easy anyway, everyone seems to be able to do it. Which I don’t mind at all but that’s not what was intended I believe.

Anyway, if you did it once you can make it into a good pumpkin farm if you’d want.

Since so many are saying everything is too hard & it seems like you actually want to adjust things like that then please listen to my side too…
I sadly find basically all the story quests too easy so far (Not just story quests but the game in general, although there are some fun encounters, that’s not what is being discussed here though). I only did Asura, Sylv & human but I can’t imagine the other 2 being that much worse.

I don’t have to kite for ages, I have not one heavy armour class & I play both melee & ranged. Yes, I occasionally get downed, however I time it so I manage to get up in a second & really dying with any character does almost never happen & if it does it’s mostly because I made a mistake or did something silly.

Just my take on it.

She’s a strong-willed thief, she sometimes shows signs of arrogance but she does care for the people she loves & is quick to help a total stranger.
However she doesn’t talk too much and stays in the shadows just like a thief would do. She’s still in her early 20’s and even though she tries to hide her emotions they often get the betterhand of her.

I’ve pretty fast internet so it hasn’t ever taken me longer then the ‘5-second auto log in’ but I really can’t imagine that this would be a problem.

If it really would be then you might want to consider getting a better isp because even mobile net is more then fast enough to download this in no time.

& well, regular mobs in good raids are more often then not pretty tough, I’ve seen quite some raids in different games were they a raid had a few easier bosses then trash.

That’s just what makes it fun to get through. :>
