Alpharius [Alph] is looking for new recruits!
Overview:
- Server: Gandara.
- Major membership countries: UK, Australia, EU, Chile.
- Membership type: Mature.
- Peak activity: Evenings (8pm+) UK time and Australia time; plus weekends.
- Guild language: English (exclusively).
- Game modes: WvW (regularly, incl. EotM), PvE (regularly, incl. dungeon runs), PvP (occasional only).
- Size: Modest (circa 100 members as of Sept2014).
Why join?:
- Mature membership and no drama policy: All members are required to have and display a mature attitude and behaviour – this does not correlate with a specific age limit. Please be aware that many (probably the majority!) of our members are older gamers, and many have family responsibilities. Our playing time is tight and we don’t want to spend it resolving conflict. Hence social fit with our guild and philosophy is a principle concern.
- Not a number: You don’t want a large anonymous guild, but one where people get to know each other, regularly play with each other and have mutual respect for each other.
- You have your own bank guild: We require majority representation, but if you have your own “bank style” guild or alternative guild for none-peak Alph playing times, then no worries!
- You have limited playing time: You might be casual, or serious. You might play daily, or only once every so often. That’s fine with us.
What [Alph] offers:
- Dedicated guild Voice Server: We have a dedicated Ventrilo server for guild mates to use. It is not mandatory though. And for WvW, we frequently use the Gandara TS3 as well.
- Coaching and advice: Many of our members have a large WvW rank and Achievement Point total (including in the top 50 of all Gandara). Collectively, we can advise new members on almost every aspect of the game and we’re happy to have players new to the game on board with us.
- No elitism: We’re not going to force you to play a certain class or a certain sub-build of a class for our raids. We will never hold “trials” to see if you have the right amount of dps or stand in the right location for a particular dungeon or to place some siege in WvW. But we can advise you (as above) and help you hone your (and our group’s) tactics and stratagems.
- Guild bonuses: We try to keep +10% magic find active at all times and we place banners on occasion for our guild activities and our allies.
- Friendly, happy, collegiate and supportive environment
- Guild forums: hosted by enjoin, including restricted sections to share WvW builds, strategies and tactics, achievement point hunting guides, etc.
Contacts for recruitment / Guild Leadership:
Feel free to message or whisper any of us in-game for a guild invite if you feel our guild and philosophy is for you:
- PebbleMaster.4012 (main character: Mido Ichi);
- dopeko.5694 (main character: Tigris Code);
- Finale.8960 (main character: Wild Kai);
- Tyrotoxism.6238 (main character: Forn Bombadil)
(if you don’t get a response within 24hr within the game, pls message another guild leader — we all have real life commitments or have to travel due to work, and, shock-horror, even take holidays!)

No need for a hacking report option as hacking does not exist according to Anet.
This. Despite evidence to the contrary, ANet still refuses to allow even the mention of the word “hacks” on the forums. This thread will be locked, despite the fact that OP is only asking a perfectly legitimate question because that question would be an acknowledgement of hacking.
ANet, let us report hackers, and let us get proof for you. This is a win/win. The players get to see you guys helping us out, which makes us think your doing something right and will probably increase sales for you. By basically cutting off the player’s tongues when hacks are mentioned, you basically tell us that you dont want to admit to there being hacks. Heres the blatant truth; its very very hard to make a game that isnt susceptible to hackers. There is no shame in having a few hacks emerge now and then. The shame comes when you turn a blind eye to it and allow it to occur. And when we report the hackers, you get to see what the loopholes they are abusing are. You can then fix these, can keep them fixed for future games.
Heres a compromise. Make a new section, dedicated to reporting hackers. Players can post there with video and/or screenshot proof of a player hacking. ANet then can have a few employees every day sift through the reports, figure what is hacks, and REPLY (that is the biggest part of it). And to prevent flame, just institute a warning system. If a player reports a specific player with no proof, give em a warning. If they do it again, just punish them for starting flame.
This issue is easy enough to fix. All you guys at ANet have to do is step up and acknowledge that there are issues, but you can make an effort to fix them. Making an effort, even if you arent successful, would honestly bring me a lot of hope for the future of this game, and Im sure others feel the same.

Who we are
Our principle foci are currently WvW (both hardcore and casual) and PvE play, but conversely little PvP and no appreciable GvG.
In short, we are a mature small to modest-sized Australian-British/EU guild.
But note that the word “mature” does not refer to age or a licence to treat people poorly/tell dirty jokes. On the contrary: we are only interested in players who conduct themselves well and will be a positive reinforcement to guildmates. This means we treat guildmates with respect and don’t berate or swear at them and have no tolerance for discriminatory language. This maturity policy is a core, non-negotiable part of being in our guild.
Members come from diverse backgrounds: Ph.D. educated professionals, lawyer interns, undergraduate students and a variety of others. Guild chat can, and has, featured diverse discussion on the 2nd law of thermodynamics through to swimming and beyond. Many members have families and real life responsibilities — we know what this can mean for your playing time and respect it.
We have members ranging from casual and occasional, to frequent and experienced, from folks just starting out, to higher levels.
Guild organization
We have several co-leaders, all of whom are happy to speak to you about recruitment.
Promotion through our ranks is dependant on your behaviour and not on your main character’s level, or set of exotic equipment: whether you’ve been active in guildchat helping answering questions, whether you’ve actively helped your guildmates out in PvE and WvW, and how much you’ve supported the guild over time will all be taken in to account.
We coordinate using both Ventrilo in game and our guild website: alpharius.enjin.com at other times to plan events.
When we play
Usually around UK peak times (evening of UTC+0hr; weekends) and Australian peak times (evenings of UTC+10hr; weekends).
WvW Specific Information
In WvW, we often run with (and command in) the main zerg in borderlands and EB, but our specialism is guerrilla tactics deep inside enemy territory and small group/guild synergy havoc teams plus roaming. We’re currently looking for:
- New players. We are only too happy to show new WvW players around. If you’re mainly a PvE players and would like an introduction to WvW, please contact us.
- Players from higher tiers looking for something other than zergs. We’d like to learn from you, and we’d like to share some of our knowledge about how we fight in outnumbered situations.
- Players of all classes willing to learn and adapt our guerrilla tactics and small team havoc style. This means mature players who realize that even if we get wiped-out we have served our purpose by splitting and diverting the enemy zerg.
We currently use a Ventrilo server to coordinate in WvW. We encourage new members to use it, but we acknowledge that some players prefer to simply listen and follow, rather than speak all the time. We expect mature behaviour on our WvW channel, as we do in guildchat. We also our guild website to discuss WvW builds (etc.), and develop strategies and tactics.
PvE Specific Information
We’re after:
*higher PvE levels for Dungeoneering (and other end game content: dragons, etc.), and those who are willing to help and give advice and guidance to lower level characters across the playing map, including meta events (Behemoth, Dragons, etc.).
*lower PvE levels (both newbies and alternate characters) to adventure with other guildmates, do personal story elements, map hearts, skill points, vistas, group events, living story elements in living stories, and be sociable.
Requirements
If you’re interested in joining us, please be aware we require:
1) Representation: except for your own one-person flavour guild for banking, we expect representation.
2) Mature acting (regardless of actual age): no dramas, no hate speech, no cursing guild mates (etc.). Many of us have limited play time due to (e.g.) children and don’t want to spend valuable time resolving conflict.
Contact us
If after reading this and our background information you feel our guild and philosophy is for you, then please feel free to whisper or message (either here or in game) myself or the co-leaders for an invite. If you don’t hear anything within 48hr, please contact a different leader (all of us have real life commitments or have to travel due to work, and, shock-horror, even take holidays!).
Best regards on behalf of the Alpharius leadership,

starting my list
1-We’ll never get guild commander hat
2- Pug commanders do work and efforts and carry servers more than guilds
3- Bandwagon servers will always fall apart no matter what (kain-Db-ioj-Sbi)
4-WvW makes you more gold than PVE
5-“We only want Fights” “And only Fights” statemnt by a lot of people is a lie (SOR)
6-Anet (PVE>PVE>PVE>PVE>Spvp>dungons>scarlet>quaggans>WvW)
To the devs who worked on Taimi, who wrote her and created and animated her model:
I want to thank you for Taimi. I live with multiple sclerosis, and while I was only diagnosed a handful of years ago and am looking forward to a future where I won’t be trapped in my own body, I value characters like Taimi more than you can know.
My greatest trouble spots are my legs, specifically the joints in my hips and knees. There are days that I wake up and I can’t get out of bed. I’m young (in my 20s) and I walk with a cane and have a handicapped tag for my car – and I get nasty looks from people all the time because I’m young and, clearly, I shouldn’t need a cane or a handicapped space. I’ll never forget the day a pregnant woman berated me outside a grocery store for taking the handicapped space she wanted.
When I play games, it’s usually as an escape. I like to imagine that I’m the perfectly healthy Commander Shepard, or some outrageously good looking Final Fantasy character on a quest to save the world with magic. Games take me out of my situation and, for a little while, allow me to be someone else. Maybe this is why I play a hyper-mobile d/d Elementalist.
But when you introduced Taimi, I was overjoyed. I didn’t play the Marionette weapon testing update, so I didn’t see Taimi until just recently when I was mucking around the refugee camp in Gendarran. The friend I was playing with pointed her out, and I think I shrieked loud enough to wake the dead.
I don’t know where you’re going with Taimi. But honestly I don’t care. Because now, in Tyria, I can imagine having a giant golem cart me around when I can’t feel my legs or when they hurt too badly to walk. Now when I get derisive or pitying looks, I can take a minute to imagine I’m sitting on a golem’s shoulder like a complete kitten.
So thank you for thinking of people like me. Thank you for thinking about how someone with a disability might get along in your world. And thank you for making her awesome.
Christina
PS Since I’m incapable of fanart of any kind to show my appreciation, I bake. If your office would like to receive a tupperware full of cookies, I’d like to bake them for you as a thank you.

I’m jumping the gun a bit on this, as I actually still need to get another 20 World Ranks to finish the meta achievement, but that’s ok because I’ll get those just by playing normally.
Which is something I didn’t expect to be saying a month ago.
A month ago I’d never played World vs. World. I’d only entered the map 5 times (twice to do the EB puzzle for Living Story achievements, 3 times for the laurel/badge vendor). It wasn’t that I’d intended to avoid it, I’d liked the idea since I first heard about it but I kept finding “reasons” not to start playing – during the betas I wanted to focus on testing characters, then I wanted to learn the basics, get to 80, do dungeons, do the Living Story…by that point I’d started thinking I shouldn’t try because everyone else would be better than me and I’d just be in the way.
Then I found out the Season 1 meta achievement awards a mini Dolyak and all my excuses evaporated.
I’m not sure what it says about me that I’ll do almost anything to get minis but it’s not the first time I’ve been glad something has pushed me to try things I’d normally not do, and it probably won’t be the last. I don’t know why it took me so long to start but now I have it’s definitely something I’ll be sticking with.
Of course at first I did have no idea what I was doing. I started off with exploring the map and capping ruins just because it was something I could do solo, then running with the zerg and hoping no one would notice I didn’t know what to do.
I have to admit it did surprise me how nice everyone was. I decided early on to swallow my pride, admit I was new and ask if I didn’t understand and every time I asked a stupid question in /map like ‘Why shouldn’t we attack the door when it’s being rammed?’ or ‘Why are we taking a camp without taking the towers in front of it first?’ I got at least one helpful answer (and no one giving me a hard time), which both helped me learn and made me feel a lot more positive about playing WvW.
I think I’ve gotten a lot better now. I’ve definitely learned a lot, I’ve decided I like borderlands more than EB and prefer the enemy borderlands (taking their garrison is a great feeling), I’ve learned I can take camps solo and have some idea of when that’s more useful than running with a group. I’ve got a rough build worked out.
I put veteran in inverted commas in the title because in spite of having (almost) earned the Season 1 Veteran title I think it’d be hilarious to take that seriously. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’ve loved the experience so far and I’m really looking forward to playing a lot more WvW in future.
I know there’s been mixed reactions to the Season 1 achievements and the fact that it’s drawn a lot of PvE’ers into WvW, but I also know there’s been threads every so often from people wishing more people would play WvW, properly, and wanting to know what it’d take to get them to start. I can’t speak for everyone else but I can say this approach has had at least one success, and I’d be surprised if I was the only one.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Wrong FC is going to kick DH’s butt in NA week 5.
just watch.
Gold League
Augury Rock (1 point); Jade Sea (5 points); Kodash (3 points)
Riverside (1 point); Piken Square (3 points); Seafarer’s Rest (5 points)
Elona Reach (1 point); Baruch Bay (3 points); Vizunah Square (5 points)
I agree with AR(1)-JS(5)-KO(3)
RS(1)-PS(3 or 5)-SFR could be won by SFR or PS, probably depends only on which one is attacked more by RS.
I hope and think:
ER(3)-BB(1)-Vizu(5), because BB cannot make many points during BBs prime-time (i.e. after 2am) as Vizu will take the night points and BB without night points will loose.
(edited by Dayra.7405)
Who are you putting on 2nd place then? I really can’t see anyone except Piken or SFR taking 2nd place.
You’re right, only PS and SFR can be 2nd., the most possible outcomes are 2 I think :
1)
1st. VS
2nd. SFR and PS
3rd. JS
2)
1st. VS
2nd. SFR
3rd. JS
JS will face only SFR in the next upcoming weeks, so the 3rd. place is assured, PS need to repeat the performance of the first week or beat on of the two colossus, otherwise it will end up 4th.
I think end of the 1st season in EU silver will looks like this:
EU Silver League:
1st – Desolation
2nd – Abaddon’s Mouth – Gandara
3rd – ?
4th – Aurora Glade
5th – Miller’s Sound – Far Shiverpeaks – Fort Ranik
6th – ?
7th – ?
8th – Gunnar’s Hold
9th – Underworld
I hope fight for 5th place will be quite intensive , and here I wish to say good luck to MS and FR and have nice fights ….
I would not count JQ out of 1st in gold league just yet. We have a lot of fight in this server.
The next three weeks will put you guys to the test. You’d have to beat BG next week and place above BG the last week to win. You also will have to win against TC and SoR next week while BG has their bi-week.
So it’s possible but BG just has much better odds at the moment.
@Sigmar, appreciate your commander log! I have read it all, dont know if thats a good thing but I enjoyed it.
All alone in space and time.
There’s nothing here but whats here is mine.
Don’t go pve mobs one by one. This is the one area ranger is good in, and thus will not look underpowered into. Go zerg wvw or hard hitting boss (dungeons, balthazar shrine boss). Then you will know how bad ranger mechanic is.
When will ascended powercreep scale with pets?
When will ranger sword skill 2+3 be instant cast and instant evades? Cause now they are to slow to dodge the ongoing aoe/attack.
When will gs auto attack be boosted? It doens’t have to be much, but 10%-20% would be a great deal in making ranger more viable in melee.
When will all the Shortbow nerfs, be reviewed again to conclude, you went to far. The weapon is subpar now.
When will pet skills response as fast as player skills? That means a fraction of time after you press the button (now it takes 2-10 secs, depending on how luckey you are).
When will grandmaster, master traits, boosting a weapon/utility skills, be moved to lower tiers, like it’s with other profs, to open up more builds with ranger?
When will rangers have sufficient condition removal? Warrior had only one weakness (conditions) and you totally bandaged it with, dogged march, cleansing ire and berserker stance boosts. If such a strong profession deserves band aid of their achilles heel (weakness), then ranger deserve so too.
When will traps hit 5 players? poison trap for sure doesn’t.
When will you make signet of wild a viable passive heal, (without cleric gear). now 61 hp/s is laugable. The engi ‘when use kit you are healed’, soothing mist (ele), guard virtue, adrenal health, they are all much much better. 100 hp/s is least. But since this eats up a valuable skill slot (more important then trait slots), i think base should be 125-150.
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.
(edited by Phoebe Ascension.8437)
For PvErs that have just jumped into WvW, it is definitely a useful guide.
Some fights yeah, but this matchup is typical what’s wrong with the server matchup. Just look at the numbers those germans throw in, on top of their 3 stacks of bloodlust most of the time.
Still we beat the crap out of both zergs of dzg and arb at the same time. =)
I’m really sorry for the zerging/blobbing that my Server is doing now, and i know quite a few people in our WvW Playerbase that share this view as well. For the last seven weeks our server had like 15-20 people on a map if we were lucky (sometimes this number was responsible for all four WvW maps), and even Underworld and Far Shiverpeaks (which were the closest thing we got to a fair matchup) would usually field much bigger numbers, running around with 35-40+ at times on multiple fronts – sometimes it was hard to make the distance between the EB spawn and our keep without encountering some huge blobb waiting for players. The last week was – at least until thursday – even emptier: rank 20 Dzagonur vs rank 10 Abaddon vs rank 9 Augury Rock – defending the mainkeep against the usual 40/50(and more)ish Zergs of both Abaddon and Augury (their rather fought on our territory than on their own, probably for easier ppt) with up to 10 people (granted, one time we haven had 20ish, which was really refreshing for us) from us for hours was really annoying.
The Big problem for this Matchup are all the fair weather players from dzagonur, that came crawling out of their holes as soon as the new matchup had been determined :/ Honestly, were have all those players been during the last 7 weeks when we needed them? Probably farming champions somewhere in Frostgorge Sound… or Queensdale (-_-‘). The unusual high amount of “can we pls take Keep XYZ now pllllzz i need it for my 100% completion” requests within the mapchat so far makes me cringe inwardly, and i’am definitely not the only one here feeling like that.
Well, at least the high concentration of PvlEechers led to one amusing action on reset night One of our players was fed up with all the turned-WvW-PvE-Champ-Farmers (does this count as a word ô_o?), turned his commander tag on, and led all the Karmatrain-zerglings directly into FoW’s Spawn on EB. He was hoping that all those PvEers would just die by the hands of your Legendary NPCs (and – more preferably – by your Players themselves), and sadly this even worked out almost exactly as intended – after all it’s pretty hard to notice invulnerability buffs on an enemy, if one does nothing but farm champions 24/7.
What also bugs me is Dzagos use of Golems in this matchup. I like the idea of Golems when they are used by the underpopulated Forces (or simply small groups, which are much smaller than the average zerg size within the specific matchup), since it is kind of the only reliable way for small groups to break into keeps in time, before they get steamrolled by some 40/50/60 man blobb monstrosity. When we played against Ab/Aug, they rarely managed to break our 10 man defense, but after some hours of embarassing losses, they would always (augury in this case, not abaddon) come with at least 3 Omegas + 5-7 Alphas, which pretty much broke our Mainkeep every single time. I found this “tactic” cheap then, and i still find it cheap. When i saw a Dzagonur group running around on FoW Bordlerlands with an Omega, i was like “wtf?! seriously!?” – we do already greatly outnumber FoW, and using Omegas …. well, “overkill” doesn’t even describe it.
If the odds stay the same as they do now, i will continue to play almost neutrally for this matchup (just as i did since 0:00), which means playing normal on Dzagos Homelands and our Third on EB (fighting, defending, scouting, warning the commander, etc.), and just passively watching whenever i’am on FoW/Arb Tterritory. So if you see a [SoC] thief on a dzagonur-owned keep on your territory (for example while you’re trying to retake it), you may just ignore me as if i weren’t there, since i will neither tell anyone about your presence, nor do anything to defend it. Ofc course you can attack me as well, but that would be probably be a waste of cooldowns in this case – catching a thief that doesn’t intend to fight is kind of bothersome, after all.
[Edit: i play a male human thief with black armor (yup, 08/15) and white arm protectors – just to prevent confusions with other SoC thieves, which are mostly Asurans i think]
Anyway, i hope this week won’t be as bad to FoW and Arbor as it will over the weekend. Don’t let the mindless blobbs discourage you
(edited by phirefox.2568)
BP only wins because we Zerg, not like Ehmry who never ever uses zergs. Also, only BP uses Arrow Carts. Ehmry is so awesome, they defend towers solely with their manly strength and courage, never once resorting to AC’s. This is the truth I have learned from our match up threads.
Maguuma
Greetings fellow rivals from Northern Shiverpeaks and Kaineng
I am a small representative from Borlis Pass from the guild [EDGE] part of a Collaboration of Guilds (C.O.G) which host to around 14 guilds within our community, and I wish to congratulate your effort and determination in our match up.
We understand that the match up is alittle one sided with us having superior numbers at the current moment, but we sincerely wish to extend our warmest regards to both your servers as we completely understand how you feel, as we have been on the receiving end of this type of match up as well, we hope there is no hard feelings as it is the luck of the draw on how our servers face off each other in the resets.
As such, we are extending our invitation to any guild from NSP and Kaineng that wish to consider a transfer over to Borlis Pass as well, we are a growing and friendly community and we would love to entertain any questions you might have if you do entertain a consideration to move here to our community.
Our server is very much alive and active in the WvW scene, with many large guilds leading the charge and small to medium sized guilds working in unison on the battlefield to achieve great feats, you will find that every guild no matter how small or how large is appreciated and treasured within our community. We also have had a host of transferred guilds from over servers before and we are very accepting to any who made the hard decision to transfer over here.
We of Borlis Pass, treasure independence and freedom above all else, and every guild and their opinion is respected, we have a very open door policy and we practice unity and harmony above all else. We do debate and sometimes with heated passion over the forums but you will find that at the end of the day, there is great joy to see the progress from our debates and the teamwork we pour to each other. There is a degree of trust and understanding within our community that we all want to grow, develop and succeed.
Please feel free to pm me here for additional information OR come visit the official Borlis Pass Community Forums, and start a thread there to enquire about us more if you have any intention of transferring. Be it a single roamer or a guild to a massive exodus, we wish to foster new bonds of friendship and comradity.

I don’t want to get involved with any of this in any sort of negative way, but Eva, I understand where you’re coming from but the attitude you approached Arch with was a little unnecessary and disrespectful. Understand that what arch is trying to do is for the better of BP and not trying to start some dictatorship and control everyone..
BP member here, having a really fun time thus far with our BFFs AR and this newfangled SBI group!
My experiences thus far…
Reset night: BP was locked and loaded, and I joined Eternal, thinking my favorite commander would be leading. Though was on the map, he had no intention of leading our larger zerg. We went around the map, collecting different places, and fighting back AR here and there. SBI seemed to be nowhere in sight. Swords went up, and one of our gates broke down. We dropped what we were doing (trying to take AR’s keep) to go protect our property… But when we arrived, all we came back to see was a busted down door. This happened a couple times, as your zerg was reported to our commanders, and we went to check it out.
And finally, we met your zerg in the field. A sea of deadly red fire ants. I haven’t seen such numbers! Our main group had to have been outnumbered by you, 3:1 at least! You wiped us clear off the map. More than once, too. “So,” I thought, “anyone with those kinds of numbers… they’re guaranteed to win.” But a mindless zerg, you were not. You were an infestation of people who turned on a DIME, pushing or pulling as they were commanded. It was quite the spectacle to be seen!
Last night I fought you again. I joined the fight in BP BL, as your fire ants amassed the southern island. Our commanders were great, and our people were responsive. But you guys… kudos. Again, you numbers are SO strong, and they only complement your strategy. We took note of what you were doing. SBI is very siege-oriented, and I hope our commanders on BP learn from that. You walked your siege towards our tower, and as soon as we got one piece of siege up, you tore it down. At one point you ripped down our wall, and came into our tower, up the stairs and moved away from the champion to build another AC. We were told to take that AC out, and as I ran toward it, I must have been hit by Fear 6-7 times! And it was an incredibly short run from where I was standing!!
You won, took our tower, and it was great. I had so much fun, and though we lost, our commanders did too, and made a point to reflect on what SBI did successfully so that we could learn from it.
Not long after, though less dramatic, some of us went to your BL, where we had a long back and forth near south hills. Again, you guys used siege to the best of your ability. The back and forth was really fun. We didn’t accomplish much (as in, we didn’t take anything or lose anything), but I personally learned and grew from the encounter. And, you know, the loot bags weren’t bad either
And AR! I haven’t fought you too much this week, but don’t think I’ve forgotten about you! Holy kitten you guys woke up! This is the old AR that I know and love. I’m glad that the endless BP/Ebay/AR fight (and transfers) didn’t keep you guys down in the dumps for too long. Great to see that old Rock-hard spirit back on the field.
A special shout out to the commanders on BP in TS though—you guys are, most of all, what makes WvW fun. Your positive attitudes, cheeriness, and superb commanding makes the game worthwhile.
tl;dr: Fun matchup is fun!

Hey we are a guild from a t8 server looking for a new place to call home. We were having some issues with our last server, and in hopes to find somewhere better suited to welcome a hardcore WvW guild such as ourselves. We currently have a playerbase of about 30 active members, 10 – 20 of which should be willing to transfer if u would like pls feel free to msg me for information
I’m surprised nobody from AR or SBI have posted here, is wvw dead? I’ve seen tons of SBI and AR but really where are all the forum peeps at? its lonely… -.-
… Brolis Rock brotherwood …
I just lmao’d. Looks like our previous Plans and Phases designation, “Brolis Rock”, just got an upgrade to “Brolis Rock Brotherwood”. Pending approval by the committee, of course ;-)
Seriously though, thanks Dorindon, that made my day!
PS I’m really looking forward to this week. I think this matchup will be a well-balanced and exciting affair. Good luck all!
They also know how to troll a forum…
Aww, you’re making us blush. But seriously, though we of course have some forum warriors, if that is NOT your thing you will be very happy in Borlis Pass. We are passionate about wvw, helpful to newcomers, and respectful to our opponents. We are growing and improving. If you want to be a part of that now is the time to make your move.

Oh wait, read Martin Firestorm, he says it better…
I gotta say, I am pretty impressed with our WVW streak this week. We have some really awesome commanders to keep us all organized. I think if we got more people on teamspeak we could be even more powerful.
Guys, get on teamspeak! Even if you don’t have a headset, at least put it on your speakers so you can hear what strategies are being discussed. It has totally changed WVW for me!
Coming from a server that is being dominated by BP this week. I have to say it has been fun against BP. They play smart in WvW and work well together as a server (or you seem to). And most have been nothing but respectful.
Their PvE I can’t speak for ( HoDs is a literal ghost town so it probably is an improvement) but from meeting some players from BP. I would say if you are looking to transfer, learn more about BP
