I think Warrior will get a “Soldier” specialization, giving them pistol off hand, and new trait line dealing with ranged mastery, giving new trait options for rifle as well.

If they are only releasing a few new legendaries, and likely ones that will be alternatives to silly ones, i would thing new pistol instead of quip, new focus instead of minstrel, and new shortbow instead of dreamer. They would definitely include at least one new option for each profession, and warrior likely wont be getting magical weapon like a focus, and if they got shortbow, they would have more ranged options than ranger and that’s not cool.

But sealing the deal is the fact that just like Trehearne wielding a greatsword as a necro since the original launch, RYTLOCK has been using a pistol offhand SINCE LAUNCH. Doubt they are going to move Rytlock over to revenant without at least giving us his original specialization, because he was an awesome warrior.

Not upset it is getting delayed, but if they just said “next week” or even “in 2 weeks” people would calm down even though it would be further than they would hope. Like running a race without knowing how far you have to go, it drives you crazy. Nobody is mad if you tell them it will be a long time, and you finish it early. It is the not saying anything about it at all that brings the aggro. I’m not personally mad, but I definitely understand the frustration of some.

lol yea, only on the character select, and stops when i minimize or close the client. I have a list set for that screen only, but it didnt work originally, and it had a completely different song on that playlist. this is music that i got maybe a couple weeks ago, months after I made the failed mainmenu playlist

for Kormir’s sake, I’ve been using TP since launch, and havn’t had issues with 1c outbidding enough to even think about bots. The TP is something that you simply need to actively pay attention to in order for this not to be a problem. Checking in once an hour is WAYYYYYYYYYY slow. You don’t need bots to be outbid in an hour. You have THOUSANDS of people using the TP, and it takes 1 second for someone to see your bid and raise it. 1c 1s or 1g doesn’t matter, just keep tabs on your bids and you’ll stay on top. The person who keeps tabs on their ebay bid is the one who wants it more, and 99% of the time is the one who gets it.

When I want to corner a market for flipping and someone else is actively bidding, I start raising by 1g each bid, eventually people back off because it isn’t worth it… they will just wait until I leave, or instabuy. It costs you NOTHING to just repost your offer other than your attention. Don’t just assume it is a bot!

Keeping the pop. cap high for the few servers in T1 is no better than lowering it for many other servers outside of T1. Half of the mechanics in WvW aren’t even used because it is blobs and flipping paper. If the unfairness is somehow fine because it is “war” then it should obey conditions of an actual war.

In actual war, it takes a MASSIVE amount of supply to maintain a large army, from rations, to ordinance, down to the very boots your troops wear through. There is an actual population cap when it comes down to it in real life, and when you exceed that cap, your troops starve, their equipment breaks, their ammo runs out.

There absolutely has to be some sort of diminishing return on having a massive number. If not a cap, like logic dictates, there should be some sort of debuff or equipment limitation increasing over time. If this is just a GAME, then balance the teams with a cap. If this is “WAR” then a massive MARCHING army should be weakened by hunger and barefoot from crossing the rough terrain.

“War” is not fair, but there are still natural laws that govern it. Honestly, I have no idea how to implement something other than a population cap, but if SUPPLY played a role in maintaining troop numbers, at least lower population servers could limit the amount of enemies to something reasonable.

Maybe If Supply had a base generated amount, and respawns consumed supply, a better army could actually whittle down the number of a larger, less skilled army. Supply camps would play a more important role, and would actually be defended, spreading people out more. Eotm supply drop would be more important as well.

As it is now, nobody cares about WvW outside of T1, blobs make the game unplayable for many, and the massive overpopulation makes lower pops not even care about trying. Even if the imbalance could be solved without a cap, I would STILL be in favor of it because more servers blobbing is just as lame.

Just give colours a 33.33% rng so colors rotating a bit more. It only affects EB as the borders are identical.

Yea, something like that would be cool, I guess it is difficult to ensure color changes because the matchups could change, but if it was random, it would at least change positions of everyone, and if the match up stays the same and only your enemies swap colors, at least they play differently, and your chances to capture those points would change! Maybe the server you were rolling ends up the color of the one that was rolling your server.

I like this idea, is there anything that could be negative from this change?

Seriously though, if you think you’re the first PvE bad to complain about wvw world comp you’re wrong, nothing is going to change, legendaries are supposed to be hard to get, so stop crying and get back into wvw and get that POI!

lol it isn’t that, I started ahead of time with wvw mapping because I remember waiting forever the last time. This isn’t hard, it is just tedious, and really really boring. <3

I felt the exact same way with having to run CoF so many times over and over. Or doing all the heart events.

And if WvW is “technically the mists”, please let mobs there drop ascended fractals materials, and fractals weapons, etcetc. Cause, you know, “its the mists”.

I get what you mean, but it is not exactly the same. You are talking about actually completing something repeatedly, like a grind. I wish I could just grind out a particular number of completed events or have to capture a particular number of camps/towers/garrisons! even if the number was absurdly high, at least it would be something I could actively work towards! I also feel like that would be more beneficial to my server.

WvW Gift of Battle should be worked on and added to, so that it is just as difficult or involved as the other components. I am not saying legendary making should be solely pve, just the mapping portion. I don’t want days-weeks of waiting to get a particular point, I want weeks of flipping areas, defending areas, killing, upgrading, sieging etc. maybe have successful events count. If I were able to flip the same tower or garrison over and over it would be just like PvE and even if it was tedious, I would be ok with it, because it would be up to me to progress. Does that make sense?

Also, not sure if you are kidding, but I actually do agree that WvW drops should include the ascended mats like mist globs etc. Fractal weaps I would leave for fractals, but all the “mists” materials would make sense to drop here

My suggestion to make both sides happy.

You currently get 2 Gifts of Exploration for Map Completion. Split Map Completion so there is now “Map Completion: Tyria” and “Map Completion: The Mists”. Completing map exploration for PvE gets you 1 Gift of Exploration. Completing map exploration for WvW gets you another 1 Gift of Exploration.

Problem solved. Those who don’t want to WvW for their Legendary don’t have to do so. Those who don’t want to PvE for their Legendary can stick to WvW/PvP.

Quite possibly the best idea I’ve heard on the subject.

Unintended consequence: The Mists Gift of Exploration is unreasonably easier to get (within one day or less) on many servers that enjoy consistent wins. Those servers’ members then receive a disproportionate number of those Gifts across all of their characters.

So: Nope.

Inb4 “they still get that benefit on always-winning servers.” No… those people still have to go complete all the PvE maps: even when they don’t want to, and just like you don’t want to help them in WvW.

Beside which, every time this thread comes up, it’s always given as if Gift of Exploration is the hardest part of Legendary Crafting. It isn’t, and especially so for WvW players.

That is a valid possibility, but very conditional. You can solo the PvE map completion. As you have stated, you would have to be on a particular server, and help/ be helped to easily complete it.

So no matter what server you are on, PvE completion is the same, regardless of tedium or desire to participate, it is fully up to you. WvW completion is different depending on what server, timezone, current matchup, current color, and in general other players. Regardless of its tedium or my desire to participate, I may or may not be able to get particular points for days or weeks.

Gift of Exploration may or may not be the most difficult part of legendary, depending on many conditions, I don’t think it is difficult, just misplaced in WvW.

Do you think maybe if it was unfogging the map, and completing events in a particular area, it would be more similar? Similar to how hearts work, completing events in a particular area, killing guards or dolyaks, defending successfully, taking successfully, rezzing guards, defending dolyaks, repairing, building siege, depending on what camp/tower/garri you are near fills a progress bar or something for that area.

Maybe fully flipping that camp/tower/garri could auto fill the bar? Do you think this would work at all?

Pretty fair, I’d say.

I get what you mean, and I agree, boredom is relative, so as far as tedium, it is similar. The difference is that you will never wait days, or weeks to reach a particular poi or complete a heart. Nothing, especially other players, will impede you from reaching your goal, it is 100% up to you.

Im not saying it is a problem of being in WvW the same amount, I just think it should be about actually playing WvW. As a WvW player, do you feel that map complete and Gift of Battle is a fair representation of having completed, or mastered WvW?

But map completion in general is kind of boring… To Chaba’s point, I have 90+% map on 2 characters because it was a fast way to level but dang if I wasn’t ecstatic the last time I finished queensdale.
Seriously though, have you really done everything for your legendary (or do you think you will) while enjoying every second of it? If the LI’s were fun to get (functionally fun, not this dungeon is awesome I’m glad I have to do it 30 more times fun) everyone with over 400 hours in game would have at least one. Then the value of it would be diminished and no one would care, so if you want the awesome weapon then you gotta “trudge through the sludge” to get it.

You make a very, very valid point. When I look at it that way, it causes about the same level of irritation as anything else lol.

My point isn’t that it should be easier or shorter, there would definitely need to be something difficult to take it’s place in WvW, but it should be something more suited to the game type.

Count me as one who went to wvw for completion and never left. The one thing I do think is odd is the lack of variation of pois / vistas on 3 maps that are the same. Why not move them around a bit?

Yea, I know that the names and starting points are different, but if they only required home borderlands map and EB it would be more reasonable.

Why should legendary making include PvE? (Ignoring for a moment that WvW is PvE in ANets so far view.)
Make it a WvW only task! WVW is the most effective Gold-sink in the game. Therefore it would make more sense to depend the most effektive Gold-collection task of the game more on WvW than on PvE.

I don’t fully understand what you are saying, if you are serious, can you maybe explain what you mean a bit more? I only mean that World Completion or Mapping should be a PvE task. I do NOT mean that Legendary making in general should be PvE only. There is no reason that WvW should not play a part in making one, I just feel that Map Completion is the wrong task to show WvW participation. You can do WvW 24/7 for weeks and never go to certain places on the map. You can map the entire mists and barely fight or help in any way. I just think there has to be a much better qualifier for WvW Legendary components.

Its to encourage players to go to wvw, I agree though they should make it easier for players to be able to map, basically just rotating colors every week would make a huge difference. Ive known people that havent been able to finish world completion because of one vista for weeks, even months, simply because the colors dont change. Thats just ridiculous.

I get that is what they are trying to do, but really, the people who come for mapping, aren’t WvWing. It puts me in WvW, but it doesn’t get me participating. I think the two goals end up conflicting more than anything. When I go to WvW to play, it is fun, but when I’m there mapping, I can’t do what I should be doing to benefit my server, or enjoy the gametype. Then when you finish mapping it, you are so burnt out that it makes you not feel like going back for a while :\

Then from the perspective of someone just there to play WvW, you have a bunch of randoms that aren’t there to help, they are just mapping. Granted, sometimes it will add a person or two for taking the one tower they need, but more often than not, they are busy running across map, to places that are irrelevant like the skill challenges/vistas near camps.

If they want to encourage ppl to WvW, I feel like the activity should be something different than mapping. Maybe a certain number of keeps/towers/camps captured, or cap/defense of SMC. I feel like THAT is participation. Not mapping. Gift of Battle should be more than just a number of tokens/rank, or it should be more difficult to compensate, and leave mapping to PvE maps.

That said, weekly color change would still shut me up :-p

1.WvW takes place in the mists. much like Heart of the mists, and Edge of the mists, it is NOT a part of the Tyrian continent and therefore has no reason lore-wise to be included in World Completion any more than Heart of the mists has.

2. Doing the EXACT same map three times is boring and stupid, and utterly pointless.

3.Enemy teams stopping you from reaching your poi’s makes you HATE other players, and goes against the core concept of not having your progression impeded by others. Whether waiting for allies to go for what you need, being killed or repelled by enemies, or waiting to change colors, ALL of it is waiting to have fun, and none of it is up to you.

4.Dilutes the purpose of WvW. There is no reason to tie in WvW in making a legendary, just like there was no need to include sPvP. If anything, the Gift of Battle already accomplishes that.

5.World Completion should be a PvE task. There are many things to see, people to talk to, and events to do in PvE. There are no npc’s or events in wvw other than the generic guards/lords, defend/take. In other words, there is really nothing to see in WvW other than WvW fighting itself. Visiting generic camps, and outposts with no history or relevance to the world is boring and unengaging.

6.There are no hearts in WvW, and no hearts in Drytop or Southsun. Adding the new areas that aren’t currently included in World Complete would compensate for the Poi’s, Vistas, and WP’s that would no longer be included from WvW. If borderlands are considered only ONE map repeated THREE times, the Poi/vista/wp count would end up being an equal trade.

7.PvE tyria is big enough on it’s own to cover World Completion, including WvW just doesn’t seem reasonable anymore. Maybe there is something I am overlooking, but I see no purpose for it. I am sure it would take work to change, but I think the amount of work would be incredibly small in comparison to the satisfaction the community would get.

A single dungeon with the depth and the difficulty of underworld/ fow or doa from GW1 would be enough to keep many players busy for months. But instead of we get some living story that you finish in one hour, and thats it.
The combat-system of GW2 is the best i ever played, and i dont understand why they waste it with their living story instead of giving us a challenging dungeon.

A dungeon along the lines of the Aetherblade path that is not done by people because you can do several other dungeons in the same length of time it takes to run this one path?

In my guild we do aetherpath almost every day.

But of course a dungeon that is longer and more difficult should give better rewards. In GW1 you got the obsidian armor and tormented weapons in these dungeons, rewards that were unique to them.

as someone who has had a Dream weapon drop from the end chest, I absolutely think the rewards are great for the level of difficulty. Problem is, with the rng most of you will have trouble getting one, BUT this is what makes the price so high, and in turn makes the drop value worth it. Basically I think people will think it sucks… until they get an “Of Dreams” drop… Then they think it is fantastic.

World Completion for non-alts

I’m going through world completion again for my third legendary, and what I constantly wish for, is that I was on my main! I have other level 80s, but I enjoy playing as my warrior main the most, but I’ve already done world complete with it before.

I think world completion makes up a MASSIVE majority of the content of GW2, and shows off it’s BEST attributes. I’ve been playing since launch, and even though some LS patches had us come back to old areas, It preoccupies you with completing that task, and other than massive changes like thorns and destruction of former places, you don’t look around much.

Going through world complete again, I am seeing SO much content and having awe moments at the massive and beautiful world structures, and seeing all the active quests and details and items that blew me away when I started playing, and I wouldn’t be seeing this if I weren’t playing through on an alt for world completion!

I think part of why people get so bored and end up in dungeons constantly, is because If you don’t like playing alts, and you are already level 80, and have put so much time into one main, you have 0 reason to go through the ENTIRE world and explore. LS updates can send you there, but it isn’t the same, as you b-line to the objective, and have no reason to wander.

Even if I got less of a reward, like only 1 Gift of Exploration, and maybe a title “Around the World and back” or something, I would still be 100% satisfied, as I would be able to play the character and profession that I actually want, and do the things that I need to continue to horizontally progress. The way it is now, I feel like I HAVE to play this alt that I am just so-so about, to get a Legendary that I am going to only use on my main (even though ac bound, I enjoy using it as my main!)

With Megaservers, Loot scaled to level, account MF etc. PvE has everything it needs to make repeating world complete on a main, a fun and productive option! Even if it’s just a heart reset, or an option like the LS Journal that toggles to show purple hearts!

We could even have a status buff that makes us take agony or increased damage on that map. GW1 Hard Mode basically did the exact same thing in reverse, it buffed all the mobs. We can’t do that here as it effects lower level people in open world, so instead, we can debuff ourselves, and it will increase the difficulty for US without effecting anyone else!

There has always been a focus on making it easy to alt, but there needs to be more options for people to MAIN! I think in the end it accomplishes the same goal, of getting more population dispersed, and adding replay-ability without needing to make a new character.

I’ve waited to LFG a working map for EVERY SINGLE step of this story. This is a repeated mistake from season 1 and the karka bullkitten. I don’t know what the people talking about “it’s fun when they use open world stuff when it works its great” It has never worked. Period. Literally, the last time they did this, it didn’t work, and it won’t work in the future. You can’t test this stuff, not on the level it will be implemented, stop doing it.

Just wanted to say, great patch. been running around with guildies in the new zone, and playing through the story content with them, and it brings me back to GW1 missions/bonuses.

The looks, the music, the abundance of voice acting, and the investigative method of story telling gets 2 thumbs up from me! Was with a guildy who missed season 1, and he actually got super creeped out when listening to Scarlet’s Holorecordings. lol I have to admit, i got a goosebump or two myself when she got all… “stereo”

So from the view of someone who has played all the content, and someone who is actually new to it, we both really enjoyed it.

The sandstorm is awesome, and the buried chests are a VERY nice touch. All in all just very rich content, small area, but there is SO much to do, and the story moves you around nicely. If each following update is as good as THIS I will be VERY happy.

I’m pretty ashamed of the GW2 community here on the forums, all I can see is demands.

Is it so unreasonable and crazy to have demands for the product you bought (the one at which you potentially still throw your hard earned RL money)?

i.e. You bought a new car, is it so unreasonable that you want its front lights to work? I don’t think it is.
Also, just FYI, if GW2 was a car, there would be more than just front lights not working at the moment… lately quite a few bad things were implemented and/or not fixed, it’s no suprise that quite a big part of community is unhappy.

You didn’t pay for the updates. You payed for the core game and core functions – which you have them enabled 24/7. And you don’t throw money at them. You buy things from them. That’s a different thing. You are not donating. You’re not giving them cash because you’re such a nice person. You’re giving it because you want something from the cash shop. It’s called shopping.

And the “big part of the community” is actually happy with how things are. It’s just that flamers tend to talk more.

Even console games like GTA online provide updates and bug fixes on a regular basis… Subscription=/=Service

Gem store page never loads

Gem store tab of trading post has not worked since patch… only loads a blank page. No promotions, no new items, can’t buy ANYTHING that costs gems. It is the only that tab is not loading, I can convert or buy gems, but can’t spend them…. and thus I won’t be spending money until this is fixed. Submitted a ticket, but wondering if I am the only one or if someone has solved this problem.

No matter what improvements or changes are added, it seems nothing can be done to address the high population of borderline cyber-bullies that berate and harass newer or less experienced players.

You can’t even be civil or ask questions, they just respond with things like “cuz u suck.” I’ve seen it happen to others, and it’s happened to me as well. Today, right after such a comment, I got an important call. Tried to leave match and couldn’t, I literally tried everything, and thought it was bugged….

Match ends, but harassment does not. spvp is the only game mode I’ve been where someone has gone out of their way to whisper hate and or ridicule to me after a game, as one of my teammates did after this one. Not for afking or trying to leave, but just general hate and how I should stay in pve.

I’m normally decent enough to carry my weight, and win more often than I lose, but on the off chance ANYTHING goes wrong, you get ripped on by kids with keyboards.

If I was a new player, and this were the first game mode I had played, this would have completely ruined it for me. If that were my impression of how the general player base was, I would cut my losses at $50 and pretty much quit. Fortunately it usually just ruins the spvp game mode for people, and there is always wvw/pve.

As someone who plays mostly pve/wvw, the spvp community makes the game mode feel like a completely separate game/community entirely. All of the changes, and new and returning players and reward tracks are all wasted on the sad minority of kittens that ruin the game mode for others.

Even if verbal abuse reports were more strictly enforced, and we lose some players because they were punished for violating, it would still be way better than hemorrhaging all the players they send away with all their ego rage.

Gotta say, your 3rd reason is my main reason. No matter the rewards, or incentives or improvements they add, there is one MAJOR thing that ruins the experience and that is the TOXIC members of the pvp community, that tend to be fairly common. In any other game type I could say it is RARE to have some kitten make fun of you or grief you publicly or privately, in spvp its like 25%-33% of any solo queue will have someone harassing someone. If I was a new player, it would ruin the game for me.

I still think any items in the game should be in the wardrobe, as if we consider every player, than any weapon or armors may be hard earned. I said and alot said, it’s impossible to satisfy everyone, enjoy the change. Conpensation could always be a more then appreciated gift for those that have duplicates, that is if ANet desired. I’d surely like my T3s refund, but I don’t want others to lose from this feature in exchange for myself.

This is not feudal Japan. In the end, a game is a paid service. Compensation is not a GIFT, they are completely different by definition. People are not LOSING this feature if not implemented, as it does not even exist yet. Any company operating on reasonable business ethics will take the concerns of customers seriously, as this results in better products, and continued business. This is not an issue of failing to satisfy, this is an issue of changes effecting consumers in a potentially negative way.

People are giving valid reasons as to why THIS change may not be the best way to address the ROOT problem, which is the purpose of change to begin with. This is why there is a feedback thread.If this change negatively effects even a small part of the player base, that does not make the issue any less important. Games and companies for that matter, don’t lose all their consumers at once, it happens in tiny chunks of “less important” people. Surely, if you just ignore concerns for the sake of progression, it will do much more harm than good.

It does not, all this would bring is advantages. Some people could have save gold by getting only one and skinning the second, but this change doesn’t have any negative feedback by itself. Some people’s ego is getting hurt, but that’s because of their pessimist perception of things.

In the first month of GW2 making karma was hell (only from events), people still managed to get 1mil karma necessary for their legendaries. Then everything started giving Karma (dailies, dungeons, FoTM) getting 1mil karma was a matter of days. So people who farmed events for weeks got screwed, but that didn’t mean the change to karma was bad.

Skins should be for yourself, not for bragging. You farmed, hunted or paid 2-3k for something you wanted on your character. Making it more accessible should make you happier since it’ll be easier for you to get more!

lol. thank you for making a statement fully supported by opinion only. Karma farming was diversified to stop people from event karma farming in orr, as that was the most efficient way at the time. Many people would call what you described, a nerf to orr farming vs the other way around.

Please read any posts or articles from Anet concerning the concept or ideas for legendary weapons, and feel free to link where it says anything remotely similar to your opinion of them not being for show or recognition.

I think why you see so many duplicate threads is because the searching, navigation, and overall organization of the forums is… not optimal.

99% of the time, I have no idea where to put a post, and when that happens I try to use search…. and that just never goes well.

I really don’t get why everyone is so upset. With the new system, some people get an advantage, some people don’t, but nobody get’s any disadvantages on their equipment compared to the way it was before.
And Legendaries really aren’t as prestigious as some people here seem to think. Do you really think that players that don’t own any Legendaries will stay still next to you for a few seconds and look up to you in admiration, respect and envy whenever you pass them by?
Right now there’s such a ridiculous amount of players with Legendaries in the game that it really isn’t anything that special at all.
When I started playing a year ago and saw a Twilight, I was like “Wow this thing looks really awesome” but now it’s just “Another Twilight… uhuh, oh, I’m gonna kill that Moa over there for my dailies”

Yes, actually, it literally happened yesterday. There are still people who are impressed by them.

Why would you take something so valuable, scoop out it’s insides and make it common? I understand accound bound legendaries, but infinite copies of it for all my alts has made having one a kitten joke. You are ruining the point and feel of even making one. This is not “Legendary” this is legendary becoming something as common as that gold star nobody notices for world complete. As common as the FDS that looked badazz until you realized everyone had one…. or two on.

Once again, like many people said, this won’t increase the amount of legendaries in-game, you still can only play character at a time and thus as far as I know have only 1 legendary, wether it is on your guardian or on your warrior, there still is only one at a time… Still won’t be a kitten joke… Gold star uncommon, same thing with so much others and legendary will be acount bound anyway.

Your grammar makes this hard to understand, but from what I think you are trying to say, I don’t think you have fully considered the consequences. This changes it from, specific characters carrying legendaries, to specific ACCOUNTS having legendaries.

You know plenty of people that have legendaries, but you don’t know many that have legendaries on EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER.

Think about this carefully. I have a bolt, I know others with bolt, but I don’t see them because they play alts, and when I play an alt, you don’t see or know I even have one. After this change, ALL of us, who have bolt, will have bolt on ALL of our alts, you will see mine ALL of the time. I have 5 full characters, as it is, if I play them all, you see my bolt 1/5th or only 20% of the time, and you already see them all the time.

disregarding the cheesiness of having dual bolts when I havn’t earned them, and making a mockery of people who I respect for having earned two of them, the impact and value of the weapon dies because I now have 5 times the amount of characters who have one. You WILL see legendaries a lot more, and when you see that everybody has something, you desire it less and less and less. Funny, I went with bolt because everyone had sunrise/twilight, now everyone has everything.

I’m sorry, I feel like they are killing progression a bit with the ASCENDED account bound change. Legendary makes sense, but making ascended armor ac bound is something that I never EVER wanted… Too much kitten is account bound, skins are one thing, but come on, it really has to stop somewhere. Legendary armor or trinkets would make sense to be ac bound, but why make the HORDE of ascended rings, amulets, and trinkets that sit on my mule even less necessary?

People have asked for the legendary account change, but I havn’t heard anyone looking for ascended account changes as well..

Ascended gear is the ONLY horizontal progression we have on gear. This change won’t eliminate gear end game, but it makes it incredibly short-lived, and completely non-existent for my alts. Now I literally have NOTHING to do on any of my alts that are already 80. Other than personal story?

Sory but not everyone see it your way. For many of us ascended gear is pain to create. Extremely grindy…too many farming. It was hard enought to make one sat for one character. Now there is much less of this grind.

I’m sure they don’t. but when you have that set…. you are done. It is not “much less grind” it is the same grind, then a full stop.

It is less grind. I just don’t have to grind more becouse of alts. I can just move gear from one character to another.

Actually adding in a way to salvage, exchange, or do anything with the DOZENS of duplicate ascended rings I have would be a better move. I feel like Sauron with all these rings, I don’t need to move them from my main, I have 3 others taking up space in my bank and my mule….

Refund on Existing Outfits

If I can’t get a refund, can I get the ability to just gift all my crap away? I really, with all my heart, do not want a single piece of town clothes in my account anymore. You can make this change, that’s fine if other people WANT it, vs just accusing people who are effected by it of QQing or being ungrateful (which is comical, stop treating this company like a singular, living entity, or some god that has given and can take away, because it has been so good to us)

What I am saying is that making this change, makes these items and sets that I’ve bought into something that I just really would have no interest in owning, as they are distasteful to me as a whole. Had I looked at them as a full set, I would have decided NOT to purchase them.

If folks wan’t to say," too bad, so sad, they have the right to blah blah" I just really don’t feel like arguing or explaining why this is unfair TO ME, against blind, and baseless defense of something that seems not to even effect them.

So if I can’t get my gems back (shame on you) then I would like to be able to gift these virtual items that have not be damaged or changed in any way by me, to someone who will actually wear and enjoy them, because I truly will not.
