Same here, am on Underworld aswell. Party members don’t show up correctly, Fractals is buggy (can’t join), mail is acting weird.
1. Yes, I doubt that there will be people playing in full zerker armor. I won’t be doing it anymore, because I run level 35+ fractals.
2. I’m thinking about going P/V/T gear now, along with knight/berzeker accesoires (depends on sustain with just P/V/T gear) and 10/30/30/0/0 or 10/30/0/30 traits. Will do some theorycrafting later to see which is the best solution. I’m not really that good in creating builds, so I will definately keep a close eye on the forums to see what builds other people create.
3. No idea really, probably precision/crit food.
Personally I hate this patch already. Even with all the fixes and polish they did to various parts of the game, I’m sad about the food changes. Last week I was still running like a mainstream dude with a GS Sonic Boon build and it started to get really, really boring. So I tried out Axe/Axe with Omnom Ghosts. It was so..much..fun! And now I’m forced to revert to another build already. Full zerker: nope. Sonic Boon: lame and boring. What else which is viable for end-game content? (Fractals 30-40+)
Well to be honest healing up to 17k over 3.5s on a Warrior was pretty OP.
It was, which is why it should of had a limit to how much it could heal per second, not an internal CD.
A cooldown is a limit on its healing per second. Take the healing proc over the seconds of cooldown time. That’s your maximum heal/sec.
Not really, “You can only have 8 heals a second.” instead of an Internal Cooldown doesn’t nerf things as badly.
It leaves almost all the non-overpowered things viable and nerfs whirling axes and other OP things a bit.
What do you mean by not really, a CD is a limit on how much heal you can get per second…
AN internal cooldown…limits how many times you can get the proc off an aoe… which is bad.
…Your " You can only have 8 heal per second" will also affect AoEs….
Which is good for Melee cleaving.
Also, its a “2-second internal cooldown.” time to sell all the pies.
What does it change? They will just make it “You can only have 4 heal per second” if they go with your way….
It makes a lot of things viable that way without completely destroying it like they did.

I will explain to you how it is different, since your mind cannot reasonably comprehend it.
“2-Second Internal Cooldown” this means it can only proc once, then wait 2 seconds, then it can proc again.
“Can heal 8 times every 2 seconds.” this means it can heal 8 times, if you don’t heal enough, it refreshes the charges and you can heal 8 times again, this nerfs overpowered moves like Whirling Axe, but makes other things that procced from it almost no change.
If you can’t understand that, then there isn’t anything else I can say.
I wish they should have done that instead of this horrible nerf. Time to switch builds again.. kitten /p>
This is really sad. One of our sustain ‘abilities’ has been nerfed to the ground. And nothing to compensate that? They should have given us changes to traits so that they apply Vigor. I can dodge twice now and then I’m forced to switch to my ranged weapon…
Yeah HB is pretty hard to land in high-end content as mobs will either deal too much damage during the channel or move away from the radius so you can rarely land it fully.
Plus HB only deals more damage than Axe auto if you land the last hit.
On my char with 8 might HB deals 12k+4k final hit, Axe 6×2k… with 20+ might (which can be had on axe if you get sigil of strength) Axe deals 18k per full auto and HB 16k+6k final hit.
So ultimately it’s all down to landing that final hit that requires a mob to stand still 3.5s, which is hardly happening often.This is why I prefer Axe, it deals overall more DPS because you’re -always- hitting stuff and 2 skills out of 5 hit in a 360 radius which means I also hit mobs behind me that I wouldn’t otherwise hit.

Exactly! Too many people have a tunnel-vision when it comes to warriors; they only think about GS builds. I’m excited to try out this build next patch, Shouts + GS is starting to get really boring!
I am really interested in this build. I’m getting tired of my GS as being locked in place is required for a succesful HB. In higher level fractals (30+) it’s too hard to execute this succesfully without taking too much damage. The lifesteal is really interesting, I never played with it before.
I agree. The patch notes are really slim and every patch I come across fixes/changes that I did not read in the patch notes.
Probably because of the ‘On-Crit’ effects that are present in the game. If condition damage could crit, it would trigger the on-crit effects alot, which would be unfair to classes who don’t have much access to conditions. Besides, I would be able to keep up (for example) 25 stacks of Might with just a couple of stacks of bleeding.
This is a bug. Vials should NOT be dropping on level 10+. Globs are not dropping on level 20+, so vials shouldn’t be dropping either.

Sometimes I really have an annoying ‘issue’. When in a bossfight (for example, Champion Ettin in Uncategorized Fractal) it sometimes is really hard for me to see the animations of the boss. This is especially the case when there are 1 or 2 casters in the party who have heavy skill effects. As a warrior, being able to see the boss’ animation is critical to decide if whether I have to dodge the attack. This sometimes results in a death which could be avoided if I could properly see the animations.
My suggestion is, tone down the skill effects of certain skills or give us the opportunity to tone them down in the Options menu.

Happened to me aswell. Got teleported under Orr while doing a storyline quest and forced me to restart it.

What if they stay as a level 80 Legendary and if the expansion bumps the max level to say 85 and New Level 85 Legendaries are released?
They will not do that. They will always make legendaries the highest damage weapons. (on par with exotic or ascended weapons when they are released)

There isn’t. Ascended and exotic gear differ maybe 5%. Hell, rare gear is completely fine to run dungeons etc with.
Yes, I encountered this bug aswell while doing world exploration, it’s really annoying.
Yes. They didn’t work as intended (i.e. giving heavy/light armor) instead of gear that rangers can wear.
It’s intended to prevent trolls from kicking people at the boss and inviting their friends.
I agree with everything. It’s not just the price of precursors going up like hell, but everything. I think around the november patch, ecto price was something like.. 16 silver? Now its gone up to ~40 silver while it has been harder to get gold because of the november patch. The thing is, it’s really frustrating to play right now with the high prices and the loot problems the game is having.
10 laurels for 2 pieces of rare/exotic gear is overpriced and useless. Anyway, I think they will fix it next patch at the end of february.
well, i feel 200% more comfortable with my guardian with only melee weapons for 95% of the content. and that means; i die less.

trait for it, get some stamina, make it heal you, drink your protein shake, and youll realize melee are clearly not at “disadvantage”.
That is EXACTLY why melee are at disadvantage! If it means we need to trait for something in order to survive and consume special food, while ranged can just do whatever they want there clearly is something wrong with the balance between ranged and melee.

Let me guess: your own classes needs “some love” ? Or perhaps you need to practise ?-number of classes are bugged badly making certain builds unplayble at all.
Finished four 80’s and had almost no bugs. Feel free to enlighten me on these bugs ?- Increasing number of perma-stuck events.
There’s far less stuck events than at the game’s start, what’re you on about ?-Exploits in CM,Arah and etc.
Nothing I’ve run across, are you sure you weren’t looking for them ? (which is a bannable offense BTW)- The list is long and painful
No, it’s not, you have four items on it, and none of them makes much sense to me.
- Some classes only have 1 or 2 builds with weapon sets that fit with them in PvE.
- I agree, haven’t come across any game breaking class bugs.
- There are tons of exploits in dungeons/fractals, but I won’t go into detail on those. Especially CM has a few and Fractals aswell.
- The list sure is long.
But I agree and disagree. Sure, this game has just been released for 6 months. So what? They gave us a patch that fixed a couple of things the 28th of january and the next patch will be the end of february. I would expect a patch every week to fix issues in this stage of the game.
So yeah, I prefer quality over quantity, but don’t suffer from the illusion that every bug is being ignored. Bugs are being fixed by the team that fixes bugs. New content is designed by other teams.
Agreed. But there are some bugs that have been in the game since launch and that is just unacceptable in my opinion.
I agree completely. There are some really annoying bugs that have been there since launch and they still are not fixed, despite them being REALLY annoying.
For example:
- Bug when trying to pick up an item while walking, prevents player from pciking it up and keep walking
- Gap closers not working on certain bosses, hitbox is messed up and gap closers keep casting for their full duration while not actually hitting the boss
- Hit boxes on several objects, like the Burrows in Ascalonian Catacombs. I miss my auto attacks while my greatsword really hits the object.
- Alot of dungeon and Fractals of the Mists bugs. (CoF p2: Magg bugged at the bomb running event. Poison cloud not dissappearing while using the fan in Uncategorised Fractal)
And not even mentioning the HORRIBLE drops as of late.
The loot engine is this game is abysmal…there’s no other way to describe it. I do love the game, but the loot issues in the game are eventually going to drive me away.
Same. The game is awesome in many ways, yet it keeps frustrating me with the bugs introduced in every patch and the unrewarding dungeon runs. I mean, running Fractals of the Mists 34 barely gives me 1g. Not worth the time at all..
This boss is totally the opposite of how they designed/advertised this game. They said we could play any class, any build, any setup and still complete all content. And now they force us to gp with a 3 warrior/mesmer/guardian setup? Good job. I understand that all the people here who say this boss is easy think it’s easy. Because you play overpowered warriors. Go play this without a full zerker party.
The problem is that it is possible for 2 people to kick an ENTIRE party except for themselves. The design of the party-kick system is bad if it’s possible for 2 (trolling) persons to do so.

Scenario:
Me and 2 friends look for 2 additional people for a Fractals run. After minutes of searching we finally found 2 which seem to be 2 friends aswell. We went into Fractals and they were dying all the time, but that wasn’t a problem; it can happen and we got to the final fractal.
Then we’re at the final boss of the final fractal: Mossman. We’re fighting him and as soon as he’s at around 5% of his HP, I get kicked. I was like: what is going on? Then my other friend gets kicked. Then the other. The last one to get kicked saw the kick votes against my other friend and me, but declined both of them.
To sum it up:
3 people got kicked by the other 2 people in the party. How is it even possible that the minority of a party can kick the majority? It’s just insane that 2 trolling people can mess up an entire Fractal run and waste 1,5 hours.
