25 in AC, that’s the only one i can confirm

Crafting is worth a lot of XP (5 lvls worth per profession) and the mats are found easily. No reason i see not to do it.

But any other ones? Can tailors craft town clothes?

AC exploration mode option 2 is the easiest of the 2, I advise starting there

I notice it doesn’t do a whole lot of damage but it lasts forever, i always make sure i have a guardian with me for that remove condition aoe ground ability they have.

I think it will get better once people area actually that lvl and there are more people there. I think most people are still below the 50 mark

Binding “walk” to a key, and learning to use the mouse to walk forward as well, can really help out in jumping puzzles.

How many of us have “dodged” off a cliff while doing a jumping puzzle because we were using the keyboard.

Don’t know of any guides but to answer your question about switching abilites1-5 you cannot, those are based of the weapons in your hands. Stealth is a temporary ability in this game where you disappear for 3-10 seconds and reappear to continue the fight. While stealthed your slot 1 ability changes to an “ambush” ability which usually does a fair amount of damage but takes you out of stealth I.E “backstab”.
Stealth i find more of a way to hide for a bit while i wait for Cool Downs or my initiative to recharge and re position, or an escape mechanic.
Thief is by far my favorite class though

Just a dueling area would do, i dont want to be spammed walking into the city with duel requests. Give us an arena where people can enter and fight eachother.

Don’t pug AC at 30, get an expirianced (can’t spell and spell check didn’t save me) guide to show you the ropes and use vent/mumble with some friends the first time. And don’t expect to faceroll anything in there. (Its a good thing IMO)

What would be the point, free xp and loot for map completion?

If you want to kite with pistol use pistol/dagger.

I don’t think so, I’m giving advice.

I have a group AoE stealth i use, and a blinding bomb that stealth’s me and close allies as well. I use these to pick up fallen comrades.
The large Aoe I can get 2 people up while they are stealthed and the other only gives me time to half pick up someone.
If someone knows the exact names it would be appreciated.

Ac is considered very difficult for a first instance, and i think it is the learning curve on how the instances work. the mobs are lvl 30 and you being 23 will mean you will probably get 1 shot by some AoEs and i cant imagine doing Romeo and Juliet kittened one person.
Have them rush you through you personal story, that’s a lot of exp and will get you closer.

I have the same issue too especially in AC, maybe i don’t recognize the graphics well enough yet but countless times have i looked at a condition on the ground and been like hmmm was that cast by a friendly or is it cough Weeze nope cough not friendly.

Please stop attacking, it takes you out of stealth and stuff can agro to you again or we can get targeted by AoE and i cant pick you up safely.

Well actually there isn’t…

I can’t seem to find any gold nodes in the game. I went from silver to Platinum.
Any hints would help.

PS i have been going to the 35-45 areas and still am finding silver are very rarely a gold.

As far as for the cloth itself i haven’t found a good way to farm it besides DEing stuff off humanoids and hoping for some in the bags.

I have noticed if you log into the game on off hours the servers are no longer full. I think the full state it just determined by the current amount of players on the server. And yes the server transfer are free for a week i believe they said but i could be wrong.

What did you like to play in wow? Paladin? go guardian, Warrior go… well you get the idea.

That’s what i like about this game i think i count 5 different was (all viable) to deal with a situation

I have seen a few of these posts and sure i found some of them difficult but as a human thief/missing parents i was able to complete each one solo (albeit some took more then 1 try)
Also maybe using DW daggers would help, Death Blossom counts as both an attack and an evade.

Oh steal on CD, i love getting that ax Whirlwind ability and wrecking any mob i come across

I don’t mind it in the cities, (use to WoW i guess) but out in the zones it gets annoying.

I’m finding my survivability to be pretty decent, but two+ mobs can present a challenge.
My main points:
-don’t go all power. I have at least 1/2 my gear with +toughness/vitality
-I use dual daggers.
-I start with Heartseeker, follow up with Death blossom and then a dodge
-Heartseeker and if needed pop a dancing dagger to slow the second mob.
-Keep dodging and interchanging heartseeker with deathblossom usually finishes them for me.

I find that if I don’t have the +toughness and vitality though, I get facestomped pretty quick.

Are you using heart seeker as a gap closer? I thought it did more damage the less health the target had so I always save it for last. I agree that you cant stack damage, glass cannons i find are useless in this game

Horde everything, if its a collectible keep it, you will need it at some point, and explore every nook and cranny of the maps, lot of hidden treasure chests in caves and jumping puzzels. Also chests respawn and can be re opened daily, keep a mental note of where they are so you can return later to more loot.

I think they mix it for crafting purposes, as a LW most of the leather i get is from DEing crappy leather items so if i need to farm leather i have to go to a low level zone and kill centaurs for ever and DE the low level drops.
(I’m gonna call it DEing because i came from WoW)

Are you asking about getting really rare items (orange+) or weapons with particle effects on them?

For general fights I’ve been successful with dual daggers and pistols. Dual Daggers is really strong against multiple enemies because of Death Blossom. Not only does it make you evade but it’s an aoe with powerful bleed damage. Heartseeker is good for closing a gap and is my goto move to spam when a target is low on health. One strategy you could try is using Death Blossom until you’re out of initiative, then switch to pistols and kite until your initiative regens back to almost full. Withdraw is a good ability to use to gain some distance for that strategy.

Bows are my best friend in aoe fights with a team behind my back. I haven’t done too much research on it but I find Choking Gas then Cluster Bomb a good aoe combo which also debuffs all enemies with Weakness.

I don’t like using swords on my thief. The only time I’d use it is for the immobilize condition.

This, not only does death blossom put 3 bleeds on you targets but also evades while the animation is going off. I usually use this combined with a bunch of stealthing abilities, 3 DB dissapear, backstab, steal, 2 more DB, dissapear, targets blead to death
BTW i have that talent where stealth is longer and stealing gives me initiative.

So what i have been doing on my human thief (high 40’s) quests is using the AoE stealth ability, the smoke bomb ability, and the summon thieves one. I use DW daggers with a bit of condition damage, i just use my bleeds to kill them with the death blossom while kiting. Use the Aoe cloak when you are close to death and your heal is on CD and summon your thief friends (they can be summoned from stealth and it wont break it). Stand in the stealth field and you can stay stealthed for 10 seconds while you bleeds work away at the mobs and so do your summoned thief minions.

Sorry i don’t remember the names of the abilities, but i have been able to solo all my class quests as a human thief choosing the order of wispers (or whatever they are called) and they start throwing a ton of mobs (5+ sometimes) at you.
