I casted Firepebble about 100 times because I just couldn’t believe what happened to it.
This skill is a joke, can we get a medium at least? It’s awful.
In my opinion, these kinds of things should be left out of the game. It’s sad that he died but people die all the time.
The wielding animation for Xanthium of Dreams is missing. As seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuKGCUOaXf0 the glow is quite immense. But recently, as you can see in the attachment, the glow has completely disappeared.
Hopefully this gets acknowledged, it’s one of my favorite items in the game.

Well that’s incredibly disappointing. That was the only way to get me to level a new character.
I really hope you guys rethink the leveling experience. Level 40 for all skills is a bit much. I mean honestly, I leveled an elementalist and I didn’t get Earth Attunement until .. level 24 I think?

I would like to genuinely thank the WvW development team for these changes and thank you for the hard work.
However regarding the “poll”, I have no opinion until I try the content. It helps to not be closed-minded.
I have no sympathy for the GvG roleplayers, it has no place in WvW.
Well golly, I ain’t keen on them there attunements, all I know is fiar burns so I’m just gunna stand in aoe and press dat dare 1 button. Pressin’ 2 hurts ma head.
If we’re balancing classes based on newer players (considering how we/they will never be able to effectively play an Elementalist – according to John) I guess I’m playing the wrong class.
If people simply stay in fire attunement, isn’t there a design flaw here? Make other attunements appealing.

Not sure where people are getting the information about specific buffs.. I think the staff has enough utility, it needs more damage. Or at least fix casting times/delays. It’s such a slow weapon.
A string description and supposed functionality doesn’t produce confidence necessary to feel the question is answered. It’s also not even certain the item will be released, whatever it does. The item also can’t address multiple transmutes (not that this will be as common as individual transmutes).
Yes it will. That’s in the description of the item – if the item has been transmuted multiple times, it will take the item that provides the skin and the item that provides the stats. In that case, you will always get the Legendary back, because if you weren’t totally braindead, you kept the skin.

Vocal minority from very casual players. ArenaNet, this is the best update I’ve played from you all and I’m having a blast, as well as my guild and family. I haven’t heard any complaints from Jade Quarry (other than the Liadri is so hard comments.. by the way, you could make her red circles more visual..), so keep it up.
When the update is rolled out? They’ve given a pretty detailed overview of what’s coming now and people are still not satisfied…

The build goes life today, but we don’t know when. I’m sure Lions Arch will be updated too, so we can partake in festivities.
So 16 for Ranger and 30 for Engineer?
Each point for Ranger better be filled to the brim with changes and the 30 for Engineers better involve nerfs to Grenades and bomb kits otherwise that is completely unfair.
I just have a feeling this patch won’t be enough now and the few changes they are doing to Mesmer that patch will probably be nerfing shatter builds meaning that the game will basically be dead to me as I don’t feel like leveling up another character so soon.
are you kidding? I have a engineer and a ranger, both are subpar right now. Thank god you aren’t in any kind of game development because nerfing is the exact opposite of what needs to be done in gw2. All classes should be on equal ground, and I’d rather be brought up to the best damage level in the game than bring all the other classes down to a lower level.
Engineers do stupidly large amounts of AoE damage in those kits. No class should be able to do that, Eles are probably number 2 in terms of AoE and not even they can keep up. I’m fed up of these Engineer lies that they are sub par, maybe stuff like Pistol or flamethrower kit needs some improvements but Grenades and bomb Kit are some of the most OP stuff in the game and needs nerfs, even more so if Kits get stats from weapons.
Comparing Engineers to Rangers is a Joke. Rangers need buffs in practically every area and their unique mechanic at the moment is actually making them even worse. As I said I don’t think 16 bullet points will be enough especially if it is mostly bug fixes but we will shall see what they are.
First of all, this thread is about rangers not engineers.
Second, your argument is flawed. It’s really not that hard to dodge grenades and bombs. If you find these two weapon kits overpowered you should learn to dodge and sway. It’s not that hard. Bombs and grenades are much harder to land considering they are ground targeted. They’re fine.
Instead of saying x is overpowered, how about improving other aspects of a profession to make everything else on par. You’re wanting ArenaNet to nerf the engineer’s only viable source of damage apart from the rifle, which isn’t fair.
As far as rangers go, the only thing I can think of to add is that every single aspect of this profession needs work. It’s a mess.
I wanted to remake my mesmer, so I put her armor and weapons into my personal bank thinking.. hey, I’ll be able to take them out on another character and salvage the materials later.
However, to my surprise.. I can’t remove soulbound items from my bank. So now I have a bank full of items and weapons that I can’t remove, it looks like several gold down the toilet (19g in runes alone.. Superior runes of the scholar) simply because I’m not allowed to remove soulbound items from my bank.
Is there a workaround? I tried to put a salvage kit in my bag and salvage the armor from my bank and I can’t do that either.
I assume it’s a bug, that’s why I’m here. I would love a quick fix for this.

This is also probably one of the reasons it seems a lot of the builds aren’t viable in the game. There’s simply not enough information from traits, it’s quite sad.
Actually, from what I’ve noticed petitions aren’t allowed on these forums.
1. Representing isn’t bad at all.. it’s good to have options. Maybe you should take a different approach and ask yourself “What’s wrong with my guild, why aren’t they representing?” and expand on that. People seem to like the three day guild bonuses for magic find and such, maybe you should invest in those. Also, would you prefer guild hopping? I wouldn’t.
2. There are plenty of semi-/hardcore PvE players that simply won’t PUG. People like efficiency (key term here), organization, and doing what ever it takes to lessen the grind. Guilds seem to provide that. Also, there has been problems with PUGs kicking people before the last boss. You shouldn’t have that problem with a guild.
3. What? You’re allowed to have your own opinion, that’s fine. A lot of people use guilds as a social hub.. to make friends and to form a community.
Instead of complaining about guilds, maybe you could provide some suggestions as to how you would better guilds as whole.
Seeing how I can’t play the game how I want to play it, how does ArenaNet want me to play Guild Wars 2 while still getting rewards for my efforts?
Also, an explanation on how DR works would be great. I have no idea how to play Guild Wars 2.
In my opinion, this should already be in the game.
