Just keep kiting hammer(running away from him) while you shoot him with your ranged attacks. Then when he puts his big hammer in the air he is getting ready to do his ranged attack so you want to dodge it. That’s all there is to it really, if you can survive his normal melee attacks then its easier to stay close to him so you can dodge through him to avoid his big hammer attack.
I have to disagree with this, i have seen multiple silvers because people waited too late to burn down. If they are 10% or less with one minute left i always max burn from 30 seconds down in the blind. Even if the slower guys miss the gold they have 7 mins to get silver; I have done 100 or so blitz and i have never seen a blitz get bronze because we killed a boss too soon.
I will only wait if the boss has more than 20% in the final phase.
You don’t have a ‘right’ to all of them. Pick one or two if your lucky, gamers are so entitled these days.
People who don’t donate really wind me up there I am donating 20-30 silver everytime and still its taking 10 mins to donate. If people actually realized the small amount they are ‘saving’ would be made up by faster runs.
Its not that big a deal. Price increases almost linearly with demand. Now they are only worth 100 gold or so, the gold value per gauntlet chance hasn’t changed that much.
This has probably burnt enough flippers that they will stay away from scamming people for a few weeks which should drop the prices on some items. Good move by Anet.
The market manipulation schtick is largely overplayed by people who like to think they are the next Fischer Black. The drop rate is just low and the gauntlet farm is very boring.
The chaos of Lyssa is worth 2500 gold and you can open 300 tickets an hour easily. So even if the drop rate was 1 in 10,000 that would be 70 gold an hour. So don’t expect to open a thousand gauntlet chances and get a chaos of Lyssa.
People are actually charging money now for taxis to gold pav! I don’t feel bad about not paying them because its ridiculous.
I agree the weapon difference is noticeable but you can mitigate that by doing a condition build that does not require weapon damage.
Exotics are competitive with ascended, they are a bit worse but nothing a bit of player skill can’t overcome. You definitely do not need ascended armour/weapons to have plenty of fun and kills in WvW.
Not that easy to obtain, 250 levels is not trivial.
Level 50 fractals are pretty tricky, but that is obviously a contested point. The best armour in the game is Ascended which you cannot just buy off the TP, sure you can get some bolts of damsack or whatever but the shards and the dragonite you have to earn yourself with skill. So really my point is that you don’t make much sense, espesially as there is armour like the fractal backpeice which you can only get from doing high level fractals.
This literally is not a problem, if everyone starts doing this then the value of eternity on the market will tank down to not much higher than twilight, you won’t be able to combine them and get your money back. Who is going to be buying all of these eternities on the market anyways if you can just get ‘free’ skins with your method.
