It all depends on your weapon set and how you want to play honestly.

I’d rather use a venom share build spreading out 12 basilisk venom strikes every 36ish seconds with might and health steal. Plus the other venoms.

We have Is, Shadowstep, and shadowtrap as stun breakers. One Signet, one trap, one deception. It’s a pattern. One stun break in each utility category, except for venoms of course. To add a stun break to another signet would have to remove an ability from it to prevent it from being OP. Can you imagine signer of agility breaking stun refilling endurance and curing multiple conditions? Just wow
IS is a signet that is a stun breaker. Seems you don’t know that.
It’s not too much of a problem in P/D builds, because of stealing, and infil signet with CnD pre-cast every 20 and 30 seconds seconds, but I see where you’re coming from. It would probably just be too OP if madequicker, near impossible to counter
If I remember correctly each shot has its own crit chance, so in that case yes it works with each shot.
else give me a thief build without stealth spam or sword thats viable in pvp atm….

Okay so we avoid gate of madness so we don’t get nerfed after we pwn.
SR refuge on a P/D build lets you use on demand without a CnD, plus when you use sneak attack while in your refuge you’ll get life stealing projectiles, combined with your SA line it’s basically a full 2nd heal skill. I’d go 30 in trickery getting yourself the 20s dazing steal and caltrops. I personally prefer ricochet, because I rely on sneak attack so it puts some pressure on multiple enemies.. Venoms are ok, but I’d use infil signet instead for the CnD – Steal/infil – Sneak attack – shadow strike combo. I keep mug so that stealing also heals and deals damage during the combo since it can’t crit anyway anymore.

SoS. Been getting great bags since we used to be the #1 server. You just can’t be glass cannon. Put signet of malice on.
Eh it’s easy for bags in a zerg, just sb and daggerstorm, but yeah not too useful
It’s easy to solo camps as a thief, and also to roam, pick off stragglers, supply runners, and yaks.

I run 40+ on my thief. Pure zerker because once you get high enough you’ll be one shot wearing anything. Thieves excel in the dredge, volcano, swamp, and ice fractals due to the teleports, stealth and on demand Condi removal. Not to mention high dps.Really only have a problem with ascalon because of the mass mobs. The main thing is what was mentioned above is that you need to learn the maps and bosses attacks so you know when to dodge and avoid being hit. It takes practice, but once you get good you can be a great asset to your party as a thief in fractals.
You can have 100% uptime and great damage without zerk armor. All it is is traitlines food and runes, the rest is completely customizable however you want it to be.
I think just increasing the skills initiative would be enough. I mean you can’t really spam cloak and dagger unless you’re traited for full regen, but then your build would suck. So I think it’d be fine if they buffed body shot, but just increased it to say 6 initiative. That’s 2 uses at a time. Then a pause while you regen initiative, and that would be with the thief not being able to use any other skill. So honestly initiative is fine, just make the skill cost more and it will be balanced. You’ll have to choose which skills you want, because even if body shot is ungodly awesome, I’ll still want to have to manage initiative to use headshot and blackpowder. Not to mention unload, or shadow shot in Condi builds. It’s fine, but you your idea wasn’t bad. Just my opinion.
I’m able to run 40+ fractals on my thief perfectly fine. You just need to understand the bosses and your own weapon sets/builds. We’re Actually pretty amazing in a few fractals.
An agility based class and plated armor don’t mix. It doesn’t even make sense.
Stealth condition removal. Signet of Agility. Shadowstep. And the cleansing sigil are all ways for your build to remove conditions. As for downed people I can only suggest stealthing them or using the revive trait.
If it did work though, it would round up to 2 secs
A mix is also nice. I have 2.9k toughness with 16.5k Hp on my P/D build. I have to almost try to die with all my condition removal and teleports
Remember you can steal mid pistol whip to make up for being rooted. Also you can move while it’s activating. Get those two actions down and it’s hard to not hit them with the whole flurry.
So S/P. Does it work in WvW? I know it does in PvE, but alsmost anything works in PvE so this is not the problem
Just don’t jump into a crowd full of retaliation and you’ll be fine.
Sigil of nulification helps a lot with that and lead in with a boon strip steal. It’s funny to watch them freak out after they don’t realize they’re retaliation is gone and they’re just standing there getting smacked.
It works very well. You just have to practice to become good at it.
All the more reason why thieves actually are viable in pve, and the great think is you can do this as a full zerk thief. You only need to switch up utilities.
I like the idea of a mace, but those skills are way too op for it. Stunning and dazing while still stealthed? Easymode backstabs. A knockdown that also does unload damage as well as bleeds is also pretty out there.
