Over on the bug forums we made a bit of noise in regards to the Honor of the Waves (heavy) armor changes. With no response I was about to give up hope. I log in today to see my wonderful shoulders restored to their former glory.

I can’t thank you guys enough, truly, thank you. I hope the Art team see’s this because they have made my day!

Yeah looks like they resized them. ANET, if you’re reading this, thank you very much. Yes they seem a bit smaller haha, but truly thank you. They are much better than they were.

They need to fix this :/ there has been a thread on the bug forums that has had a lot of exposure but no answer (T^T) bumming me out, I am less stalwart since these changes.

I would not single out Warr’s because of a glitch. If it’s centered around Immob I’m sure others can do it also, there are a lot of glitches out there, even more so in wvw.

was he using a one handed sword and bolas? They can also trait to immob you for like 1 second if they cripple you (5 sec cd) but all together that would be 10 seconds of Immob. bring some condi clears

Every time there is a new patch, my heart takes flight, in the hopes that my beloved shoulders have been fixed (and the whole armor). However my heart as it sores on eagles wings, comes crashing down, when i see those huge “things” hanging on my shoulders…

I understand, I’m just messing with ya. I hail from TC also, so i know what you’re talking about and it is kinda annoying.

I noticed something strange last night.

I have 50% chance to crit with a sigil of accuracy on my great sword and my one handed sword I use. I switch between two different off hands, one has a sigil of accuracy on it and one has a sigil of blood lust, both have the same stats (Berserk). When i have the off hand with the sigil of blood lust equip, all is as it should be, 50% chance to crit. Now when i equip the other off hand (with another sigil of accuracy) after getting 25 stacks of blood lust, instead of receiving another 5% crit chance which would bump me up to 55% crit chance. it stays at 50% and drops my great sword crit chance to 45%. Whats up with that?

Nick, this is a thread about Honor of the waves armor. Go make a new thread about the Charr issues, no one wants to argue with you about Charr, we are just trying to get this change reverted.

ask him if his mail is full, I think you can only have like 10 mail or something like that. Happens to me sometimes

The only way Mounts would even be remotely cool, is if they removed ALL waypoints.

I was told to fill out an in game bug report by a Dev, to bump the issue. So just passing that info along, in the hopes we can get a lot of attention to this.

I think they also grant some silver after every match too, so that’s an improvement

Their biggest mistake was messing with the HotW armor set

Before the patch, the shoulders were a high and tight stalwart straight across the shoulders. Now that they have been enlarged, they hang at an angle and clip into themselves.

Kodan shoulders. There are multiple threads about this issue. It just hit with the new patch so we Humans are feeling the Charr pain.

Great example Jex. I don’t have any decent before pics, but yours illustrate the issue very well. I’m happy that there is a lot of attention on this topic, as I love these shoulders and have used them ever since i hit 80. I truly do hope if we raise enough hell on this topic (respectfully of course) we can get a response from Anet.

It’s an issue with humans also, more now than before with the new changes to some of the armor. Hopefully if we raise enough hell (respectfully of course) we can get a response to this issue.

In a game where looking great is the only way to set yourself apart, I have taken a lot of time gathering armor pieces to form a look that I really do love. This new change hit me right in the feels because i have used these shoulders since the launch of the game. I truly do hope Anet fixes this sometime soon

they messed with the Human version also. Shoulders are massive now, clip into themselves. Don’t know why they “fixed” something that was not broken.

What brings me down? How they messed with something that was not broken. The HotW heavy shoulders, they are huge now.

Why did Anet decide to change the scale of the heavy kodan shoulders? What was their design philosophy behind it? Now they are huge and clip into their own set, where as before they rested just fine and were one of the best looking shoulders in the game. Were they too good looking or something?

An answer would be great. Even if its just a " Because"…

They need to change this, or at least give design reasons as to why they changed it. Why fix something that was not broken? Now it just makes us look like fat Norns and it clips into its own set, when before it did not. (T^T) bumming me out.
