Maybe cause people were using them? So they fixed that.
Sword dmg is pathetic now, dunno if it’s worth it to even use anymore. So i guess Spirit weapons are back to exactly where they were before.
This is the gear setup I went with and it’s been working well. Valk/Cava/Zerker. Just tanky enough not to get immediately squished in pve but with huge crits and good crit rate. Didn’t use quite as many valk or cava as you (more zerker and 1 power/toughness/precision accessory) but it’s similar.

I was running around getting hero points last night and going through the starting zones I heard revs talking about having no skills or heal for underwater… with hero points being slim while starting a fresh character it can be easy to go into water situations with no skills other than weapon skill. For a rev if you don’t know half your stances don’t work underwater… it is painful….

So only 2 stances seem work underwater for me. Shiro and Mallyx. If i have either Jalis or Ventari active they turn up blank underwater. My stances have to be switched manually before entering the water to the 2 that function. Why not set them up underwater and have it auto change when you go in? Not that there is much underwater stuff but this is tedious.
I’ve hated pvp since launch but came back about a month ago and really started trying to get better at it. In GW2 pvp combat is often over really fast for someone, usually they watch their opponent dance around while comboing them in such a way where fighting back seemed futile and there was nothing they could do. Then after losing they go into downed state (still hate this) where they get to die again. This happens 5-10 times and that player no longer wants anything to do with pvp.
This is especially frustrating in WvW small scale fights where your opponent is most likely invisible 90% of the fight while dunking you or reviving their allies. (still hate this) If you do get the upper hand they’ll just invis/movement skill away rapidly.
So there are lots of “things” that suck in pvp and if you don’t switch to doing that best “thing” then gtfo. Right now dealing with the “thing” is going to meta battle and picking the cheapest class/combo you possibly can and using it. Because anything else is gonna get kitten on.

Transmutation charges are the best reward from spvp. Don’t take away half of them! ; _ ;
Tried DH out over the weekend. It didn’t seem to do anything well.
I felt the bow was pretty basic and boring weapon to run. None of the abilities were fun to use honestly, no button on it had the reaction “sweet!”. For some reason I thought the longbow would have longer range than our Scepter and match the 1500 of a ranger. Was disappoint.. it wasn’t terrible just not fun.
Traps were really situational annoying to use a lot of the time. They also didn’t synergise with the bow at all. I kept trying to use traps and was mostly disappointed from placing them to the effects I got. Fragments was the only trap I liked, it actually had a nice effect, was interesting and useful. But I hear is was bugged and activating too many times. Adding in some bonus effects for trap activation or passive effects for them being slotted may make them more useful and slot worthy..
The new virtues were nice though. I really like the leap heal and aoe block abilities. The spear I never used much honestly. Compared to our current virtues it’s tough though. Currently our virtues are some of our best abilities and the virtue trait line is amazing. We pretty much have to give it up if we want DH virtues. Which sucks.
The DH traits were kinda all over the place and didn’t offer much in the way of focus compared to some of the other new class traits. A speed or movement tweak trait would be welcomed.
Over all I found Dragon Hunter was pretty underwhelming. I hope it gets optimized a bit before launch and made more interesting and fun. Other than some of the new virtues that were done well nothing about DH seemed fun or rewarding.
I think he’s annoyed at the bugged checkpoint in his picture. Having done this trib mode level for the first time tonight and encountering the same thing, yeah it’s really heartbreaking. Finally getting there then dying afterwards and getting sent back to the previous checkpoint you just spend 20 min finishing. Not to mention that checkpoint before the trampolines has you ressing and insta dieing because the res point is ontop of spikes…..
Very surprised these issues haven’t been fixed since GW2 has been patched 5 or so times since SAB came back.
If you’re having trouble on your necro, go full condition. Very easy 2nd phase with scepter/dagger.

This! Please revert this change, it’s terrible! As someone with 3 sets of gear seeing it get thrown into different bags when swapping it out is painful.

I won’t suggest how, but there is only ONE thing thats needs to happen.
There needs to be a way to remove stealth from stealthed players.

I think the devs should maybe watch this video in regards to how to make abilities (such as stealth/invisibility) function in games.
Stealth being an uncounterable ability is silly. Make something counter stealth and prevent it from working for a time.

OP is right. Having a class that can kill people while constantly being invisible with no counter is terrible. Don’t tell me their is a counter cause there isn’t, there is no ability that removes stealth for any period of time in the game.
Came across a thief tonight who was attacking me and some guildies 1 vs 5. We couldn’t kill him while he kept attacking us. He was invisible 95% of the engagement. How is this fun? Why is there no counter to stealth? Horrible game design. If there were 2 of these thieves we would probably all have died due to stealth dunking.
A class that can wade into 10-20 people, make stupid mistakes or get jumped can still get away 100% maybe even after killing someone because of one uncounterable ability?

This was done about 20 mins ago (this was a pug formed in LA. if not for four other warriors I would have gone guardian myself). It’s messy/buggy but definitely possible. My group was having a much harder time with sparks than what I feel is intended. I do agree that something needs to be done.
We used the method described in the post above. We couldn’t dps her down all the way from ~55% so we had to send 2 to run sparks. We eventually managed to get her back at 25%, and called everyone back over to finish it up.
You did it with 5 warriors. From what i hear spamming warriors and bursting her down is the only way to do it.
Which is bad design. They need to fix this, wasted 3 hours down there doing this path for nothing cause this boss is terrible, unbalanced and buggy. I know they only tested the dungeons once or twice before release and didn’t think people would care about them. But they should at the very least be doable by any of the classes which is one of the things they were promoting with their dungeons.

Two things.
#1: I would love to see the #4 hammer ability (knockback) hit up to three targets instead of one.
#2: be able to use The Hammer #5 ability while moving.
If I hit them, any mob will petty much be on me till I go down. Great when you can kite or dodge them effectively, no so good when they all just zerg you down. ><
Lets not forget when we go to siege a keep/tower kittenes will put down a arrow carts next to the door to screw the assault. Transfers to servers your currently facing in wuvwuv should not be allowed.
I don’t understand why people are punished for clearing dungeons in a timely manner. If it’s not from some bug or skipping content I don’t see a reason to punish people for using teamwork and ability to speed through your dungeon.
Please fix this.
To waste so much time and effort to get into a big keep/Garrison. To be unable to take it because the keep lord is bugged and takes no damage is TERRIBLE.
Please fix.
