So do i get laurels when i kill enemies in WvWvW? It’s impossible do monthly because you need to do fractals or something so these laurels kind of suck.

Laurels come in February. There is a system to convert your previous achievements into laurels, but due to some achievements being abused they have to test it for the later months ahead.
The system that will convert the achievements will be introduced in the future and as you said some achievements that could continuously be earned will receive a cap and this system may or may not have the laurels as a token reward.
The laurel system will be introduced with the 28th update and will reward 1 laurel for the daily and 10 laurels for the monthly achievement. You will not earn laurels for completing the January achievement.
It’s not possible at the beginning because your storylines are different but when your friend reach the point where he has to choose which tribe to assist, then the story quests no matter your race become the same, except a couple of them, e.×. the ambush at the order’s hq. So when he reach the story step you are currently in, when you finish it, a window will appear asking you if you want to progress to the next quest or stay at this one and if you accept you will obtain the rewards (exp, gear etc.).
Even if you are not in the same quest, it’s still possible to gain exp and loot from kills while you help him.

The TP is using the Awesomiun browser so I’m guessing that it’s either a problem with the flash or something happened with its file in the .dat file. I’m suggesting you to update your flash and if that doesn’t fix it try to do a repair to GW2.
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end.
Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes

Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.

Haven’t personally tested these recipes but according to GW2 wiki these recipes unlock some items named Devout (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Recipe:_Ash_Legion's_Boot example for the boots, Devout Shoes (Master)) so you may haven’t see them as you where searching for something named “Ash Legion x” in the list.
Does it show you any message? There are some reasons why the waypoint doesn’t work. You may not have the right amount of money, you may be in combat or there’s a dynamic event near the waypoint so the waypoint may be contested.
Do we have a collections tab for all these existing currencies? I know that thing from the dailies goes into my collections but how about all the rest of them?
If you right click on the WvW Badges or the dungeon tokens there is the Deposit Collectible choice but it’s grey so I’m guessing that it’s almost ready and they adjust some last things (maybe remove their 250 stack limit), so it may be available some.
Training manuals are only used to unlock the tier of traits they are created for(Adept for 1st tier, master for 2nd and grandmaster for 3rd) and not for reseting. They only reset your traits when you first learn them. To reset them go to your trainer and choose the choise to reset your traits.

Very strange to me that ascended rings are not sellable, but legendaries are!?!? Weird decision there imho.

If you don’t equip it when you make it you can sell it as it’s soulbound on use. Press “O” and see by yourself.
Everything increases the karma you gain from the jugs except the Outmaned buff from WvW. You can have +50% from Karma Boosters(buy them with gems or as drops from black lion chests), +10% from karma guild banner, +15% from guild karma research. Also some new wintersday food have +karma but haven’t tested them yet.
There are several ways to obtain end game gear(80 lv exotics). First of all you can craft them or buy them from trading post. Now it depends on how many mats and gold have you gathered at this point and how much patience you have in gathering mats. You can gather nodes every day and farm mobs or gather gold and buy it from trading post.
Second way is via dungeons. Each dungeon has 3 exploration paths (Arah has 4). Each one gives you 20 tokens and a bonus 40 tokens as a daily bonus if you run a path for your first time in that day. So if you run all 3 paths you take 180 tokens but if you really like the dungeon you chose and there are available parties you can continue running it more than once every path and just taking those 20 tokens from each path completion.Here you can see how many tokens is required for each piece but I think you will need about a week for a complete set. Each dungeon has its own sets so you can choose the one you prefer and start doing runs. I have to mention that you don’t have to run the story mode to do exploration mode. Only the guy who will put you into the dungeon must have to already done the story mode of the specific dungeon.
Third way is via Karma vendors. For the 80 lv exotic armor pieces you will need 42k karma per piece. Here you can see the location of each karma vendor and what stats have the pieces they selling. It may sound like a huge amount of karma but you will gather it easuly especially if you do every dynamic event you see in your way. Also daily and monthly achievements give you karma bottles (4.5k each bottle but it can be boosted with karma boosters, guild buffs and banners). Dungeons also reward karma each time you complete a path.
Forth way is via WvW. The thing is that that armor set only has Power/Toughness/Vitality stats and it requires a lot of WvW badges so it’s not easy to buy them. These vendors though have trinkets that you can buy if you like these stats as there are only 1 amulet and 1 ring available with these stats. The Emerald Pendant and the Nightmare Coil whose recipe is a rare drop so both of them are quite expensive.
As for PvP you don’t have to worry at all. The moment you go in the Heart of the Mists (the sPvP area) there you will be 80 lv with everything unlocked and all the gear free so you can create the character just the way you want and start PvPing immediately.

As the others above me said you gain a skill point each time you fill the bar again but you can also buy skill points inside fractals for 35 fractal relics per skill point. If you want you can also level up another character and create your second legendary with your second character’s skill points as the required items are normal or account bount (there are no soulbound legendary required items as far as I know) and the legendary it self is bound on use so you can easily transfer everything via bank.

As Wiser with Age said no matter where you go, either in PvE or WvW those increased stats (both the ring’s/back’s and the infusion’s stats) will remain. There’s no reduction in stats, as nobody ever said that the ascended items will work only in fractals. They’re normal items which are a higher Tier than Exotics so they are better than Exotics. The only think that doesn’t work outside the fractals in the Agony resistance as you can only encounter it in fractals.
You have to Alt + Click again but in the full map. Open the full world map (default key m) and by pressing Alt + Click it will open a context menu to choose between 4 waypoints. You personal waypoint and the 3 order waypoints you mentioned.
According to Guildhead http://www.guildhead.com/item/31974/salient-dagger the only similar to that is the Claws of the Desert dagger and according to gw2 wiki http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Claws_of_the_Desert you can obtain it by putting rares/exotics in Mystic Forge. It says soulbound on use so it may be also available for sale in TP.
About the Sai dagger according again to Guildhead http://www.guildhead.com/item/31912/sai#. there are 3 daggers similar to that. The 1 is the Spark which is the precursor for the legendary, the second (Stinger) unfortunately I couldn’t find any info on how to obtain it and the 3rd (Usoku’s Needle) according to gw2 wiki http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Usoku%27s_Needle it’s that same as the Claws of the Dessert so you may find in at the TP.
As far as I know there’s no way to change any items stats although you can buy another back item by joining a guild and going to the Guild Armorer at Lion’s Arch’s bank. The bad thing is that there’s no back item over there with the rampager’s stats and the only one that has condition damage according to gw2 wiki is a lv 60 back item with Precision/Toughness/Condition damage. You can see all the back items the Guild Armorer sells here in case some of them fits with your build. Then you can put an exotic jewel in the item and transmute it with the Mad Memories book for the skin.
Edit: If you decide to buy a back item from the Guild Armorer I’d suggest you: 1st) to buy a lv 80 back item so there won’t be any problem with the jewels’ level requirements and 2nd) first put the jewel in the back and then transmute so you can choose the stats and the skin from Mad Memories book and the jewel from the new back, just in case that the level doesn’t get transfered to the transmuted item.

Solo’d with my 80 Ele with a little help from my lovely Earth Elemental. Only problem was the fear that gave me heart attacks stopping at the edge of the cliff and the leaps of faith I had to make after the Mad King went to 75% health and teleported down.
This code according to GW2 support page appears when there are anti-virus/firewall problems or when there’s a blocked port in the router that blocks access. As you already have played some time it can be a port except if you changed router. Try restarting your client and temporary disable your anti-virus and firewall and if that doesn’t work, try to put gw2 to firewall’s exceptions. As you changed your password multiple times it may not be someone else in the account except if with some way your pc is infected with a keylogger.
I’m not an ANet employee but I also had a similar problem in the past I sent a ticket from this site. A responce came really fast and I took my account back without any damage of loss.

Select hacked account and fill as much information as you can, as this ticket directly informs ANet and they will take action as soon as they see it. Also see if you can enter your account from the site, go to Security tab and press log out to the suspicious IP and after that change your password. Also I’d suggest you to enable e-mail or mobile authenticator to prevent unauthorise access to the account.

There are 2 waypoints left so there’s no way to be from WvW as it gives you all 7 waypoints of the map the moment you teleport into the map. There are no skill points or hearts so it can’t be on any other map but in some city. Also I can see you still have some story quests left and i think (I’m not 100% sure) that some pois are accessible only by following the story quests. Check the cities and also finish the story just to be sure.

I also started with a berserker set + berserker jewels. The damage was good but with very low defence and health.
The condition damage for staff is just useless. We just do a stack of burn and 6 stacks of bleed which they won’t do serious damage no matter how condition damage you have.
I’d suggest you the same as Eclipses suggested. I bought a Power/Toughness/Vitality set and saw a big difference. The damage is still there, there’s less critical chance but it’s still good but you now have more defence and health to cause them a headache cause with 3 dodges(2 + 1 from fire), arcane shield, magnetic aura(for ranged attacks) and the + in toughness and vitality you won’t die so easily.
For the traits as Eclipses said Zeyphyr’s Boon is useless. I personally have it 30/20/0/0/20 with quick glyphs and inscription (for double boon on heal).
I have seen others having the same problem and they also tried everything without any luck. I saw that only 2 things worked.
1. System restore
2. Go to C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Temp and there should be a “Gw2.exe” file in there. Right click on it, “cut” it and place it in a folder named “Guild Wars 2” along with the “Gw2Setup.exe”. Then run the Gw2.exe file.

As you checked the video drivers and everything’s ok the only think I can think is that something went wrong during the patch of the client. It depends on your class and your play style. There are 6 karma merchants with lv 80 exotic armors but if you want all the pieces to have the same stats you have to go to many (if not to all) of them. http://dulfy.net/2012/09/08/gw2-templegod-karma-armor-sets/ Here are their locations and the stats of the pieces that they sell but if you decide to buy from them you have to farm a bit cause it costs 42k karma a piece. I bought from them a light Power/Toughness/Vitality set which really helped me (except from the leggings that does not exist and I had to buy them with WvW tokens). If, on the other hand, you don’t want to gather all this karma for the set you can also see the dungeon sets from the vendors in Lion’s Arch. Maybe some of them have the stats that you want but you will need some time to gather the tokens.
Yea I have also noticed that and especially when I change to air just like you for a speed boost and i take a train of mobs with me cause the auto attack of air is the chain lightning so you can pull more that one. However until they fix it, you can avoid doing that by spam clicking the ground just after you press to change attunement as it cancels your target and stops the attack.
@Selo Because you have full dungeon exotics that doesn’t mean that you have the right gear for your class or to do max DPS in WvW. Also TWMagimay said that all FIRE skills are aoe not all staff skills. Staff for WvW is PERFECT. End of story. I also have ele full exotic but not from dungeons (I simply don’t care what dungeons give with tokens) and the zerg doesn’t dare touching the door. Everything that comes near just dies from meteor shower + lava fond. Also you mention that noone will stay in meteor shower and in the lava fond to take damage. Oh yeah, they will. With the combination of frozen ground and static field and an unsteady ground behind them they really don’t have a choice. I don’t make this post to prove you that I’m the best ele in the universe but to prove you that with the right combos and the proper traiting, eles can do everything and they can do it pretty good. Of course we need a little boost cause we have the lowest hp and def in the game but we can still do some serious damage and really make them focusing on us so they can stay alive to destroy that door.
The last poi you say that you need… is it the last poi required for 100% map completion cause if yes then you may have missed the Chantry of Secrets poi.
I agree with the above posts and I have a suggestion. Everytime you move in the world and want to teleport, the game will calculate your distance from the available waypoints and charge you depending on the distance cause now you teleport to a waypoint and if you try to teleport to the same waypoint without even making a step it asks you money again even if you are exactly under the waypoint and in the high-level places it required more than a silver even for the nearest waypoint. It may sound like a small price but if you are looking for something or chasing dynamic events or group events, at the end you spend more in teleports that you take from the rewards. Now about the death. I suggest the nearest waypoint to be free as you already have to pay for repair.
+1 for the restarts. Also the auto-restart will have to be activated lets say at least 12 hours after the system lost its connection from the server so we also count any possible server crashes to avoid annecessary restarts. Furthemore a 2nd system can me created that will check that the restart completed succesfully without errors or crashes and if not it will try to re-restart the server or contact an Anet employee currently present to properly restart the server.
About the Ranger’s pets. I’m not a ranger myself but a friend, that started playing along with me, is a ranger and when we party together his pet brings to us half the mobs that exist in the map. So a possible “fix” cound be that after about 10sec out of combat the pet will blend into the enviroment so it can neither be targeted nor be attacked. f course this has to be carefully tested before release to avoid any exploits of the feature in PvP/WvW or PvE places like dungeons.
