So I’m a returning player to gw2 and after the release of HoT I heard condi build is viable and is actually helpfull. But is it still zerker centric or is carrion or rabid a viable choice?

I was playing some spvp with Chronomancers and I’ve noticed that when I cast my gravity well and if I’m inside the well too, it all so effects me with the cc effect. I’m not 100% sure but can someone confirm this?

hi im an engi player whos been pvping since the rank update. Now ever since then, i have been totally shut down by many trap dhs manytimes with out being able to do anything.
is there a way to play against this as a engineer? btw i dont have hot

Onething is do if u get used to engi, skill rotationing and manging ur skill will be much ezier when u play other classes maybe except ele. Engi is still more complecated than ele imo

I agree with this post 100% especially with questing and exploring. Gw2s environment just feels really natural and not like an arena feeled with things to smash (cough cough tera cough)

I had this problem only once with a warrior so im assuming he just outplayed us. But most of time if it is 1v3/4 or 2v3/4 it usually dosent last long

I did write wat my build was in middle of the discussion but ill write it again. Im running P/S bomb kit, tool kit, (elixir s/elixir gun/slick bots for my third slot depending on how i feel) and 6/2/0/4/2

I honestly think gw2 has one of the best pvp in mmo and i think gw2 pvp it self can be a full separate game. Its got stratage, player skills and teamplay. I know gw2 have official tornaments and stuff but why cant it grow bigger than wat it is now? Is it because people are simply not intersted in mmorpg pvps? Or is because the game is not balanced enough? I would reallt love to c gw2 in mlgs and other big esports scene

So i was just dueling to practices my engi in spvp (and im very new to pvp in general) and this one warrior was keep losing to me. He rq but before he left he said to me that im a scrub and playing op engi class that takes no skill to use…i honestly thought engi was one of the hardest class to play but is it really that op?

Fractals if u r looking for challenge but gw2 endgame is more of cosmatic stuff than better stats. I do spvp most of the time. OH and u can lvl ur chatacters by just doing spvp matches so yah. Them tome of knoledge is too op

note: im new to pvp
i was dueling in custom spvp arena with a warrior. i dont what build it is but he was using gs/bow and when we dueled later he was using a/a and rifle. Both of this match up i bearly dmged the wowarrior but he bursted my down pretty hard with both build.

I was running 6/2/4/0/2 P/S with bomb and tool kit with elixer s(the one the shrinks u) and supply crate. Oh and rampagers amulet sigil of torment(?) And sigil of…one that gives bleeding on weapon swap

Oh and i even used supply create but coukdnt beat him.
i was dodging his charged shots and the axe burst too but idk why he does so mich dmg to me

I dont think it effects anything…but im not sure

Why not have set dmg u can do with out stats so condis can also do same amont of dmg to structure as zerkers would

I bought the corrupted pickaxe and molten pickaxe back in season 1 and when i checked thr gem store recently those picks are avaliabe as account bound i know its 1000gems but i did buy mine for 800 gems as soul bound. Is there way to make my pickaxe as account bound by paying the extra 200 gems or something like that…cuz im so chapped right now

ahh icic so gw1 was based on skill combination and rotation of 2ndary class and ur mains while gw2 is more limited but action and using right skill at the right time. right?

Sooo when im on youtube or reddit, seems like theres always a person saying how gw1 combat is much better than gw2’s combat mechanic. i had this game for 2 years on and off and recently i started to really appreciating the combo mechanic of gw2. now i didnt have chance to play gw1 at all so can someone explain to me wat was really great about gw1’s mechanic over gw2’s?

(cant get in to other mmos thx to gw2’s combat mechanic btw)
