Adding my comments so GW2 will pay attention to how serious of a problem this was.
I spoke to a Mod in the game who said “You can file a ticket at support.guildwars2.com – we’re seeing similar reports”
Got booted at the final fight after 3 hours of dying over and over. BTW, I’d like a refund on all the repairs since I got ZERO for it. I was disappointed with the bugs all weekend, but this final fight bug which cost me the reward has my blood boiling. To the point where I don’t think I will do these one time events ever again.
Thanks for the summary. I had no idea what was going on. Story is cool, ANet just needs to do a better job at executing. I missed 75% of this.
Phase 2 was VERY confusing. Still not sure if I missed something. Big fail. Maybe I’m just spoiled with WoW doing a good job of walking you through the steps.
I’m standing in LA with about 30 people who don’t know what’s going on like myself. Very frustrating and disappointing.
At least I’ve been watching twitter and these forums. I don’t think most people expect they have to use the internet to figure out the steps of this event. The game should do the explaining.
edit- i see they posted a delay on twitter. but affirms by statement… you shouldn’t have to watch twitter to play this game.

Been waiting at Noll for 55 minutes. Bugged
still bugged. same 8/9 message. other players were there too and said it was bugged. Seems like this has been going on for over a month. no excuse why this hasn’t been fixed yet.
