Just wanted to comment that my gem conversion page is now working (I had blank window issue for ~11 days). Hopefully it stays!
Thanks!

edit wrong thread, ignore post.
Well, i might just ask, anyone got all 30 badges? i got 28/30.
There’s 2 on the boat if you haven’t gotten those yet.

This would be marginally less annoying if I could still DO STUFF while waiting, but now I’m forced to stand around in the PvP lobby… which, in turn, wouldn’t be so bad if I could believe the “average queue time” of 4 minutes 16 seconds… :/
This.
I’m staring at 22min queue time right now with the “average” being 2min2s. I’ve had 3 prompts and all ended with 9/10 checkmarks.
It might help the time to click “accept” could be extended to the 2 minutes or whatever it was that you could delay joining a match before the update? I’m not sure how much that would help, but just a thought.
Edit: I got a match at ~27min queue time.
Edit2: I just queued again and got a match almost instantly. Maybe the previous time was just bad luck?

The only two things I don’t like about this JP is the trial and error bit at the end and the fact that it is long but you must finish the whole thing without disconnecting.
Not sure if this was a bug or not, but I did DC and still had my 3 accumulated milestones when I logged back in.
This was a great new puzzle! Had a few hours of fun and got to run around with some random people to figure it out. Shout out to Doctor Whispers for being my unexpected JP partner.
I did think there should’ve been more jumps that required a bit more precision , BUT only if balanced with forgiving checkpoints. That being said, I didn’t fall off that many times so I’m not sure how many checkpoints there were to restart from. I also didn’t use the auto-res feature but that was a really considerate touch.
It was interesting to have more of a “puzzle” twist to this JP, and I can’t wait to have more JPs I guess I’ll also have to run through it again for the badges. Not sure how many I managed to pick up!

Just wanted to give another thumbs up for how this last part ended. Gotta admit I’ve been following LS pretty apathetically, and I was skeptical through all the click-click speeches until the very end, when I actually had thoughts like, “you did NOT just kill my mother.”
Thanks!!

Play a lockdown Mesmer for a month. If it’s difficult and hard, don’t give up. Stick with it and even if you don’t enjoy the style no matter what build you go back to you’ll go back as a stronger, more technical, and overall better player.
Thanks for this I started PVP as a lockdown Mes following one of those guides. Played for about 2 months, pretty casually, sometimes it worked out, sometimes I didn’t really know what I was doing… which in the end, I think means I wasn’t quite playing lockdown correctly but had enough experience with Mesmer to keep advancing haha.
I’m on an invisibility centered build now because I want to learn more about effective usage of invisibility, but I feel like playing with lockdown for that time really improved my playstyle D; I plan on later switching back to lockdown before trying something different to keep honing skillz. Ty again!

Sorry, I’m bit late to the party. I had a Queen to rescue (http://www.youtu.be/yIgQWLCJpfY).
But as stated, I’m not a true solo-king when I miss so many paths.
Nice to see your videos! So fast though, how long did it actually take you to save the Queen?
It’s very time consuming, but it’s a great test of skills and ingenuity. Honestly speaking, I learned more about the capabilities and potential of my profession, its traits and utilities while I was soloing and wracking my mind trying to figure out “how can I deal with these obstacles?!” than I did any other time in Gw2.
This is probably our main motivation: pushing our skill levels with the classes to our limits. We’re trying to work on team mechanics and combo usage too, and we ran… a condition damage mesmer, a tanky warrior, and some sort of hybrid elementalist. Still working at it! Also, when we do need to lead a completely new person through a dungeon, it won’t hurt so bad haha. Legendaries and world completion star can come never later.

This is mostly just out of curiosity but what is the smallest group you’ve (successfully) run a dungeon with? I know AC can pretty regularly be done with 1-3 people, but a couple friends and I just tried TA last night (up and forward/forward, didn’t get to forward/up) and it was surprisingly successful for us! Kinda makes us want to take on the challenge of completing more dungeons with smaller groups.

Didn’t want to make a separate thread, aaaand I’ve only skimmed the above posts which seems to be back and forth justifications, BUT.
Thank you for the unsafe boxes and free skins! It was totally unexpected and I’m quite pleased!!
