I actually really like the long bow, if the short bow was made of pink flowers i would get it no problem. I even don’t mind if it shoots rainbows.

I can see the funny side, it does look hilarious, but the novelty soon wares off when i think how much time goes into making it.

Why on earth did they make all the other legendary’s quite serious and good looking, yet make the short bow, the weapon i use most, so ridiculous. Link

I don’t mind that its pink, i wouldn’t even mind if it looked a bit girly, but it has a huge unicorn and tassels on it! There are 2 great swords, why didn’t they make 2 of each legendary? At least we would have a choice.

Also in this page it shows the Staff, Hammer, both Greatswords and the Shield . All look amazing. Why not make a video showing them all? I’m not gonna sink so much time into a pistol that nobodies even going to see, what kind of effects does it have?

Had this problem on my thief a few times, although the teleport arrow fixes it. Still annoying in pvp.

I constantly get this bug in WvW and occasionally it crashes afterwards, rather annoying as WvW ques are usually an hour+.

If you really want to increase your chances you need to put exotics in, rares have only a slight chance of returning an exotic, exotics cannot return rares.

Some quick math based on the 3 events i grind in Straights of Devastation. I get roughly 2k karma and well over 1g an hour, sometimes 2 depending but i’l say 1 for ease.

Thats 500 hours for 1 mil karma, by that time i would have at least 500g.

Lengendaries are suppose to be hard to get, the designers knew this, that’s why they have a unique skins and effects. You guys are complaining because what? other people are going to have them before you? They are not mandatory either, your not being forced to get them.

So you would rather grind 1 million karma, than grind 200g? i can guarantee that 200g is just as, if not easier to get.

If you think the weapons expensive wait till you see how many T6 mats you need, not to mention 100 Icey Runestones that 100g right there. Oh and you already need over 700k karma for Obsidian Shards and Mystic Clovers, sooooooo yeah.

i totally agree, nights aren’t really that dark and the spot light bugs me.

Seed Turret is a skill, i have it, it’s not a consumable as far as i know.

Like Dr said you can hit H go to the pvp tab and just enter heart of the mist which is easier. All the more reason they should be free, i agree.

People usually complain about the classes they have had a personal experience with. I got beat by a Mesmer and at the time i thought he was OP, couldn’t hit him for all the clones, seemed to do massive damage. But in hindsight he was just playing well.

Thief and Warrior are common “omg so OP” classes cause they are the ones at your face. I play a thief and i can say its hard to get close to a good ranged player. Sword and pistol so no heartseeker spam.

How are people ok with Multiboxing but not ok with botting?

Multiboxing is no different, using a third-party program to gain income. Its wrong.

Edit: also why do people think using hardware instead of software makes it ok?

I personally, and surprisingly, am too bothered about the small amount of skills. What keeps me hooked in most games including this is customization. That does include skills and filling bars with cool abilities but mostly its down to gear. Its just a shame a lot of the gear isn’t all that good looking, but i’m sure Anet are gonna add plenty.

i don’t think they have or will tell anyone how it works exactly, to prevent botters from taking advantage.

there has been threads about this, i think dev’s said just take your free money and report them, you’re safe to do so.

These people, even under the circumstances given in my first paragraph, would be back here on the forums, demanding higher rewards for their farming to match those who aren’t. I guarantee it, because that’s how people who want handouts work.

I seriously doubt that, because there’s a difference between taking rewards away and rewarding variation.

They changed it so that you get more badges for doing different paths in dungeons, are people complaining that the easiest path should always be rewarded as much as doing 3 different paths? no!

But nobody in their right mind would call farming fun, or the opposition to it “bad game design.”

No killing a mob over and over isn’t fun. Gaining rewards to progress toward your goals is extremely fun. I can put music on and grind for hours happily knowing i will reach my goals.

You insult everyone with your first post and make out people shouldn’t be allowed to farm, have you actualy read how many people in here hate the DR system? Dont tell people what they should find fun.

I don’t know a good solution but i know that loot capping is not it, its punishing everyone for just playing the game. When Anet said they were gonna make a game without grinding, i didn’t realize they were gonna actually make it impossible.

When people say muti-boxing they almost definitely mean using a program to mimic commands to multiple computers, why would you think they mean manually using accounts?

Multi-boxing is most definitely wrong. This guy is doing no more work then anyone ells but getting 5 times the reward.

Did you guys get a badge appear above your mini-map like the map completion chests? you have to click that to receive your Gifts of exploration.

Been having this problem too even just standing in a city, the draw distance is stupidly short and is the same no matter what graphics settings you use. Its ridiculous when a huge zerg arrives in WvW.

In these screens you can see how short it is even when its not graphically intense.

I was about to make a thread about pretty much this. I’m after a legendary weapon and to get one you need 100% map completion and 500 badges.

I managed map completion by switching server but the badges i really hate. I found that doing the jumping puzzles gets you badges but for the last 2 days i can’t do them because idiots from the opposing servers still gank you even when you just trying to finish the puzzle. Pvp is forced and its makes me want to rage quit.

Dyes are generally cheap as it is, the only real expensive ones are Abyss, Celestial, Black, White and maybe Midnight Fire. It’s not all that hard to get the ones you want.

Is there any way to get lost items back? i lost a rare dye i got 10 minutes before the disconnect. I’m gutted.
