Guild Wars 2

Same problem Frame Rate has dipped to 15-20 with best performance. Before I was in 30-40 range with recommended settings.

Please give an official response!

I am also bugged. Letter just tells me to check back later.

Still having the problem. Re-installed DirectX and the game. Somebody? Anybody?

I don’t use SweetFX or even know what it is. I tried using the solution from Beldon it did not work. This is driving me nuts. BTW I tried to play GW 1 and took took off with no errors. This problem is only when I start GW 2.

I already tried to reinstall direct-x. Also, copying a DLL from an unknown source is not a good idea ever. I have checked other games on my completer. Guild Wars 2 is the only game doing this. Any other ideas?

Error message d3dx9_43.dll is missing when starting client.

This error just started tonight. I have changed nothing on my system, however there was a windows update. If I click on the OK button a couple of time the error goes away and the client starts up and as far as I can tell the game runs okay.

I am running Windows 8.1 with 8gb of ram, AMD A8-6500 APU with Radeon HD graphics. 64-bit Operating system.

Any help would be appreciated. So far I have tried a complete reboot of the system and tried to re install direct X.

I am frustrated with this. I have been sitting on these boxes for a while now and thought for sure that during the last maintenance it would have been resolved. At this point I would rather have my laurel points refuned and buy something else.

When you salvage a gold item there is chance that you will get more than one ecto per item. Therefore, if you get two you doubled your money. Best I have done is three ectos from one item. I have heard that folks have got as many as four.

PS. There is that chance you won’t get ANY ectos as well.
