Same for me, i can’t really make the much loved s/p combo work with my play style. Whilst i really love the pistol #4 illusion, i find myself standing issue at range, waiting fur weapon swap to come off cd.

That’s why i went for staff and great sword, both work fine for me since i love kiting

I wish writing any ticket or complaint here would actually lead to something – unfortunately from the experience of real life friends of mine the support just shrugs and you get a friendly answer along the lines of “sorry to hear, but just suck it up”

I’m “slightly” upset right now. I just put four yellow weapons into the Mystic Forge, clicked “forge”, the usual “emote” happened but there was no "Zomoros rewards you with …. ". There simply are the four free slots again, just as if nothing has happened.

I checked my inventory but there is nothing that could have come out of the Forge either (has to be at least of yellow quality and there is nothing in my bags).
I know what items I put into the Forge and I want them back !

Edit: I just tried to put some other items into the Forge to check if it works, but whatever item I try to drag in there is not accepted. Drag but no drop, it automatically reappears in my bags.

Edit 2: Could forge other items again, now, but still no output for my 4-yellow-weapons-forge

@Erin: but does a damaged item not also mean that the stats on it are deduced ?

So basically having e. g. 4 items with each 30 CD would result in your toon having 120 CD less?

I think “Eat my dust” is a lot better for him than chosing e. g. “you are dumb and when you die you will leave a dumb corpse” or “I am death incarnate”

Or even worse the Tamini insults “you mongrels” etc.

An ArenaNet person has already admitted that some NPC audio loops need to be taken care of and I know that some already has happened in that regard (thank you, standing at the Hoelbrak TP now is a lot more comfortable).

However you might have overlooked the Tamini at some stage.

I’m okay with them being a rather vocal race but have you ever done the event “Hold Heatwood Pass camp”? A dozen Tamini shouting their insults at the same time becomes a very upsetting cacophony.

I hope this is the right forum section, otherwise please move the topic.

I have taken LOADS of screenshots and they always got saved in the “documents” folder, being automatically named e.g. gw307.jpg etc.
Yesterday I apparently unnoticedly arrived at gw999.jpg and the screenies I took afterwards are simply gone. They were not saved anywhere, they were not re-named, they just are not there? It’s important since they were of an interesting fight and sight and I’d really love to find them.

Any ideas where they might have been saved? Or are they simply gone for good / not saved at all?

I have btw. now stored all old screenies in a different folder to enable the game to save my new screenshots again, but, as I said, I’d love to have the others, too.

I have tried basically everything, shouting at the Shadow Fiend, drowning it in water, trying to kill it, sacrifying it … it still snores. Honestly, exploring Tyria with me is not THAT boring

I just logged my Necro, summoned my pet (Shadow Fiend) and … EEK … it snores!

Is that horribly annoying noise (in my opinion, others might like it gulp) new or is it just me upping the master volume ?

Anyways, I feel I can’t play with this pet right now, it is freaking me out to have a loud snorr following me around all the time shiver

Only because there is a stack of 2k + items on the TP that does not mean yours will never sell – the amount of buyers and the demand is huge as well.

(I know what I’m talking of, I sell stacks of hundreds of items even though the current listing says 17k + ;-) )

I get your point, but would like to talk about a different satement you made:

Are you saying this from a seller’s perspective? If so: why?
If the lowest seller is demanding X copper, why would you undercut that by 5 (which at best, when talking of coppers, is 5% but could also be consistenly more)? This “ruins” economy and prices.

Your items will get sold even if you actually ask the same as the lowest seller – actually they will sell immediately. There is no reason to undercut and there are no punishments for meeting the lowest sellers’ prices.

he is talking about Asura PLAYERS in Kryta and wonders how they managed to get from Metrica to Kryta and if they did so by foot.

I actually think she turned out great with her gothic look, fitting the Necromancer profession

I feel the following situation is a bit ironic:

People claim the PS are rather hard and suggest you do them once you slightly outlevel them

vs.

The end reward you get is 2 levels below the suggested level

example:

My Necro’s personal story was level 10 – and I was happy to have done it on level and alone, but was really a bit underwhelmed when what I got as reward was level 8 stuff

Is this WAI? Is this different in higher levels?

That’s what I was asking: Is it the same stuff your toon wears whilst being created and armor being unticked or is it something different?

I often find myself running from one pile of coins on the mini map to the next to the next , talking to all those vendor NPCs who are willing to sell me food, drinks, other stuff but not what I acutally want: salvage, mining, logging, gathering kits !!

Could they please please please get a different icon above their head and on the maps to make players’ lives a bit easier?
A slightly different colour or one pile of coins more or whatever would already do the trick!

Worst for me is the constant repetition of voice action at the Trading Post. I am one of those players who spends a lot of time there in Hoelbrak and the NPC talking every few seconds is driving me nuts.

I don’t want to mute the ingame sounds only to re-activate them when I am somewhere else and I don’t want to put off my headphones – I just please please please please want the Trade Post NPCs to shut up

Maybe there could be an option to tick / untick these kind of NPC voice actions?

If this is the uglyiest thing you have ever seen then I honestly congratulate you to the enormous amount of aesthetics and beauty that is surrounding you – I see a lot worse than floppy big Asura ears every morning on my way to work.
I also have to endure the sight of Charrs when in game, and their teeth and toes are a lot worse than my Asura’s floaty ears, too

On a more serious note:
Imagine your Asura to be a dog – even those with floppy ears prick them up when attentive, and being in fight definitely requires attentiveness.
Once you’re back to relax-mode your ears can hang around, too

Unfortunately belonging to a race that invented waypoints does not entitle you to use them if you have not activated them before, so this suggestion is a bit pointless.

This is how to get your toon to all cities:
- once you are out of the introduction area, press H (hero) and the PvP-tab
- click “Go to the heart of the Mists” (top left)
(- if you (accountwide) have not been there before, do the short 3 intro-hearts)
- run to the Asura gate opposite the field
- port to Lion’s Arch
- from LA use the Asura gates to every main city
- exit the cities to the race’s starting zone
- done

Ok – I’m in serious trouble now and quite angry, too

I have had a huge stack of an item on the trading post for a price that has been reasonable and met for the last days. I put the stack on to the TP yesterday and afterwards the price dropped for about 5-10% until some few hours ago, where the price is again meeting my entry.

There are now 30k + items at the same price that I am offering at, but my items don’t get sold (they are “old”) whereas new entries immediately sell.

If I now remove my items from the selling-list and re-enter them (at the same price) I would sell them immediately – plus ANet would earn my listing fee.

This seems not fair at all – please sell older entries first!!

Isn’t it just quite sad that Asura should be able to invent / build golems and cities like Rata Sum but are not able to train their cobblers to make better shoes?

I’m trying to tell myself that all the asuran minds are just to genial to be bothered with such vanity.

Its not an Asura – problem, all races have it.

What would the alternative be? Clipping issues with pony tails sticking out of the back of the hat?

In that case I’d rather go for a bald head with hat. Since we can untick the helmet it should not be a problem.

I have two Asura characters that just work fine for me.

1) Asura Engineer – it’s cute with a rifle or a flame thrower
(this one looks like a white bald bunny with huge blue eyes)

2) Asura Mesmer – very cool as well, especially when there are several (includinig clones) running around the enemy.
