You can also earn badges of honor doing the jumping puzzles in WvW as well as some NPC’s (which I don’t recommend proactively farming NPC’s in WvW).

This is my opinion and feedback based on my own personal gameplay experience.

It has become common knowledge that the trading post does charge a 5% front-end fee to sellers as well as a 10% back-end fee to the same seller.

I do feel that guilds that players are in should receive a portion of those fees to support guild operations. For example- I would say 1% of the front-end fee goes to the sellers guild (5% is still taken, if the player is guildless then no guild can claim and the 5% is taken out all together).

How the system handles the rest would be up to constraints of the current system. If the money is meant to be taken out of- then the guilds can receive credits that can be used in lieu of actual coin for upgrades to the guild or upgrading locations in WvW.

This is my feedback from my gameplay and experience in WvW.

I would like to see a guild bonus implemented that allows guilds that have claimed a location within a particular WvW map- to be able to reserve a limited amount of WvW slots.

Those slots should be specific amount, the bonus be trained with a time limit as well as dependent on the location claimed. For example, supply camps 2 slots, tower/keeps 5, castles 10.

It is difficult for any guild to make any form of arrangements in the near as well as long term in regards to what to expect on their own performance. Providing an opportunity to identify at least have the minimum amount of people can be a valuable tool, i.e., ‘I don’t know how many people we will get in- but I know we can get in at least 5 of our people at any given moment to ensure we have proper defense at Wildcreek.’

[Feedback] Eternal Battlegrounds - Recommend Level Cap 60

This is my opinion and providing feedback from my gameplay experience.

Eternal Battlegrounds – as a sole entity, I feel should be allowed to character level 60 and above. Server battlegrounds should remain as is.

Seeing that EB is the largest WvW element and that WvW has been identified as being some of the ‘end-game’ content GW2 does provide- I do feel that EB should properly reflect both of those points.

Some of the benefits:
- Lower some of the queue times to keep higher level character interested in WvW (can’t be interested if you can’t get into the map).
- Level the playing field in terms of traits as well as gear (this should close the disparity gap between a level 15 buffed to 80 than a level 67 buffed to 80).
- Implements a learning curve as to where players can ‘graduate’ from server sided battlegrounds to EB. (Server side battlegrounds do tend to be more forgiving in that players can explain more on the mechanics of events as to where EB can be more active with players more focused on results).
- Prevent issus such as ‘yaking’ in the past, where large amounts of players will defend the yak to quickly level instead of just having to take it away.
- Give guilds and alliances a large playing field to coordinate events

Negatives:
- Some players might want to WvW with higher level friends and won’t be able to due to the cap.
- Newer servers with little to none server transfers would require ‘catching-up’ as people leveled.

I am all for having a chest near the asura gate that acts as an overflow that people can claim before leaving.

I know during normal WvW, there are plenty of times where loot bags fail to generate within a reasonable amount of time due to the volume of people within the area.

Anyone who has earned the loot bag should have a feasible option to be rewarded properly.

Does anyone use the Mortar in PvE?

I do like mortar elite skill and find it fun- but I personally feel supply crate being far better in most situations.

If you are specced more towards Grenadier or EoD-(bomb), then I do feel mortar might be a more viable option.

A key difference though is- supply crate, you are able to move and gain effectiveness of the skill. Mortar- you are locked down into a position without any mobility.

Had it been an auto-mortar turrent type (player can remote control mortar), then I might feel different.

I would prefer an additional indicator than just hoping to catch the effect animation to trigger the effect.

Rendering does become an issue when facing greater than usual amount of players in a location, and depending on just seeing the mist isn’t helpful.

I do feel that there should be a hierarchy when guilds claim a location. Since a guild can claim a single location, it is far too easy to accidently claim another location.

When a guild does have a claim to a location- I would like to see a confirmation message asking to verify the change to claim.

Also- any additional information on who has current claim to a location would be helpful. As well as a system that a guild with a greater presence has to friendly challenge a claim on a keep. (For example, if player A represents Guild A that can provide greater buffs than Guild B can provide- they should be given the ability to help everyone out by being able to take the location).

You retain the buff when you switch kits. Juggernaut is a great skill and is perfect for a pyro build.

Other with EoD (bomb) and Mechanic (toolkit) type builds, toughness shouldn’t be a concern to other builds.

I made it to 80+ without any need or desire to go grenadier or use the grenade kit.

Some people like using the grenades- personally I don’t.

Amount of actual people healing is working fine and heals appropiate number of entities in WvW. The heal value does not scale to actual hp players have in WvW though and is only about 2% per pulse.

Grenades only viable option in WvW/PvE?

Grenadier is a feasible option in WvW but I do feel that it involves being able to place AoE’s properly to be effective. I personally would us it more with defensive than offensive operations.

As EoD- I do not feel the bomb kit is a feasible kit for WvW. By the time you rush into a group to drop bombs, you will be cc’ed, knocked down and dead before you do any effective damage. At most- you might get lucky to find yourself in the middle of 2 groups while they are still rendering and get some bombs off.

Cleansing Burst does not seem to be working properly as I am failing to see the burst healing when activing. I do see conditions being removed- but do not see heal values for people being healed within the 360 radius (which also the radius is too small given the turrents overal effective radius).

Unable to explode missle turrents in water

I have been unable to explode missle turrents in water and have to manual pick-up the turrents or exit the water to do so.

This has been repeatable each and every time.

Reproduction
1) Enter water.
2) Summon Turrent.
3) Attempt to click on utility (default F keys) to explode.

Note: If I have missle turrent equipped for land combat, the missle turrent will remain active in the water when exit also.

Elixir Gun Feedback

Elixir Gun has great potential but I do feel that I would like to see additional skills to focus on the potential of Super Elixir.

My recommendations I would like to see:

1) Allow players to select a skill from inventions that increase the radius of Super Elixir as well as healing turrent Cleansing Burst.

2) Be able to increase the base value of super elixir to reflect buffed HP in WvW (basically 20k+).

I would like to see the ability to select a particular character that would identify my server, guild and character name in lieu of the account identifier (in my case Telemachos.2370).

The reason why I do say this- in case there is a second or third Telemachos (such as a bizarro Telemachos.0732 or Telemachos thats owes one Telemachos.0731) posting a thread. I think it will be misleading to some people reading on which person actually made the post. I take it the intent of the red text is to stand out and people easily skim over forums (I know I don’t study them as seriouz businesz).

As such- this just might be feedback or whatever, but I am excited to see official GW2 forums in production- keep up the good work.

Just expires per character- as for the website- I don’t remember seeing a tool tip during the headstart period. I am not 100% sure.

When originally actiavting the golem banker- there was no description or information that stated the item had a limited 5 day usage. In which after 5 days, it would become worthless or if there was some possible way to recharge the item.

Had I known it had a limited duration- I would of saved the item and not tested out any of the items that I paid for.

This item should not have a duration and items purchased via gem store with an expiration time should have a confirmation message to ensure the user wants to activate it.

People should be compensated with any additional golem banker or be able to recharge the golem due to the falter of mechanics and lack of information provided.
