FEAR moved off to FA, but they’re near dead with only 10-15 players that joined. RET left, and they had some good players, but they were small as well. They also moved to FA.

SoX left to JQ because the guild leader got paid I believe. Most of their members stayed here, so they really don’t matter. XPK also moved to JQ, and they were decent.
Overall, 4 guilds moved off, but none of them really contributed that much. The people that did move off were small, maybe 50 overall. Most people stayed loyal.

[ftp] feelthepain is recruiting hardcore wvw players on the Sea of Sorrows server. We have two separate branches in the guild, pvE and hardcore WvW. Why do certain people from BG care whether SoR puts up a fight or not? Worry about your own server, and let SoR handle it’s own. The politics and health of another server shouldn’t be anyone’s business but their own, regardless of who they are.

The vast majority of the BG posters that post their vitriol, have some unhealthy hate for SoR. Holy crap, it’s a game. Is this the common mentality of people these days? To irrationally hate someone they’ve never met, to the point of wishing that their community will implode?

The anonymity of the internet makes it so easy for someone’s true nature to shine through. That’s not always a good thing to see.

e.g. Fann Wong. Every post I see from him is diplomatic and friendly/kind in nature. I won’t name names for the opposite types. You know who you are, and it would likely result in the post being removed.

TLDR: mind your own server business, and let SoR take care of it’s own.

Read up on some of the history behind SoR and BG/SoS and you’ll see it is well deserved. SoR had this coming.

It’s fueled even more by the fact that when SoR caused SoS to implode, many of us went to BG and that a few weeks ago, they were trying to bully SoS as many people from SoS have said so in this thread.

The whole server did all this? I don’t recall doing any of that. I log in to WvW, and try to simply have fun, and play.

You are holding an entire server accountable for the actions of a select few. I daresay, if you peeled back all the crap every server is layered in, you would be hard pressed to tell them apart.

So if you want to gloat, hate, and all the other ugly emotions, knock yourself out. Just focus it properly.

I don’t hold BG accountable for all the vitriol you and the other posters here are spewing.

Edit: The fortunes of servers rise and fall. SoR’s star is fading. Bg could be next, for all you know. I’m a firm believer in karma, if nothing else. So revel in the glory you’re feeling, but if your time comes and BG falls into decline, remember your treatment of SoR and the other servers.

Why don’t you go and teach your server people to behave before coming and preaching to us?

As for logging in and having fun, oh we are having fun have no doubt in it.

And for remembering the treatment, i hope SoR remembers the treatment they gave to SoS and BG.

im not to sure about this, the quality and skill of SOS has increased insanely over the last few times we’ve gone up against them and im sure its the same for MAG also. Look guys, it’s clear what SOR is doing. When they are matched together with SBI against a 3rd server, they can tag team. In return, when we are matched against SOR with a 3rd server (JQ or BG) we can return the favour and play kingmaker by focusing on disrupting SOR.

There’s nothing wrong with this, just watch a few seasons of Survivor to understand how politics works. But let’s not assume that everyone should play fair and hold others to our own ideals of honor.

That’s my point though. It would be far easier to steal the rating from SoR than it will be to take the few assets that SoS owns on the map. SoS and SBI tick for about the same amount except for Ocn time – meaning they own about the same number of assets. They have fewer assets to capture and we’re not going to be able to take all their stuff. Plus, it will just kitten them off so they focus us harder thus undermining our goal even further.

Meanwhile, SoR paints most of the map green.

I’ve been training with one of the SBI WvW guilds lately (2 weeks before the match-up) and I have relatively good relations with some of your commanders (Yulo & Star Player). I also have much respect for the [Abys] guild. I know how this can be done legitimately without hacking or using a 3rd party program.

Do drop me a message and I’ll organize workshop on where the AC can be placed for it to hit the right spots. /notrolling.

The reason why I am particularly concerned about accusations was because my ex-guild was accused of botting and a few of the commanders were auto-banned for no real reason. They were quickly unbanned but that really left a sour taste in the mouth. I want to assure you that a large part of SOR are honorable folks, the leadership do quite a bit of work to make sure that the community stays safe.

I hate to break it to you, but there are certain AC spots that can hit that particular area. Without a picture of where the AC was, there’s no way we can reach any conclusion.

not only that but the gate is down… theres LOS. Also we went tagless and noone apart from sos (until they went back to objectives) wanted to give us fights when we had less numbers.

SoR zerg more next time, can’t take the tower with relatively even numbers so you have to bring a whole map queue to take a paper tower against 15 defenders.

SoR zerg more next time, can’t take the tower with relatively even numbers so you have to bring a whole map queue to take a paper tower against 15 defenders.

It is always cute when people flatter themselves and think they are more important than they really are. A more likely scenario is that bored groups are jumping at any hint of action because there is no one to fight.

For all your talk, how bout you not sit out and rally up SOS people… Some people should just not post as the kitten they say is just a wall of contradictory text. SOS has a t1 amount of ocx, you guys should be rallying, learning and bringing it. SBI on the other hand, mad props, u guys are great.
