Now with the fall of lion´s arch they promised to move everything into the vigil keep, but that simply didn´t happen ( or it did but u have to PAY money for it).

They promised to move everything “LA-exclusive” to the Vigil keep which they did. There are retrainers in every major city, every starter zone, every WvW map. Shouldn’t be too hard to click enter the mists, leave the mists right?

Just saying, but on home border you usually push the home server. That’s not called double teaming.

And you’d die of retal. AoE cap wouldn’t solve anything. Be happy there is an AoE cap!

Skill will always win. Sad enough, AC’s don’t involve skill. AC’s are the problem, not zergs.

What if I told you that there are hardly any South American on BB?

And what if I told you that Spanish people have a different schedule then us northern Europeans?

As an international guild on a spanish server we first fought BB and were convinced that they had so much latino’s nightcapping the kitten out of maps. We were wrong. There are hardly any South Americans on BB, maybe 0.5%. Most play in NA tiers. Why you ask? Because they most likely prefer to play during primetime.
Now what happens during European primetime for BB is this. Around 8-9pm CEST a lot of spanish people go for dinner and return around 11pm CEST to play again. That gives BB a very strong late-evening and makes other servers log (I can understand, we fought BB before aswell).

Now I agree there is something wrong with nightcapping but removing national servers won’t solve this. The spanish people will just flock to another international server and make it the unofficial spanish server which will have the same nightcap as BB now. Anet already stated they were looking into rewarding points differently (see the blogpost from a couple of weeks ago).

Why do you play WvW? I play it for the great fights during primetime against amazing guilds and pug commanders with their zergs. It’s still a game and you should have a fun!

Vizunah, heard lots about it, interesting to final play against you!

This has been a very great week, both Kodash and SFR are great servers to fight against with a lot of guilds! We’ve done GvG’s against [ECL], [Opt] and [Rise] and really enjoyed them. Also the organized fights with [CoN] were great fun, massive respect to all of you guys!

Very relax atmosphere in this matchup, love it! Hope we can continue next week

I can confirm that BB is 99.5% spaniards, 0.1% italians and 0.4% south americans. Before we transfered to BB we (Scnd, international guild) were under the impression that BB had alot of South Americans after our experiences against their nightcap when we played on Piken. Nevertheless we were very wrong. The flags on the BB TS proofed us wrong and all explanations given before are true. Spanish people tend to take a break from 8-11pm for dinner and relaxing (good weather, can’t blame them to not sit inside and game then!). At around 11pm they come back for gaming.

And if you don’t believe the given reasons of cultural lifestyle difference, go sulk in a corner far far away but please don’t mess up a nice, friendly matchup thread.

If someone claims that Baruch Bay got the same disconnect at 11pm in their borderland also; and ANet confirms this then i rest my case on this issue. But if it happens to be someone exploiting it wouldn’t go down well.

Enjoyable raid tonight. Had to move from BB BL to PSBL because of the lag and crashes. Nice open field fights vs HoB, VoTF, RG. Respect for HoB/VoTF for not engaging ongoing fights

At the start of primetime you could still use siege. The bug must’ve been something that the siege limit counter was not decreased when siege was destroyed/timed-out. It was only later at night the real trouble started and no siege could be placed whatsoever.

Could have been an awesome night yesterday but Anet decided otherwise. We had to call raid before 9pm because of game freezes and dc’s and that on a night RG and INC came to visit our border . Hope to fight you guys again this week while we still can! o7

Nice to see BB have already taught [Scnd] how to play properly, always hold hands when near each other so you don’t get lost. That nightcapping you guys do is just rediculus and i cant understand whats the fun with that.

How can you even say that and afterwards throw a million gollems to reset the full of EB? BB is a solid server with great WvW guilds, it would be a shame to see them go T2. Yes they have a strong nighttime, but we have a strong daytime/russian primetime. Haven’t seen any BB ‘voting’ to let us go up.

Great reset last night, awesome to see a massive turnout from all servers! We had some great fights against DsD, BuLL and especially siN (<3 great to see you back!).
Loved the little roleplaying at the end with the BuLLs and the rest of the siN leftovers.

They went to that server because they want to fight servers that don’t blob and have solid guilds. Take it as a compliment and stop ruining the good reputation the guilds and friendlies have build on PS.

Hard revives only out of combat is a very good way for smaller guild raids to totally destroy unorganised zergs.

If it doesn’t change reset is at 1am British Summer Time and 2am Central European Summer Time.
