In my eyes is BT the weakest skill that steal something and unlike Arcane Thievery, have the stealing boons from BT (and FS) only a duration of ~5 secs.

Having this trait on and stealing on someone with multiple stacks of might will only grant you 1 stack, unlike arcane thievery from mesmer for example which actually grants you 3 oons regardless of how many stacks they have?
So shouldn’t bountiful theft also steal a full stack of might since it’s considered 1 boon when using the mesmer boon stealing utility?
Healing signet needs NO NERF , don’t listen to the whiner . Warrior has no sustain outside of high regen . Those hammer dmg nodes nerf are perfect . But im dissapointed about thief changes honestly , S\D is the only viable build anet
The change to initiative regain baseline is a huge buff to ALL thief builds, so don’t jump so early to those conclusions!
How so really? I never found myself having the issue of my initiative not regening fast enough in a fight..only way I can win a fight is doing big damage and avoiding the enemy’s damage because if I sit in front of him I will drop first due to our squishyness..regaining faster initiative doesn’t really help?

What should vizunah do there? Jump in to contest T3 keep for you guys so you guys can keep running back to res lord over and over?

Thank you but what about client side optimizations? We were promised some major engine/client side optimizations to improve our fps in WvW 6~ months ago, has this project been dropped because I haven’t seen anything regarding client performance since then
I was really excited for some great engine optimizations to allow us poor folk to have above 10 fps in the somewhat big WvW battles, any more news on this matter or is the issue seen as ‘solved’ with the addition of low res models?

I agree with you Imperialist, I feel like an option for low `res` particle effects would really help us poor folk on low to medium end PCS
As the title says, are the promised performance optimizations still in progress? A few months back when you guys talked about removal of WvW culling you also said that you will be making some big performance optimizations to help us low end users have at least double digit FPS in cities and in areas with a lot of people.
Is the low-res option the optimization you spoke off or is there something else still in the works?

It’s like people can’t understand the INTENTION of having a 1v1v1 is so that the top server has to face two others, potentially ganging up on you because you know, you are on top.
Boggles the mind.
Why would the 3rd place server gang up on the 1st place server? Wouldn’t it make sense for the 3rd place to focus on the 2nd place so that they can move up? 3rd place gains nothing by focusing on the 1st place
Also I told people it can be used to make ori ore in the mystic forge using 250 of it. So yeah, my fault.
I doubt that’s the reason as you’ll come out with a loss if you do it
ArenaNet said changes/addition to WvW are coming in February so if you want to wait 3 more months for maybe a chance at getting something
It’s not hard if you do the jumping puzzles, but I agree that the drop rate is too low.
There’s something wrong with the fact that if I do all 4 jump puzzles and then spend the entire day playing WvW, I’ll have gotten more badges from the jump puzzles.
Also the gear is just ugly:
Doing all 4 jumping puzzles gets you about 18~ badges a day, how is this even a remotely decent income of badges? You need about 20 days of doing jumping puzzles (80 jump puzzles) to get 1 piece of gear out of 13.
No downed ability should allow one to go through their tower door and get ressed back safely from downed, no other class has this ability why should eles?
Nerf downed abilities so people don’t have to burn utilities just to finish off a downed player
Ummmmmmm… as an Elementalist, I can assure you, you cannot stomp in mist form. The option doesn’t even come up. You can’t do anything but move and jump. Given the number of times I’ve been stealth stomped, I wish it were otherwise.
An elementalist complains about downed, the class that can travel the furthest and can go inside their tower/keep if they are downed outside of it and they can do this while invulnerable…ridiculous

How does my character rendering prevent him from using a stun breaker? He didn’t see his HP going down or he didn’t see that he was stunned and couldn’t move? He sat there for the entire duration of my stun (1.5 seconds) and then 2 more heartseekers, that’s ample time to react in some way like dodging or using a blink or whatever other stun breaker a mesmer has. It’s not arenanet’s job to deal with people that have really bad reflexes
You realize that some stun breaks require an enemy target, yes? Like, for instance, decoy. Granted blink isn’t one of them but there are certainly times i don’t run blink depending on the scenario. Not saying he is the best player ever, I would have no idea, but acting like you are the best player ever for playing a clearly imbalanced small scale class while insisting there is nothing to see here is pretty cute. Awesome reflexes!!!!!

Nice to see all the sore losers from JQ show back up at the entrance to the EB JP in the last few days. I had hopped to see a little more maturity in T1 instead of the typical unsportsmanlike conduct that I have seen everywhere else. But from what I have seen in the past 2 weeks, I guess JQ didn’t get to T1 for being honorable gamers.
BTW whatever thief that is camping in there that is 2 hitting me while remaining stealthed the whole time, nice build, I have 2k tough and 23k hp.
Ha ha, that was me I think i killed you like twice or three times while you were running down the stairs trying to get portaled or to the invis fountain? BTW you were one of the few that I couldn’t kill through the duration of the basilisk venom stun.
Protip: Use a stun breaking spell/utility, you just stood there while I pwned on you for over 2 seconds..
He probably couldn’t see you. I can understand why so many people complain about thieves. Mainly…stealth. Its not your fault or any other players fault. The devs should be ashamed that such a issue is still around.
I don’t want to exaggerate but, many times when I encounter thieves they are stealthed the entire time while attacking me. I only see the visible for maybe 4-5 secs, which during that period they are on the run. Then they stealth again and go perma invisible.

I agree with making player die when they alt f4 and xp/loot dropping- after having had this happen numerous times and missing out on a lot of kills and loot it can become annoying- a bit like thiefs being able to hit 8k4k4k in .5 of a second from stealth before you can even react your dead.
The downside of that is that they will just start logging to character selection right before they are downed and bypass the system again that’s why I suggested a debuff for disconnecters

i think they should add a fifth downed button that simply exits the game and actively encourages this behavior.
i much prefer my enemies i have defeated to leave the game completely. i know they are so beaten they are either out of the running altogether, or at best have a longer time to return to any actual objectives.
its sort of like a fatality the way i look at it. one that leaves my server as a whole in a better position.
Problem is people are not getting any rewards(badges/gear) for killing them and getting back to were they were before after logging out to character selection screen doesn’t take that long
I think this would the best solution to counter people that alt+f4 when they are downed, a 20 minute debuff that doesn’t allow you to reenter WvW but this only applies if you don’t leave WvW through the entrance portal. While this might affect a few people that crash/disconnect due to bad computer/internet I think that it is a necessary evil to get rid of these blatant griefers

Although SoS has about 30-40ish people from the guild CCTV camping the EB puzzle guess its one of the contributing factors for their low potential points at the momnet
I agree with more skins, I’ve been using krytan since launch now and I’d love some new one that I can purchase with gems
Is it intentionally disabled due to technical issues of some sort or just a bug? At the moment it doesn’t do anything the only time the custom order list refreshes is if you close the tp or go to another tab

Ability is pretty pointless seeing as how almost every class has 2 downed interrupt abilities you’re usually better off attacking them to death
In order to address the culling issue we need to ensure that clients, including min-spec clients, are able to handle rendering and processing many more characters. We also need to ensure that the bandwidth needed by any given client remains reasonable and falls within our min-spec for connectivity. The WvW team is working to address both the bandwidth and the client performance issues even now. The changes that we’re making are complex and have a large impact on the way the game engine works.
I am especially worried about us minimum spec low fps people that are already suffering hard in WvW zergs even with invisible enemies, please please tell me that you will have a patch that drastically improves performance on the minimum spec side of things before implementing this as to not make WvW completely unplayable for us poor folks
Think of the trading post as a whole. These restrictions aren’t made to inconvenience you.

Most likely performance issues. It appears every service/server ArenaNet has is overwhelmed and running at maximum capacity, WvW servers, normal map servers, login server, trading post servers, they all seem to be rather unoptimized and easily crash during max traffic hours

Nope, it’s just a terribly designed trait. It picks randomly, so you only get a 20% chance of any type recharging
What do you mean randomly? Randomly between what? It randomly rehashes all tricks, all deceptions or all venoms even if you’re not using any deceptions or venoms??

Deadly Arts “VII” talent – Stealing recharges all skills of one type(venoms, signets, traps, tricks or deceptions)
Is this skill bugged or is there some hidden gimmick to it? I’m using caltrops which is obviously a “trick” then I use steal on someone successfully but caltrops cooldown isn’t always rehashed. Am I doing something wrong here or is there an internal “hidden” cooldown?
I thought we were supposed to get nerfed in the burst department and get buffed in other ones such as condition builds?

That’s the current behavior, my question is if we know that this is in fact intended by ArenaNet or just a bug that people assume is just the intended behavior. The current behavior of it just seems a little odd to me which is why I’m asking

You do not get revealed if (after) 4 seconds of shadow refuge passed. But quite often you will lose the stealth visual on your character without losing stealth buff from cc abilities.But is it intended for us to instantly get revealed even if we have stealth built up?
