You can sometimes crit and hit the next level. I have crafted this exact set and can confirm it is the same recipe. I would suggest trying until you get the correct gloves.

Elementalists are the bane of my warriors existence. Even if I get the upper hand on them in a fight they just run away. And then if I down them they instantly mist away into their team and get saved. Ugh.

I regularly hit 25k+ on a full channel of 100 blades. My highest single crit that I have noticed was in SPVP and was a 12k eviscerate on a thief. I was overjoyed when I hit that as that particular thief had been ranging me down all match. That jerk.

It took me 55 tries for my Plush Griffon Tonic., I raged. But at least I have them all now

I believe Anet was referring more to stats when they were talking about there being no grind. It is very easy to get exotic level stats. And that makes all of the content easily accessible. You don’t have to farm these dungeons again and again just to move on to harder dungeons like in other MMO’s. Get some exotic gear, do almost everything. You want a cool look? Then you have to put a little effort in.

And honestly, speaking from years of experience from other MMO’s, the only way to make token gear easier to get is if they put in a vendor where it was free to grab. I was surprised at how fast I got a full set of it. I mean what are people interested in doing in this game if not doing content? Looking pretty afk in Lions Arch?

I do it once per day for the reward. At most it takes me 2 tries. I can’t understand why people are having trouble with it.

I am excited that most of these Endless Wintersday Tonics turn you into things that can jump. I am a full height Charr and have experienced some difficulty with jumping in the past. But now I can turn into a Princess Doll and have no camera issues! If only it would me change when I am in the Winsterday puzzle :\

It is not a bug. In the item description it has the word “unique”. This means you can only equip one of that specific item. There is always two rings that have the exact same stats as each other but they are named different. I can understand how you made that mistake however. Sorry friend.

Lol, I was doing this in the Clocktower JP in between runs and I would get my ele friend to become a tornado on me. People were amaaaaaaazzzzzzzzed!

To the posters insulting people who bought keys and expected an item:

We aren’t talking about the US economy or housing market. We’re talking about a stupid video game where people want to run around with a pumpkin rifle. Based on colorful advertising and good faith, a lot of people paid some money with the understanding that doing so would give them a “chance” at those items.

That “chance” is being proven to be aggressively small. Different people came into this with different expectations, but I do think its safe to say that the cost of keys, coupled with the tiny percent chance of a skin, equates to a more cynical policy than fans of Anet anticipated.

Fair enough. Lesson learned. Personal responsibility also means licking your wounds and moving on. Those that feel they got misled, will be less likely to give Anet cash like that on impulse.

In my opinion, that’s bad business for Anet, and less fun for the players who weren’t so lucky. It didn’t have to be that way, and I don’t think there is ANY harm in lambasting Anet for this mess. They can, and should do better by their players.

Extremely disappointed with the drop rate from the chests. Way to put a dark cloud over an otherwise very fun event. Hope your enjoying your money and your dissatisfied customers.

Yep, I am unable to delete the character I wish to reroll. I also can’t get into CoF on my main because that is bugged. So both things I wanted to do tonight are bugged lol.
