LOL!
Are you trying to force us to play HoT in order to get more hero points or something? Oh well that’s fine I got everything I needed without having to waste time on HoT.
Okay let’s be realistic, many of us, especially those who just hit 80, don’t have a full set of cele gear, let alone enough to even make a difference. So what would be a good set of armor and trinket stats?
In WvW I like using LB and whenever someone comes after me I drop trap and switch to GS to bang it out toe to toe. My question is… would it be more efficient and effective to continue using LB instead of switching to GS? Or maybe would hammer be a better choice?
Any tips would be great, thanks.
Donari, yes that was very helpful! Thank you!
Um yeaaa.
No. HoT masterys can only be unlocked by doing HoT content. You can’t lvl them by doing pvp or wvw. Besides, unlocking a first glider mastery takes about 45 min, even less if you have some booster or food doing metaevent on verdant brink. Seems unfair right? Since you have to do xpac content for unlocking masterys you can only use in xpac content. Crazy right?
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did I say anything about unlocking HoT masteries outside of HoT content?! NO! I said unlock the Maguuma hero challenges, which you can do in WvW. Reading comprehension… crazy, right?!
Going back to WvW then lol
Only wanted to get the HoT hero challenges, but a lot of those require mastery unlocks. Seems like I can get them faster through WvW
Really frustrated with this map. I have no idea what to do. I finished the beginning story missions but then it just stuck me in the middle of this map and tells me I need to unlock the glider mastery to progress. How do I do this?
At this point, it’s much easier doing WvW to unlock hero points.
I can’t wait till they nerf it so we can jump on the next OP class. It’s a never ending cycle until they buff the weaker classes instead of nerfing everything.
Also, lol at the QQ. Because they will always QQ no matter what.
An ele that stays in one attunement is like a hockey player playing with half a stick and only one skate.
I use Dagger/Focus for a more fast-paced style than staff. Ele was my first build, and is currently my main build. I’m still learning how to play ele, but my learning really skyrocketed when I switched over to D/F because you get a feel on how to change attunements on the fly and taking a mental note on the cooldowns of your skills on non-active attunements. Also you learn to stack plenty of might, which is beneficial for both you and those around you (should you run into a group event).
Leveling up I’ve never really bought any gear. You get decent gear from drops and from story missions that will carry you all the way to 80.
Autodetect used to put my games at max settings, and the game ran well at a solid 60fps. With the 64 bit client, autodetect lowers all my settings to low….. why?! Does that mean that the 64 bit client isn’t properly detecting my hardware?
Let’s nerf all the classes and just have everyone play as Skritts in pvp.
Would also like to add that I’m a newer player also.
Yes I’m using sword/axe and have really only found Sword 3 to be the most useful, and the evade utility skill to be the second most useful. But I haven’t tried impossible odds and auto attacking… I’m sure that would pump out much more dps than sword 3. I’ve really only been using it as a way to travel faster.
Any more advice?
Is it just me or does the profession just feel a little bland? My main is an ele and when I started a rev it was pretty fun at first. But it’s starting to feel a little stale and kind of lacking that oomph. I feel pretty underpowered, maybe I’m doing something wrong? To be honest though ele felt like that in the beginning and didn’t start getting better until later on. Does rev get any better?
Rev is lvl 20 btw
