Pretty much. Warms my heart that I got my gold 1st place leaderboard ego stroking imaginary medal and stopped while I was on top.

I must say that I can see the problem with solo queue mixed with premades.

Some problems I found with it.

1. Unfair matches can lead to absolute blow outs.
2. Premades versus pugs is rarely competitive.
3. Premades versus pugs is an un fun experience for the pugs.
4. (and this is my favorite) Waiting 12 minutes in queue to get a full pug versus premade game only to get stomped into the ground.

However pros are
1. Queue times. More people playing = faster queue times. Dividing the queues would result in much higher queue times and mine are already 10 minutes average solo queue.
2. Solo que players are given handicaps to help them deal with losing more games.
3. Pro/Con Encourages people to team up and play more seriously.

Yeah I aint gonna lie I think its BS that the engy shield is better than the warrior shield 5. Its the same thing, but the engineer one has a shorter cooldown.

This tournament thingy is almost over! 2 weeks left to go and we can all stop try harding to get our armor and llamas. The leaderboard will be gone and with it we shall wash away the stain that is the delusion that we at the top are actually good or deserve our spots. GLORIOUS is this day brothers and sisters!

In all seriousness though I am so glad this is coming to an end. I feel this tourny was way to long and needs to be shortened down. It was more of a grind and battle of who had more no life then who was actually good.

What do you think of this massive pvp ladder grind? Are you as happy as me that its almost over?

As the current #1 guy on the leader board I agree with all of the above. Leader board is absolute trash and is in no way an example of skill.

I have noticed a surplus of absolute kittened people playing as of late and have suffered for it greatly. Funnily enough my solo queue was going much better when there were turrets because now all the turret rejects have to play something else and that something else ends up my team it seems.

Make it stop… MAKE IT STOP.

Nobody likes playing against your try hard 3 turret engi 1 shoutbow and 1 lich necro party. You guys literally spam the ranked Q and just farm with super skillfull builds.

And then people wonder why nobody plays this game any more. All you do is make people quit by playing failbow and failturret builds.

Also its funny when the engis in your party swapped to cele they lost to a double thief pug so they had to go back to turret to get dem wins.

No. Right now they are just normal turret engys, but its beta phase at the moment so it could change.

Hi! Tibs here (Currently #1 NA) and I have discovered the codes for the upcoming warrior spec. In fact I have been running it during the later half of the current PvP tourny.

Specialization Name: Turret Warrior

The Turret warrior seeks to combine the brawler mentality of the current warrior class, but also add new layers of depth to the class. What this spec does is unlock the offhand warrior pistol for use in addition to adding 3 new utility skills.

The Turret warrior has harnessed his inner rage to further his combative ability. This allows him to summon three Turret Engys to aid him in combat. These engys also bring their own turrets as well as supply crates to add not only additional damage to the warrior, but also a great deal of higher skill level.

With these changes the warrior class has access to a whole new tier of skillful play allowing a much wider array of build types to be used.

I have been using this spec recently and not only has my W/L improved from the stable 60% I had from solo queue to a even better 65% since I swapped to turret warrior. I have even earned a reputation for using this new spec and it is my belief that it is even a tad bit OP. What do you guys think about it?

As cool as that would be it would require nerfing in its base form. If you changed it as is then you have have shoutbows with a 16 second Cd, 7000 healing (2000 going to allies), 4 condi clearing (1 going to allies), adrenaline building healing skill. It would be insanely OP. Oh and it would be instant.

In simple terms

Warrior = More versatility and ease of function. You can do anything in the game and you can do it well. You wont be the best at say 1 v 1s or pve, but you have a place in all of those things. Great class to be if you wvw often.

Ranger = You can dps very well with a power set up and have a place in pvp, pve and wvw, but you are not top tier at anything. You are naturally going to be more squishy if you go damage. You will out dps a warrior in practical wvw terms, but you will lack in your ability to support your term or do anything other then get high numbers. You can go condi bunker as well, but this is inferior to warrior condi bunker.

I play both ranger and warrior fairly often and thats the simple explanation I would give. In the end warrior is the safer choice.

I am from Yaks Bend and I can say with honesty that Yaks Bend could use more roamers (skilled one at that). I spend most of my time roaming and I am able to do get alot of work done for the server, but as solo roamer I do face groups of 3+ people and rarely come across other YB roamers.

YB has a strong militia force and very strong siege expertise, but I do feel that our roaming section could use some work just on the level of getting more bodies out there of qualified roamers. If you want to help beef up the roaming department of Yaks Bend while knowing your server is a steady and reliable creature in addition to having no shortage of things to do then Yaks Bend may be for you.

Human, its called a joke and not an insult at all. By saying the asians on DB cant speak the proper english needed to convey clear insults to me is no more an insult then saying I cant speak German, Spanish or any given language. If you honestly take that as an insult (I assume you dont) then you are too soft for the internet.

Do you have nothing better to do than to make these lists? These are basically lists of “well known players that I think might be best in the game”. The true best players of these classes are not as famous as these players, and I’ve seen people much better at their respective classes than some of these people. There are a lot of duelers in wvw and even king of the hill arenas that could destroy any of these guys. Pease stop posting about your little “group of pros”. It’s getting repetitive.

What the OP is talking about is overall gameplay. He is not talking about 1 v 1 ability, but instead their overall ability to be a team player within their respective Tpvp teams.

I am a faceless nobody as far as tpvp goes, but seeing this list makes me feel good that I have seen, fought and killed 1 v 1 several of the names on this list. Of all of them Tarcis seemed the best warrior and most pleasant of a person.

Now I am no avid follower of pvp, streams, information leaks or anything, but I did notice this new addition following the most recent path. You know when you go to the mists you can hit me and scroll around to see the various parts of it. Eotm, wvw, and all spvp arenas. I saw this next to the other current spvp maps.

Is this already seen or has nobody noticed this?

Well human society has been dominated by the straight male population for a huge part of our history so in that sense it was superior.

I have not once raged, been toxic or left a tpvp match, but Skyhammer takes my ultimate willpower to not just quit the game to avoid playing on it. I solo queue in team queue just to get away from it.

To illustrate just how angry this makes me consult the attached picture.

I do not see any reason to gate of features like standardized models to just team queue. Why deny a feature that people will find helpful? When you lock that kind of thing off to higher tier tpvp all it does is create a greater divide between the common player and the “elite” thus leading to a faltering tpvp scene which is already pathetic in its current form.

Anet should be encouraging people to enter pvp and excel in it. Denying basic features like standard models is very counter intuitive.

So I used the standardized models today when I solo queued in team que (go to hell skyhammer) and I found the new models to be a very nice solution to the complaints brought on by the pvp community on the advantage of asura. However with this new system I have two issues I would like to address.

1. Why is this only available in team que? Is there any real reason why it cannot be brought to solo que or even hotjoins?

2. There is only one model per class which means if the enemy team have 2 rangers they look exactly alike thus making it harder to pick out which one is which. In the middle of combat you don’t always have time to look at the names of your enemies and instead need to react instantly on the situation and your ability to do this rests highly in knowing your enemy. What can my enemy do to counter my intended plan? This is a very important question which can make a break any battle.

With the new standardized models being limited to only 1 model this can negatively effect the players ability to remember which enemy is which due to the fact that they all look alike. How hard would it be to have 5 different (even if slightly, but obvious) standardized models to account for such gripes to improve the standardized model system? Right now I find all of my enemies whom are the same class looking alike to be more of a hindrance on my overall performance then my enemies being asura.

What are your opinions on this? Do you think that we can get more variants of the standardized models so the enemy do not all look alike?

I had a racist joke in mind with all models looking alike and the Chinese version of the game in regards to the feature pack, but I am too much a punk to go through with it.

So I was about to log out after some guild wvw night and I bring up the tp just to check on some things. Well when I open it I see that I own some very nice things that you can see in the picture below.

So none of this is mine(obviously), but when I opened the TP all this appeared. Now being the opportunistic gentleman I am I naturally tried to sell everything to the highest buyer. I fiddled with this for 5 minutes before some rude bandits ran into the little tower I was in forcing me to vacate the area. I ported back to the spawn and re-opened the TP to find that it was back to its poor, normal self and that I had 63 copper waiting on me to pick it up.

So this was just a fun experience that I thought I would share. There was even more stuff as the pages went on, but I only took one picture as my SS folder was filled.

What about weapon skins? If I have the fused longbow on a weapon can I use the splitter to get the skin back and then sell it? Will the spliter give me the skin back at all?

With 5 being the average looking Charr I give you a 6.5. You are more unique than the average Charr with an obvious engineer vibe.
