I had an AMAZING time Anet… I really did – it was smooth.. didnt have lag… there was a couple of mobs that spawned on top of us.. but it was expected

Hi there.. I am getting SEVERE lag spikes in WVW upwards of about 20 seconds. Similar to what it was during todays event.

My wife’s computer is fine and we are on the same connection.. what could be the issue?

This is completely unplayable and I have to leave WvW due to the huge amount of spikes – players are popping up and disappearing and not moving for many seconds at a time.

Hey there Anet,

First I’d like to say that I absolutely love the game – I love the difficulty on a lot of the aspects of it (especially that Halloween clock tower! Bravo!)

I wanted to make a suggestion for future legendary progressions and completions.

Does anyone remember old Everquest? Remember how hard it was to get the class epics? You needed a group of about 20-30 buddies to take down quite a few chunks of it – making the story and quest feel very difficult and progressive. I’d like to see that implemented into GW2.

Make it so that sections of the quest have their own events that you would have to spawn and complete with your friends. This creates a feeling of community and allows to build quite a few friendships which will then benefit when YOU are trying to get your Epic/Legendary.

EQ had a very big faming aspect as it had very, very rare drops and peices in order to complete it. For example, a rare spawn in Charnors Castle was required deep inside of it (very difficult to get into due to very hard monsters around) to get a peice for the Monk Epic. It spawned specifically at night and specific other mobs had to be downed in order for it to spawn.

The sense of excitement when getting that “bone piece” was a huge factor in EQ keeping me for 7 years.

I hope you guys do something similar or at least take this into consideration

I dont think thats the case – I stay in my home BL and command there almost every day. I stay where people know me and enjoy the BL’s more than EB.

Hello everyone – Commander Saiyrah here from PiNK TC – I am normally in charge of defending our homeland – TC BL.

I did not read the whole forum post here as there seems to be quite a bit of flaming.. I shall avoid that..

Either way I will continue to give it a go during the week – SoR has continued to outnumber us during the entire weekend and it is very difficult to even give it a try while one side owns 3 orbs. We all know this needs to change. And please don’t lie saying it doesn’t. TC has been on the winning side too very similar to yours and the other servers tend to give up.. making wvw very un-fun.

All I ask is.. don’t sit here and gloat about how awesome you are here -… its not going to make anyone play anymore. We all know that ET is non-existent in wvw and it is not an option for us this week to team up due to your orb buffs.

Most of all.. have fun – had a lot of fun on Friday night hopefully once Anet has done the balancing and fixing we can start having some great matches

The problem is… my bank says there has been zero declines… I am going to try and purchase more gems now… we shall see.

I cannot get any of my 3 credit cards to get approved on my account.
Earlier today I was able to buy 4000 gems and wanted to buy another 4000 – it did not let me but let me purchase the gem bundles below it – i seem to of exhausted the amount i could buy from those too because i can no longer buy any gems whatsoever with any of my cards.
I talked to my banks and they claim my attempts are not being triggered to the bank and it is not going through ArenaNet to the bank in the first place..
I understand I have purchased many gems and you guys could of locked my account due to fraud alerts.. but I was getting my commander insiginia today.. and that is a lot of gems
I submitted a ticket incident 120924-005391 earlier today.
I wanted to see if anyone else was having an issue or if there is a small chance a GM sees this post and accelerates the process to allow me to purchase more gems.
I appreciate the help.
