Playtime: I can’t specify this. (Lots of variables effect this) Though I do play regularly and will hop in possible events whenever I can.

My mesmer can always represent the guild.

I think a lot of players (me aswell) came back from a big break and started playing again. Used to roam as d/d nonstop (1000+ hours of d/d in WvW). But fel in love with s/d when I went more into sPvP because of all that skill lag here in deso around march.

Still have some old d/d videos on my channel for those who are interested. Future video’s will most likely be s/d though ^^

Condition eles bassicaly won’t work because we can’t reapply big stacks/lots of condis fast enough. Unless you’re dueling someone who doesn’t have condicleanse at all… But that wouldn’t make sense

Me and my friends are bored of the laggy zergs all around in T1 europe.
So I came up with the idea to create a guild which people can join to easy contact other people who are interested in dueling as well.

The guild “We live to [duel]” (non-representing) is created to organise 1vs1 and small group battles.
I made a different rank for every server.

Alright I’ll admit it. I had my cat dancing on my keyboard randomly pushing keys…

Right now I’m using full cleric. During this video I didn’t have boon duration runes yet. (I’m a bit lazy when it comes to optimizing armor)

I’m planning on dropping some healing power for more damage. In the description of my vid theres a link to my guide. I’ll be adding my new gear to that when I have it ready.

Sceptre isn’t bad, I just don’t like the skills.
And in my opinion staff wasn’t meand to be a 1vs1 weapon.
Staff becomes very usefull in bigger groups.

The only thing I do in gw2 is WvW and I understand that the game is not about 1vs1. But when I do get in such situation and I’m not in a hurry. Then I won’t say no to it
(Thats bassicaly the only 1 vs x things I record)

I know staff is not a good 1vs1 weapon. (Never said it was) I was just replying to eldain stenlund’s first comment. I think anet didn’t want staff to be a 1vs1 weapon anyway. In bigger groups on the other hand, staff can be way more benefitial for the group then d/d.

It’s that way for every proffesion. Some weapons are better in smaller fights, other weapons are meand to use for bigger fights.

The reason I wanted to post a second video is because most videos I saw of d/d in outnumbered situations are against underleveled opponents.

I have tried playing with sceptre. But I just can’t seem to like it tbh.
I might post a video with focus in future tho, but that probably won’t be a 1 vs x vid

With staff in the current situation, you won’t be able to beat a skilled player. I’ve had 1vs1’s with staff in the past. You’ll only kil players that aren’t too skilled. Not saying that you can’t survive against a more skilled player, but you can’t kil them either.

Right now I’m enjoying mesmer very much. So I might record some stuff with that.
(Everyone calls elementalist OP, I haven’t had problems with most elementalists as a mesmer tho)

Everything is cleric. Superior sigil of battle and bloodlust.
Right now I’m using superior runes of dwayna. But the regeneration from healing skill doesn’t remove a condition. (While I’m traited for it) So I’ll drop it for something else soon.

Traits are 0-10-0-30-30.

This is the first video I ever made/recorded. I encoded to 1280-1024. ( I play at 1280-1024) Ingame I have best performance enabled because else I lag during fights in WvW very often.

The reason this video is a bit ‘squashed’ is because I recorded with bad settings. A friend helped me out with in. Future videos should be in better quality

It would really make me happy if someone from anet could reply to this topic to let us know if there is any chance they will change anything about the current situation. Right now it is demotivating a lot of players that go in EB to do WvW in certain servers.

Giving certainty is at least better then nothing.

I understand the hate against the puzzle in EB for some servers. During prime time we have queues and have the trouble of the world to get more then 20 people together while facing way bigger zergs. The problem is at least 30 people camping the jumping puzzle. If the jumping puzzle would get seperated from EB so the people in it don’t fil up a spot on the map so the people that want to help out in WvW can get in. Then that would help a lot for servers which have a lot of Randoms Pugs in EB. (At night time when close to outmanned we often get a bigger zerg together then during prime time with queue :/)

I’m not a fan of zerging, but if you’re playing with randoms. You often have no other option.

Figured out its probably a max map limit which doesn’t make sense to me.

No one can drop siege in eternal battleground anymore of our server (desolation). Figured out there’s probably a max map limit.

I’m on the desolation server. Due to some bug no one in eternal battlegrounds can place siege equipment anymore while the other servers still can. It’s not because we placed to many siege at that location already. It’s just not possible to throw anything down. No1 of our server can throw down siege for some reason.

Arenanet, fix this quick please!

Immediatly start aoeing and placing cc on the portal. If u manage to do that with enough people they wil die real fast.

Camps are just fine the way they are right now to me. Soloing a camp becomes a lot harder once a skilled invader jumps in.
I would enjoy it way more if they find a solution for the rendering/lag problem caused by big fights in stone mist. Not being able to use a single skill is really frustrating.

Just up and move to the server you want. Why the need to come announce it here? Its like you are somehow looking to boost your legitimacy when you make your move.

I don’t think you understand the reason of this topic then. (Or even read what was written). This topic was made to gather information about the situation in other servers.
To make it easier for us to find the right server.

@ Lightvision: Thanks. We’ll take that in count. Being able to get our members in WvW together is important for us.

I’m in this guild as well. A quick response to everyone who is negative:
I’m a 100% active WvW player and my main map is EB. I have fought for this server (day and night) from the beginning and never planned on leaving.
But Far shiverpeaks got to a point where it became a PVE server. Everyone who was active in WvW left to another server. I like though fights. But constantly being outmanned and not having support from any1 else except our guild and few other players (most of those will follow us aswell) made me change my opinion.

Now a reply to those who think we want easy wins and only are interested in SFR and BT. The answer is NO.
It just happen to be that most FSP players went to these servers. Thats why we received the most information about these servers and felt a little bit connected with them.
This doesnt mean we only want to go to on of these servers.
We’re willing to join any server that’s worth it, but we need to know more about them first. Thats why legitemy made this forum post.

Thanks to all who understanded the reason of this topic and posted information about their server. Have seen other interesting servers as well so far.
