shrapnel procs on the exploding part of pistol auto attack, i have tested it on the golems in pvp just an hour ago.
and i can understand IP nerf, it was the same as dhuumfire for necro and it is a grandmaster trait for them

any engineer with bombs or grenades be it condi or power could kill off the mm, with elixirs in the mix even faster as they would have tons of might and they cleanse conditions on use, just overpower them staying at max range if grenadiers (grenades are rather slow like staff #1 and easily avoided) and when they are running bomb kit max bomb range is 360 or something, scepter is 900 and axe is 600 they will not reach unless they immob you.
any player luring you to terrain that has a few cliffs or stairs knows how to kill MM’s so do not take the bait, just search another sacrifice for your horde

ah celestial looks indeed promising on a guardian, someone in my guild uses it for hybrid necromancer and that seems to work good in dungeons, in theory the jack of all trades engineer could also benefit from this but never thought of the guardian and i wonder why :p
and also yes hands off the Radiance line it is perfect imo

sounds good, but the question is will the warriors consider it OP and demand nerf and be given that and getting buffed at the same time cuz there is no love for those poor kittens spamming 100b

dredge staff, now that would make a nice kit /environmental weapon :p
but yes most staffs look too fragile, hammer/mace could be a viable melee option for us yes.
and i doubt all weapons for all classes, as Stice said, imagine a necro with a rifle :p
maybe 1 or 2 extra weapons i could see that happen without too much copy pasting from other classes

elixer X is good enough for pvp and even dungeon, keeping adds from a downed ally while another person heals him/her.
If any of the elites should be fixed it would be mortar, just giving the option to reposition it would help a lot, just an option to pick it up and put it down somewhere else, the rest must remain unchanged, or would this mobility make it too strong?
and a 4th elite robo suit sounds like fun

we engineers want a fix to the hobosacks so we can view our living story rewards as in holographic dragon wings, fervid censer, an adorable quaggan or charr backpack, the new tequatl wings when we attack mobs with kits
so yes this is the place to ask about when they are finally going to fix this issue we have.

full dire with something like x/30/x/15 (with trait ll) /x and runes of the scavenger would be a vampiric condition tank, in theory it sounds good for wvw but it depends on the number of ele’s and shout guards on the enemy team

use different runes, use gemstones you sometimes get when mining, at low level any stat is good, real gear is for lvl 80, spending money on gear below that is a waste of in game gold imo unless you are dying to much then replace the lowest level gear you have. you get gear from story quests and drops that should be enough to survive to 80

just get your gifts for legendary that are not legendary specific like the fortune one and wait a few months collecting all sorts of materials and gold to make the new legendaries.
godskull dagger, sacrificial blade of komalie, malefactorym (plague dagger) and so are necro-ish
scepter has many i especialy like the pirate one and zaithan’s reach,
the skull focuses are Adam and gaze.
axe: ophidian, the transparent purple one, kryta’s salvation, dreadwing are nice but none are very necro-ish in the classical sence, the mace kevin would have been such a cool weapon for us though..

why does no one search further? dulfycleric said on his/her website that magic find gear will become some sort of consumable which you can double click and give another stat combo, maybe there will be some restrictions but yes you can keep the skins and runes/sigils on your gear just the stats will change

give turrets racial skins! and improve AI but jaeger sounds like a bad idea, necro minions are bad turrets should be equally bad, they have a bit more oomph but no mobility and that is a good balancing thing

I used to run a similar build but with elixer U or R instead of C
your traits look like 10/30/0/30/0
with burn on crit, pistol and elixer recharge reduction, pistol pierce, maybe +range too

for this achievement what is meant by crafting?
I made 3 lvl 20 shoulders on my lvl 80 engineer (my crafting is way too low, I know :p )
but those 3 were not counted towards the achievement? is this a bug?

Rabid is also a good option, it gives toughness, precision and condition damage, the precision is good to get the on crit bleed from sigil and maybe burn (explosives V trait)
I do not play condition spec with my engineer but i do with my necro and i run full rabid gear and that works since scepter scales poorly with power, but pistol could use some power so try to mix a bit
you have to find the balance between power, crit chance, malice and defense (vit and tough)

Mortar has a few uses in boss fights like against jormag i usualy put it down to kill the goliath and the ice spikes, and maybe WvW when defending a fort, but yeah that is about the only use it has.
Elixer X is just RNG elite steal from warr/ele/necro
and Crate is a good stun, heal, burn and immobilize, so there is only win in that :p

My necro started as a norn but it just did not fit so I remade him as a human looking more like my necro in GW1 and he is still my main, i also leveled a human engineer and tried to make him look like me.
i also had a norn guardian and a sylvari thief but i did not like the professions they had, maybe i will make an asuran warrior just to see them hop with a hammer :p

I like this idea of a cleave weapon, and yes the question remains also gets a scythe?
guardian is more a protector than a reaper so lore wise i do not think a murderous weapon like that is fitting, a warrior and thieve do come to mind

this was so frustrating when i first got the game, now i heal when at 40% health and not as a last resort panic button that one is now elixer S xD

the only other class i know that has RNG is mesmer with staff, the chaos field and autoattack give random conditions to foes and random boons to allies

Mortar is a ok-ish elite in WvW, maybe in some map where you can bottleneck people in a ravine or something it could be usefull in sPvP as well but predictable :s
FT needs fixed, i hate to see a flamethrower miss, it is not logical for me
i realy like the toolbag and bomb kit, but traiting them makes pistol and rifle a complete joke..

As Taril was saying, it is indeed just a problem with the hero panel, it has been improved but a few things have been overlooked, i once stacked the power boost and corruption boost and precision boost and every time i saw the damage scale like it should (it went up, i’m too lazy to do any real math outside of school)

does the sigil of battle actually work? because we can not switch weapons and kits only have 1 sec cooldown, changing weapons has 10s (or 8 with runes of the warr iirc)
so it seems to OP to be allowed

very nice build, i use something similar but with spectral wall for extra vulnerability
and wow 900hrs O_o i only have 300 on my necro :p

i agree with the change in UI, it would help to have an eye on the healing CD
and only dark path should need a little tweak that makes it being cast faster
so it doesn’t miss that often due to enemy running beyond range.

this is a known problem for the elite skill and yes it can hit asura but not in close range :p
I hope they give the lich form a new look or at least resize it to maybe largest norn height

my main is a necro and i have an engineer at lvl 52
yes necro was a lot easier to lvl than an engineer, only minions have kinda glitchy AI
like the engineer turrets. minions are useful early on, but from lvl 50 onwards near useless from what i have experienced.

@Bamboocha, i know i am not Necrosis but the armor he has is Citadel of Flame hat and gloves with Arah shoulders and chestpiece and Twilight Arbor legs, all dungeon armor, the boots are not visible
