Unbeleivable, Vet players should be happy that we get new content. Can I friggen remind you that NO MATTER WHICH GAME we talk about, It costs Money to create add-ons (Or expansions if prefered term). I certainly am glad to be paying Anet for a full Expansion.
Oh yeah, Reminder to Vet players who cry like babies about prices… We only had to pay once for the game(Released in 2012)- the Gemstore is Optional at best and we get full access to the game.
So Crybabies are arguing about paying 50$ in 2012 and 50$ in 2015 for a full game and an expansion???(in-between is optional) I LAUGH AT THAT.
Vets are upset that the $50 is for both base and xpac, basically forcing the vets to rebuy a game they already own. If Anet separated the base game and xpac purchases, there wouldn’t be as much bickering.
If Anet comes out later and says we can gift a copy of the base game to a whole new player, that would be acceptable too.
But so far it seems that Anet is helping the newbie player out more than the veterans. $50 for new players to get the base and xpac, vs veterans (who like me paid $60 when GW2 first came out), will have to pay $50 for another copy of the game which so far is useless and cant be given away and an xpac.

Honestly, if they allow veteran players the ability to gift the copy to a friend who doesn’t already own GW2, this would quell a good bit of the rage.
It would be nice to allow vet players to have, instead of a copy of the base game, the option to have an extra character slot or a reduction in the price, but simply allowing us to gift GW2 base to someone else would be acceptable.

Most of the long time players pay minimum $60 when the game came out. Now Anet wants us to pay $50 for the xpac (which includes the base game). Basically making long time players pay $110 for the SAME content as NEW players who pay just $50.
Can we get a mod to lock this thread? Its stupid and has no merit to the game itself.
Someone on Reddit just posted that to get past the floor while the mortar is bugged, stand on the ice and relog.
I also cannot interact. Hoping theres someone with a mesmer parked under that area that can portal us in.
Is there anything I can do to unlearn a recipe from one character who doesn’t have any ranks in one craft and learn it on a character that does?
Can we get a staffer to comment on this? Will there be an option soon to report hackers expressly, whether targeted reporting or general reporting to note that there is someone currently hacking that we cant target?
With all the zerggin TC does, I was not impressed by their defense/offense about 12 hrs ago on TCBL and MagBL. Sadly they know when to hit and hold keeps for points vs a predominately NA server, but in a straight fight, no talent. I do recall one point where they had to have a zerg triple our size bottle neck us on the bridge at SS camp just to kill us.
Anet really needs to have some sort of report hacking option with a description as to what the person is doing, and have some sort of quick response for the reporting.
For example, someone from a server I will not mention, was under the map killing our siege in one of our keeps/towers about 6-7 hrs ago. It would almost appear as if the person was a mesmer clone, but he kept popping up from under the map to kill siege, and nothing else. I was not the only one to see this happen, and it was too random for me to get a screenshot.
But even in this case, I couldn’t target this person to even report for botting or anything.
Maguuma WvWvW Vacation Week 1.
I’d like to thank OTG and BOMB of Yak’s Bend for the free and easy karma/badges in Mag BL. Much appreciated.
I got a hard crash on the final phase (sent details of crash), and was unable to get back into a server that was on the event. Hope to be compensated.
If I dont reply, its not that I mean, its just I cant reply to everyone, just keep trying to JOIN on me or anyone else who is successful at getting into the overflow and and not ask for an invite.
You guys need to join on me, and not bomb me with PM’s. Party is currently full but keep trying if there is an empty spot.
Join on me, I managed to get into one.
I would love an invite too. Ingame name TrunkMonkey
I was promised that the Noll part would continue past noon and not to worry, yet its now almost 3 hrs past and still no Noll.
I am actually tired of fighting one on one battles.
Eredon Terrace, get your players in WvWvW and lets dance!
I do not believe we are referring to the mesmers who walked up to the top of the keep in order to portal your guys in or anyone who benefitted from the mesmer portals. We are referring to some random guardian/warrior guy who was obviously speedhacking through the castle in front of everyone.
JerkJerk is currently moving IRL, Oprey has personal issues, Rocode I think is laying low trying not to make anyone mad at him.
@Kash Kind of hard to “drop the ball” when our dedicated experienced N.American commanders take a small break from the game due to personal matters.
Dolyaks, because my body message must be at least 15.
We had a bad commander make a poor decision to abandon Fort Alamo, but we got it back and we currently hold it for the past few hrs (at least before I logged to get ready for work).
10 people is one thing, but 20+? I remember when they were matched up against Maguuma, they were pushed off the map. The only thing they could do was camp the jump puzzle, it appeared to be the whole guild who was online at that time.
Linux fragmented? Almost all current Linux distributions support either the latest 2.6.x kernel or the latest 3.x kernel, which is the core of the system.
Sure every distribution may have their own tweaks to the UI or have included specific sets of software, or even have their own repository for software downloads, but the core of the system is still the same.
I guess if you are an Apple fanboy, you can easily use the word fragmented in place of convenience/customization/choice.
+1
I would like to know exactly what is changed with each patchnote, like how long skill timers have increased or decreased, how difficulty of dungeons have been increased or decreased, etc. If you fix a dungeon due to exploits, whats the harm in telling us what the exploit was if its fixed?
Also it would be nice to know that other dungeons were changed that were not listed.
I feel not letting the player know specifics to the changes is deceitful, and removes enjoyment from playing the game.
