Anet, you already have the tool to fix this. Please implement the DS mechanic that prevents players from joining a map with completed meta, for Auric Basin.

After my first significant loss streak I was getting someone afk from start about every 3rd game and overall godawful teams. Not fun. Eventually gave up on rankeds.

Eval.2371:

Condition damage needs to do as damage as power does without ferocity. Expertise should only affect condi duration on crits.
Protection needs to be universal in reduction.
Toughness needs to be universal in reduction.
Condi clear and Resistance need to go.

Until we get a good combination of the above, they will remain an abuse case.

The Fields of Ruin event “Rescue the villagers and defeat harpy kidnappers” is bugged in that the spawned harpy enemies (Harpy Warrior, Harpy Hunter) are lvl 80-81 in a lvl 40 zone and therefore are invincible and oneshoot player characters trying to do the event.

WvW is becoming unplayable due to lag whenever the new ley line event is up.

Don’t do it. Depending on circumstances, it can get you banned.

That is simply not true. There are several female armors that show no skin at all, not even the face, and more that show only the face.

In my opinion it was not the return of alpine borderlands that saved WvW but the introduction of WvW reward tracks.

Even if it’s timegated, there’s very few things that require them in a large quantity that a SINGLE player is meant to accrue. Guild hall upgrades need a large number in total, but with the number of players in guilds, it’s a small amount for each player.

Every piece of celestial gear needs 5 of them. Sinister, Viper, Trailblazer, Commander and Wanderer gear need them too.
Even consumables like Bountiful and Furious tuning crystals, oils and sharpening stones need them. I am always short on them, even without considering the demands of guilds.

Do the quests there and it will not be contested.

Try telling a map orga of 100+ people to move maps if you’re annoying them… Don’t know if that’s confident or conceited.

A decent map orga will jump maps beforehand to get an empty map… which is not needed at Tequatl because that event is so easy it won’t fail even if 50% of players kitten about.
Which is also one of the reasons I have no sympathy for members of organized groups who get abusive towards other players there.

How about no. You don’t have a say on other people’s play on open world maps.

I found base condi ranger w/o druid and reaper to be very good at HoT solo play.

You can have all TT mastery points within in 3-4 runs if you join one of the organized groups with voice communication for it. If you do, those mastery points will be easier to get and faster to get than most other mastery points.

There is no fix needed.
If you want to make it so that people don’t get any more “xp” after completing the mastery that would be kinda ok but the dev resources should go soemwhere else preferably.

I end up preferring viper gear to zerker on almost all my toons.

The funny thing is people now calling it “druid self res” when in truth it is a fairly weak ranger ability that has been in the game since forever.

Same in cursed shores, I think location doesn’t matter.

Why would I craft ascended gear with viper/trailblazer/minstrel stats?
Isn’t it much cheaper to craft e.g. Zojja(berserker) ascendeds and change their stats in the mystic forge to circumvent the 50 fulgurite?
Am I missing something?

*when browsing “buy items” no items show at all. no matter what category of items I search or what filters I use. Instead always the message “sorry, no items match this filter”
*there are some players who claimTP works for them but maybe they are just selling and not trying to buy, idk. The majority seems to have this problem.

Having the same problem. Others confirmed it in chat. Don’t think it is on my end.

I experience this as well and I suspect servers are dying bc the new content (raid) somehow taxes them in an unforeseen manner. Idk why it affects some people and others not but it affects many who had 0 problems before HoT.

I have the same issue, around prime time i suddenly get horrible ping and connection issues, and it seems to be getting worse.
